Restore old Firefox...how to install backup
I inadvertantly modified my old Firefox with all my settings and needd to restore it. I have the files but do not know how to install them...help
All my bookmarks have been deleted. Can you please restore them? Also the History function isn't working.

Like many people apparently, firefox on most of my gadgets has erased all my bookmarks (including the usual backups). I'm trying to recover with other browsers, but in the meantime, I'm curious about whether there's a succssful way to recover it. Replacing "Bookmarks" with a history of my requests isn't nearly the same thing. ;-)
The updated browser didn't transfer all the information into the new one

Firefox has simply....gone from my PC. I have been using it for years, moved from device to device and have lots of history, favourites, browsing history etc etc...and many passwords stored within it.
I was using it just last night, but today, following a windows update it's just disappeared! When I re-downloaded and signed in none of my settings or passwords have reappeared...this is a bit of a disaster for me, please help!
Firefox updated last night and all of my tabs closed and will no longer open. They've always restored, even when I restarted my computer.

I turned on my computer as usual , then the message about Firefox not being able to turn on because a file was engaged elsewhere (?) then without me pushing any keys my computer cut out and then restated after awhile. when it came back on I tried to follow instructions to restore my Bookmarks to no success. My next step was to change to another email address and received the 6 digget code which brought me to this current page. HELP Please.
