When a firefox window is active on my second display, I lose the firefox menubar on my main display. I haven't noticed this before, is it something new, or have I inadvertently changed a setting?

Hi. I can't access my add-ons that I installed. When I click on the extensions icon it doesn't open that little menu like it does for other people, but it takes me to 'about:addons' in a new tab. I also want to pin my addons to my toolbar which is also not working. Please help me out

It doesn't matter if I add www.youtube.com site to hosts file in Linux and delete cache, Firefox just doesn't block it, bypassing my meassures to prevent me to get hooked up here. It was blocking everything as expected some weeks ago. I also tried redirecting to different IP's and it didn't work.

After some checks, I noticed:

• It happens only with www.youtube.com, it doesn't happen with youtube.com (without www)
• Other common pages like other Google pages, Facebook, TikTok or Instagram, get succesfuly blocked by hosts file as expected
• I have tested creating new profiles with about:profiles, but the issue continues
• The issue started after Firefox Developer Edition version 125.0b1 as you may notice in the images attached.
• I also tested with the latest nigthly version and the issue continues.
• DNS over HTTP (DOH) doesn't seems to be the problem since it seems that my network doesn't met the requirements to enable it, and if I manually make sure it's disabled, the issue still continues.
• Chromium browser blocks www.youtube.com as expected, so that indicates my PC might be correctly configured

Hello, as of recently Firefox got the new tool to highlight text in the native PDF viewer, and I really enjoyed using it. As of today, I had not updated or changed versions, but I suddenly lost access to the highlight tool option. Refreshing the page didn't work, downloading a new PDF and opening it didn't work, restarting Firefox didn't work, and I haven't seen anybody else have this issue.

Firefox Version> Firefox Developer Edition 125.0 Beta 8 (20240403091602) OS> Windows 11

I don't know if this is just an issue due to it being in beta, or it being on beta 7 but not 8, but either way any solution is appreciated!

Hello guys, so in the past 2-3 days i started facing Cross-Origin Request Blocked for a lot of websites lets take chatgpt for example, if i visit it i get:

Content-Security-Policy warnings 2 Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://cdn.oaistatic.com/_next/static/chunks/sso.74deac81d652476b.js?dpl=f90a861ef09abad575887be5d613ce15a4fdb6d9. The resource from “https://cdn.oaistatic.com/_next/static/chunks/sso.74deac81d652476b.js?dpl=f90a861ef09abad575887be5d613ce15a4fdb6d9” was blocked due to MIME type (“text/plain”) mismatch (X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff).

and its getting so annoying that its blocking a lot of websites, i tried chromium it works fine and works awesomely no cors no problems. I even tried to disable the firefox protection, dns over https on/off, change my main dns upstream, installed firefox developer, compete uninstall/reinstall, cache clear from installers and from firefox it self nothing is working. I will provide firefox developer edition troubleshooting information but keep in mind it doesnt work on both firefox normal and developer

Please any help would be appreciate it.

Hello For a few days now, every time I go to youtube the page appears almost completely blank (see screenshot). I've tried disabling all my extensions and go in troubleshoot mode but it still does not work. When I try removing youtube storage from firefox settings "manage cookies and site data" and saving, data of the same size is still there when I open the storage manager again. The only thing that seems to work is going into a private window but since I have to keep signing in each time it is painful especially with google MFA. Please help.

125.0 (64-bit) Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu canonical - 1.0

Video on Facebook plays without sound. The video plays, I see the image normally, but no sound. Video on Youtube works perfectly.

Fresh install without addons or plugins. Switching to "Troubleshoot mode" does not change anything. Youtube with sound, Facebook without sound.

Any ideas where to look?

First time posting here, so I'm hoping that someone can help me out.

I'm encountering a very odd issue on my Macbook Pro running MacOS Sonoma 14.4. I am unable to access two sites – allrecipes.com, and seriouseats.com on my home WiFi network on the Macbook.

These sites work on other browsers (tested on Safari and Chrome), and they also work on my iPhone.

Oddly, when I went to work and tried to access these sites via WiFi using Firefox, I was able to.

I am unsure what the problem is – the ability to access these sites on Safari, Chrome, and my iPhone at home suggests that it's not a network issue. I haven't encountered this issue with any other sites.

when I click on the firefox icon to load it takes me to my home page, but within 20-30 seconds it loads firefox again. it is very frustrating when I.m starting something and firefox loads again taking me back to home page. I have to go down to the bottom and click off the second firefox. I don't know how or why this started. Thanks for any help.

i am setting up a new laptop and trying to import all my current data from my old pc. Nothing is right. It imported alll the shortcuts on my toolbar from years ago. None of these are the current bookmarks from my old pc. ive tried syncing, importing again, nothing works. my bookmarks on my side bar are years old. I dont have ANY of these on my old pc as i deleted them years ago. what the heck is happening and how do i get my new pc browser to look exactly as my old pc looks. This is very frustrating. I have over 500 bookmarks on my sidebar. it looks like every bookmark i have EVER used. This is ridiculous.

Hello. I have a pretty big sprite image i am trying to display on my web page but mozzila wont display it. The sprite is 78016px by 1000px and im cropping it to be 736px by 1000px. Sprite is made out of a png sequence that was made in 3d software, now the thing is when i put in the non rendered verson of images(3D viewport colors) which windows labels as 8bit (maybe because of less colors) it gets displayed, but when i put the rendered version which windows labels as 32bit image it wont get displayed on Mozilla. It gets displayed on Chrome and Edge without any problems. The only difference beetween the images is that the rendered version has a transparent background behind the subject...they are the same sized sprite. I will drop the first frames of the sprite in the images section so you can get a better idea. Also all of the code and images is stored locally.

I have not been able to highlight and copy ~ even prior to the most recent update.

Even using control/ does not work.

After years of accessing www.youtube.com with Firefox with no problem, the website is no longer accessible as of yesterday. When I point my browser to that URL, I get a screen with greyed out video previews, greyed out titles, greyed out account access and a search window that does not do anything. I can access YouTube just fine with Safari. I've cleared my cache. Please advise.

I am trying to access Oracle eBS instance but when I login to the page, I get a notification as shown in the image.

After installing the plug-in and restarting the browser, when I try to run the application, I get the same notification.

Help! I updated and now all my tabs are crashing and I'm on a deadline! I tried to rollback but couldn't find the exe. Here are the last 5 crashes:

Firefox can take screenshots of pages or screenshots of custom areas of pages.

According to the documentation, when we download the image, the filename should follow the pattern: Screen Shot yyy-mm-dd at hh.mm.ss.png. If I use the :screenshot at the console, the pattern works as documented.

But Firefox is using a different pattern when I choose Take Screenshot from the context menu. The pattern includes the page's title. Example: Screenshot 2024-04-14 at 18-35-16 General ‹ Settings ‹ Geomaster Lda — WordPress.png.

Since the page title can have non common filename characters, I have problems with such filenames. My uploads to MediaWiki fails with such filenames. I know I can report or improve MediaWiki, but my question here is quite simple.

Can I change the Firefox's default pattern for Take Screenshot's downloads?
