Hello. After updating to Firefox 138.0 (20250421163656), an issue has appeared that causes incorrect transparency behavior in the taskbar. The problem is that Firefox expands to full screen but continues to operate in windowed mode. After enabling full-screen mode (F11), the issue disappears until the next interaction with the browser. Nothing critical, just a bit annoying.

Do I need Firefox 78.0.2 (x64) and Firefox ESR (x64)? Also I noticed I have noticed a very slow startup. I have an old Dell Vostro 460 PC. I also did a Task Manager and noticed five Firefox process. Can I shut some of these down?

I updated Firefox to version 138 yesterday. I use Linux Ubuntu.

Now, this has occurred to me twice. Browser stops reacting to mouse clicks on certain sites(Noble Horse Champion, Flight Rising) after hours of browsing and I have to use right-click to navigate on those sites.... until I restart browser. I tried to close tab and refresh tab when these problems occurred.

I think this is clearly browser problem(because clicked areas are on browser, not tabs), not problem in sites itself, because problem manifested itself after hours of browsing, not immediately.

I have my Firefox browser set to ask me where I would like to save my downloads. However, it never asks me. It just automatically sends everything to my downloads folder then opens the file in a new window. I then have to go into my downloads folder and save it where I want to save it. So I must go through the saving process twice. Given that I download a lot of files for my business, this gets real old real quick. I don't have this problem with Chrome. I would like to stick with Firefox, but I'm going to have to make a change if I can't get this issue fixes.

Tabs of Gmail not working in Firefox Browser even after clearing history, cookies and the issue persist after logging out and re logging in. The issue doesn't happen in other browsers.

i deleted my firefox bookmark backups yesterday, placing them into my recycle bin and then emptying it, today i regretted it and used diskdrill to recover them however, when i try to load them back up firefox says it is unable to process the backup file. is there anything you can do to help me with this problem? i have included some images if that will help at all

Is there a way to have selected tab groups open as part of your homepage start up? I currently have my homepage set with a number of custom urls.

For example - https://www.amazon.com|https://www.ebay.com|https://www.weather.com

I would like to combine the first 2 into a tab group named "shopping" and when I open firefox fresh I would like to see the collapsed shopping group and the weather tab.

I tried to set this up then pressed the "Use Current Pages" in settings, but all it did was remove tabs that I had placed in the tab group, so when I opened firefox, they just weren't there. I was able to use the down arrow on the tab bar to find my group and open it, but I would just rather see it on startup instead of having to go look for it.

I'm unable to update Mozilla Firefox using apt due to the following error:

E: Failed to fetch https://packages.mozilla.org/apt/dists/mozilla/main/binary-amd64/Packages 400 Bad Request [IP: 34.160.78.70 443]

While troubleshooting, I found that the request does return the package list, but with a 400 Bad Request status, which causes apt to fail.
