I am running 150.0.1 on Debian with Cinnamon. I set the fonts to use for Chinese to a custom fonts, where I left Latin fonts to use untouched, I found I must set Latin to use my custom Chinese fonts in order to display Chinese webpage properly, where the English fonts will get out of place, extra spacing in Apostrophe for example, "It's" will become "It 's", this is particular trouble when viewing on Youtube. But I set to use the same custom fonts on Chrome both English and Chinese displayed perfectly.

Recently I have a problem with toolbar and in the Firefox browser. Usually I have 3 display (display from laptop and two monitors). When I use Firefox browser on the main display the toolbar very often is not working correctly.

Mainly the problem is with the folders inside the toolbar, so when I hover any folder, the bookmarks saved in that folder don't appear or appear for just one/two sec, then they disappear.

The second problem is when I have the firefox open on the second display (or on the laptop display) and I moved any tab (only the tab, not entire Firefox application), then my toolbar shows only the first bookmark that is saved on my list.

In attachments I added two ss (one is with my normal view on toolbar, and the second one is with the only first bookmark)

the top bar in the browser is so small it is hard to read and i find it difficult to access the icons. increasing the value of "layout.css.devPixelsPerPx" increased the browser text but did not affect the top bar. Is their another approach or is their a magnifier the will work. Thanks.

I am attempting to use Firefox's new built-in VPN to hide my browsing and use sites that are restricted like Reddit on a common wifi while I am on breaks. It worked on these common wifi systems for a little bit, but last week I believe, it just stopped working one day. Now, when I turn on the VPN, the only thing Firefox will do is display the following error: ~~~~~ Unable to find the proxy server

Try connecting on a different device. Check your modem or router. Disconnect and reconnect to Wi-Fi. ~~~~~ I was originally running Firefox 149 via snap on Ubuntu, but I just uninstalled the snap package and switched to 150.0.1 via the Mozilla APT repository and I am getting identical behavior. Is this just a bug, or is it possible the administrator here has explicitly blocked Firefox VPN? Is there anything else I can do about it, since connecting on a different device doesn't help me, I can't check the modem or router, and disconnecting and reconnecting does nothing?

Anyway to fix the issue?

Please remove and do not add any AI/ML features to Firefox, it's the only mainstream browser of this kind left, i was planning on buying some merch but I don't think this company deserves my money if it tries to make cash off me in an insidious way either way

When viewing a PDF in Firefox the URL bar indicates the file was downloaded to a temporary folder. If I then select "Save" from the PDF toolbar; or if I right click and select "Save page as" it opens a save dialog to the location I previously saved the same category of PDF to. For example I have separate folders for invoices, if the PDF is my electricity invoice it somehow knows and opens the electricity folder. If it is a water invoice, it automatically opens the water folder.

Whilst this is indeed quite handy, I do not understand how Firefox is doing this; nor do I understand whether this may be a privacy risk in some circumstances and should therefore be configurable.

When a site asks for my address, I try to choose one from the drop-down menu of addresses offered, but it firstly prints my address in the address window and then, when I press enter or do anything whatever, it deletes everything in the address window. Worse than that, if I try to ignore the dropdown list offered, and try to type in my own address, it deletes it.

This behaviour continues, no matter what I try to do do trick it into either (a) filling in my address, or (b) using the offered addresses in the drop-down menu. I.e. there is nothing I can do to ever get an address to stay in the address window and give me a fully filled out form - the address window always ends up empty.

I've tried to alter the settings, telling it to ignore the automatic filling in and remembering of addresses, but I can't turn this address-killer feature off.

Yes, it's made filling in forms on line impossible, since it keeps making the address-window empty
