Hello everyone,

I manage the website for Vriddhi Foundation, a Nasha Mukti Kendra in Sonipat. Recently, I noticed that our website loads perfectly in Chrome and Microsoft Edge, but in Mozilla Firefox some pages either load very slowly or don't display correctly. In a few cases, images fail to load and the layout looks broken, which affects the user experience.

I have already cleared the browser cache, disabled extensions, and tested the website on different devices, but the issue still exists only in Firefox. Since many visitors use Firefox to access our website, I'm concerned that this problem may affect enquiries and website performance.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue with Firefox? Are there any browser settings, compatibility checks, or developer tools I should use to identify and fix the problem? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

My Firefox browser (nightly snap 154.0a1 on Ubuntu 24.04) has been misbehaving lately (~2 weeks now) and I'm at a loss why.

First, when I scroll using the mouse wheel, the scrollbar continuously shoots back to the top constantly during scrolling.

Second, when I type text in a Google box and hit enter key, it drops to the next line - like one would expect in a text processing application.

Third, when on YouTube, trying to rewind/forward video instead starts navigating to clickable links. Of particular note (see the attached screenshots) is the appearance of text (such as "Skip navigation" and "Volume" to name a few) - something I've never seen before.

This happens with a new profile as well.

Now, I know that nightly will sometimes have broken items but this is a weird one. I at one time thought the batteries on my wireless keyboard could be responsible but new batteries (confirmed new with a digital multimeter) did not change that.

I'm on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS fully patched. Anyone here with ideas on what it might be?

My javascript cannot detect the difference beween closing a new preferences tab and a new non domain tab. I believe this is for security reasons. This leads to one of my custom messages popping up when closing a non domain tab, which is not standard behavour on other websites on FireFox. If the user does or does not follow the popup instructions everything works fine. My question is: does this disqualify my website from being posted to the internet for FireFox browsing, or is it tolerable to users and to Mozilla? I have intentionally left out of this post technical information about my javascript. Believe me, I have tried countless ways to code my way out of this situation but due to Firefox's strong security measures, it is impossible. I should mention that perhaps if my script was an addon I would have accesss to the TAbs API which might offer a solution. The purpose of the script is to update the website to changes to the default Browser Zoom Level as found in the prefererence settings. Does anyone know if this purpose is compatible with FireFox Addon developement?Thanks so much for directing me to informed assistance. I hope the post is not "TMI"!!

I cannot access my Yahoo email account currently on desktop computer, using Windows 7 Pro and Firefox 115.37.0esr. The Select Verification Method window appears but the cursor changes from an active hand to just the regular cursor shape and nothing will be active in the window. This isnt a problem on my phone or when using Chrome on the same desktop. Is there any chance of resolving this with these versions of Windows and Firefox?

Hi there. The past few weeks whenever I try to view any YouTube embed on any website I just get this error and the video does not play: Sign in to confirm that you're not a bot

Of course I am signed in but it does nothing. It works in other web browsers, just not Firefox. I've tried resetting my cache and cookies, private windows, and disabling all extensions but nothing seems to work.

I have firefox on imac, ipad and iphone. Recently my imac firefox browser became unable to load etrade after the login page. It just shows a white/blank page. I have to use my mobile devices to see this site. I have tried opening in troubleshooting mode - no change. I don't have any extensions or add-ons. The problem has persisted for 2 or 3 weeks so far. Tahoe 26.5

Hello, I am using Linux Mint on a desktop with the latest version of Firefox. Two weeks ago I could login to the Discover website with no problems. Suddenly I can not log in, but get an error message that something is wrong and I can't login. I can login using Chrome on this machine. My wife gets the same message when she tried to login to her account on my computer. After several discussions with Discover, all I get is "it is not our problem."

I am having no problems logging into other accounts with Firefox on this computer.

I have not explicitly changed anything on the browser or computer. I have done some updates which included Firefox. I can login on a different Linux computer using an older version of Firefox. Of course the updates were also to the computer and I will ask the same question to the Linux forum.

I really like Firefox and would hate to have to change to Chrome.

I am using a Macbook air.

Following the last couple of updates I am now unable to see my Facebook feed, it will load the page except its only sort of highlighted. When attempting to load anything including messages it just hangs.

I have the same issue trying to access my Superannuation account, it simply hangs and eventually tells me to contact my fund due to a technical issue.

If I use Chrome or Safari or my iphone I can get in no problem to both of these.

I have tried disabling the VPN before we had it and after-no good!

Since the latest Firefox update, I cannot load my primary banking account, and one of my work websites won't load. I can access both of these sites on other browsers.

This message "We are experiencing some temporary issues. The market data on this page is currently delayed." display by Firefox every time I get into finance.yahoo.com recently, but not by other browser. search the message online and follow the steps try to solve the problem and not success.

When I try to make a Google search I get the following message, "I'm not a robot" with a reCAPTCHA: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?". This happens on Firefox, but not Chrome or Edge. I have scanned with Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Hitman Pro, Trend Micro House Call and Microsoft Defender, nothing detected. Running Win 10 (64) with 'Extended Security Updates', Firefox 152.0.3 (64), no additional Extensions or Plugins, no VPN and have run through the troubleshooting suggestions. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. Note: currently I do have extensions installed, previously I did not, however with or without the problem exists Attached screenshots

The new government site bom.gov.au loads but flickering, it was working a few month ago but illegible now. Works fine in Private Mode and in MS Edge

When I click on to gmail I get a screen saying ' Temporary Error We're sorry, but your account is temporarily unavailable. We apologise for the inconvenience and suggest trying again in a few minutes. You can view the Google Workspace Statue Dashboard for the current status of the service. This has been happening sice yesterday, and I have switched browser to view emails, but I would like to know what has happened. I have checked that I am running the latest version of Firefox, but little else.

I am unable to access even my regular haunts, quite often lately. Sometimes I'm able to access the site by taking Enhanced Tracking Protection off, but oftentimes not. I need to use Edge!!! And I get the message "The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem." I have gotten that message AT BANKING SITES. It's become too annoying. Tried adding exceptions, to no avail.
