Windows 8.1, Firefox 99.0.2, eMail program part of Microsoft Office365 (deployed by university IT department) Login process worked fine for a month or so after implementation of a 2-level authentication (password plus a second method of user's choice - I chose a USB-flash device which [on request] sends a code for 2nd verification). All of the above still works, except that once logged in, the system asks me if it should remember me, or not (i.e., store a cookie or not, for future convenience). I always click "No". Now, when I do that, I get an error number 500, which is completely non-committal: "Something Went Wrong" - with a long garbage code. (See attachment for sample.) Results of tests to see what's wrong: 1) works fine (able to complete eMail login) under Microsoft Edge; 2) works fine on my laptop, running Windows 8.1 and Firefox 94; 3) on the 'problem' computer (desktop), I uninstalled Firefox 99 and downloaded/installed Firefox 93 - "500" error persisted. Just today: removed Firefox/Mozilla (including all folders/files, and Registry entries) then re-installed version 99. Still doesn't work. Let me know what else you need to know.

I have used Firefox for years with my MSN/Outlook emails. Recently, something has changed that has caused typing emails to a nightmare. As I am typing the "system" is constantly suggesting text and I do not know how to remove that feature. Each time this happens I have to stop and either hit the tab key or fiddle around with the space bar to get past this problem and continue typing what I want to write. Also, as I am replying to an email, the "system" occasionally opens another email document and at the same time moves the email I am trying to respond to. It moves the email, not to trash, but to Archive. I never use the archive feature. How do I fix these problems. Something has obviously gotten changed in "settings" but I cannot figure out where or how to fix. The "suggested text" feature is disasterous and annoying and it has got to be removed somehow. Please help.

properly. A lot of the text comes out in very narrow columns. The problem happens quite often on eBay. Chrome does render it properly. Could you please look into this? Thanks, Jon

I have logged into a new device with Firefox account and am not certain where the bookmarks have been pulled from as they do not match those on my previous device where the account was set to sync.

How do I upload a font I have installed on my computer to firefox? Its already a TFF file (true type) and I've uploaded it to the system. It won't show up on the firefox font dropdown menu though. How do I fix this? PS: I'm no coding expert please keep it simple

My problem is this:

If I click on the open new tab button, and then I keep my cursor there, such that I get the little tooltip "Open a new tab (Ctrl+T)..." , Firefox will stop the address bar from updating---it won't show my keyboard inputs, not will it search, or do anything else. This will resolve itself after I move my cursor away from the open new tab button and the tooltip stops showing, even my inputs will appear there.

This quite annoying, especially when opening a tab to search for something quickly...

Since about a month ago I can't drag a file from a folder to an open email in Firefox. Was always able to, but it stopped a few weeks ago. I read that the new 99.01 version would fix this, I installed it today and the problem persists. What am I missing? Thank you to anyone who reads, cares and replies with solution.

I am a longtime user of Firefox. When I started with it, I was under the (apparently false) belief that the main bookmarks folder was "other bookmarks". Consequently, all of my important bookmarks are contained in this folder. I just bought a new computer from Dell, and I find that I can not import the Other Bookmarks folder into the new computer. What I would like to do is delete the contents of the Bookmarks folder, then transfer the contents of the Other Bookmarks folder into this. I know I can do this one by one, but it will take a LONG time. Is there any way to do this in bulk? Thanks.

When I try to log into chase.com, I'm told my (FireFox) browser is out of date, but I am running the latest version. What can I do?

im afraid to download anything. i should not have to download firefox browser, i have been using this acct for years. i tried to update ccleaner last nite and windows defender caught a trojan but removed it right away all other places i have been were fine today what happened to my firefox and duckduck go etc

A few days ago the Best Buy website started giving me this message:

And yesterday I cannot get into the Walmart website.

This was all working perfectly fine last week. What's up Mozilla??? Oh, and both websites work perfect on Chrome as I had to use them to place my orders because Mozilla decided to all of a sudden make changes...

A recent update to Firefox browser seems to have changed how caching works for websites. I've noticed it mainly with Reddit and their 'random' feature. I can only go to one random sub-reddit and then from that point forward it will only go to that same sub-reddit when I hit the Random link. For instance if I hit random and it takes me to say www.reddit.com/r/Ohio/ then from that point on I only get the Ohio sub-reddit when clicking the Random link. If I clear my cache and reopen Firefox I again get one click on Random and then any further clicks take me to the first, random sub-reddit.

This is not replicated in Microsoft Edge or with Firefox in private windows. I have disabled all of addons to see if one of them was causing this behaviour but it made no change.
