Until recently, I was able to print and create PDF from Mozilla browser. I can only create a PDF if I select the printer option Microsoft to PDF. For the past few weeks or so every time I try to do so the following gibberish appears in a notebook. See below:

It used to be that, when I minimize a window in Firefox, there would be a Firefox icon for each window in my dock (the row of icons at the bottom of my Mac screen). When I would open Firefox, all windows would show up there; when I'd quit Firefox, the icons for the windows would disappear (leaving only the main icon for the app in my dock).

I just got a new computer (Macbook Air M2, in case that makes any difference) and I can't figure out how to make this work like it used to. Now, when I minimize a window, it just retreats to the main Firefox icon in the dock, and if I want to click on it or any other minimized window again, I need to right click on the icon and select a window from the list there, which really gets in the way of my work flow. I can't figure out how to set it like it used to be. Help!

Bonus question: The other thing I've always wanted to do, that seems like it should be possible but I don't knwo if it is — to name a window. So like, I could have a window named "Travel info" and one named "Project X" etc, so it would show the name I gave the window, rather than whatever tab happens to be currently showing, and I could see at a glance what's in the window. If there's any way to do this I'd love to know.

I am currently running the latest version of Firefox Version 111.0 (64 bit) on an Intel Mac OS machine. Firefox updated automatically per usual but now I am no longer able to drag from my toolbar downloads dropdown to either my desktop or any folder on my Mac. I used to be able to do this and it was apart of my daily workflow. So frustrating that something so small would be removed. I can only drag from my downloads to a new Firefox tab ONLY if hold down option but that is the only place I can drag and drop. Any solution? Please help.

Apparently, due to the latest update of Firefox, when I start this browser, I see a redirect to the home page, although I changed the settings so that when the browser starts, the last active page opens (everything was fine before). I'm not sure, but I think this started happening after the 111.0.1 update. My OS is Windows 7

When I type in entries via the keyboard, the typed letters/numbers or characters appear as random nonsence, for instance “ :'`zxcvb nghjkl; '`zx cvbnm,. /12345 67890-= ”, rendering your app unusable. The keyboard works fine on all other apps, I have to type anything I want to enter into Firefox into a word document first, copy it & then paste it into Firefox, which is what I have done here. This has been going on for some time & has not been resolved despite several updates to the latest version. What can I do to resolve the problem. I use Duck Duck Go as my search engine. So i have been using firefox on pc for a while now peacefully, i would usually be able to download videos from dailymotion via videodownloader pro ext without any prompts for “save as” for videos, it would automatically add the videos to the downloader and start download.

Sadly those good days have ended as i accidentally deleted the extension via the troubleshoot> restart options.

On a fresh firefox, I redownloaded the videodownloader pro, unchecked the “always ask” for the downloads in the setting, and tried to download a video. it popped up the save as prompt, i tested a winrar download to see if it was on the extensions side, it was able to download without the prompts. I then checked the settings for the extension itself in which did not have anything for downloads. I next tried a different downloader, video downloader professional ext, that also had same result as the previous extension.

Anyone have this problem and have fix? In the meanwhile downloading shows is going to be one extra click of pain for me.

With Windows 10 autofill with Firefox never worked for me even though the appropriate options were checked. I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and it worked! So happy. But that was only for about 2 weeks. And then a couple of days ago it stopped working. (Maybe from a Firefox update??) It's really frustrating and tedious even with the passwords being filled automatically when I start the login process with the user name. Is there anything that can be done?

IT Glue has a button to copy details to clipboard and when I do a paste I get [object promise]

I am experiencing an issue with the Firefox browser when opening an HTML file, and I would like to know the cause and possible solutions. I have included the sample code in the troubleshooting section.

Issue details:

1. I have written a date input field in HTML. 2. I have set the onclick event to change the input type to "date" and the onblur event to change it back to "text". 3. When I click the input field, the calendar appears, but when I select a date, the date is not entered into the input field. I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue. I installed the Mail Link Enhancer add-on. It works, sort-of. The subject line and other fields included after the ? in the mailto address do not get filled in. Looking at the add-on info, the developer is Nick, but there is no contact info in the More Information section of the add-on profile. The add-on hasn't been updated since 2020, so I'm fairly certain that things changed since then and that's why it isn't working, but I'm no expert.

Firefox said I can edit PDFs now when I updated the browser, but all I get are annotation options. Is that really it? Annotation only (you know, like writing the the margins of a book)? Or can we actually edit (like, changing the text in a book), and if so, where are the tools?

After FTP upload, jpg images are displayed rotated in FireFox-Browser (111.0.1 - 32-Bit). In IE looks OK. The website is built with dreamweaver 8.0. What can I do?
