Cannot access banking website - get page that is all type-written down the left side, credit card site says I need to up date my browser, computer says it is up to date; downloaded and reinstalled firefox - no change i don't know what to do next

Hi there, Trouble is never far away from windows 10, as I had (yet again) to reset my whole notebook and Firefox and cannot recover previous bookmarks, nor the side bar. I am absolutely throttled on this as all seems unresponsive. I have found a copy of old firefox but it won´t swallow it. How can I get out of this situation which catches me out everytime. keep it simple

I don't want tabs i open through middle click to be focused immediately. I checked my settings and they aren't supposed to be doing that based on what I see. How do I get this to stop?

I have an issue related to copying the address from the website. When I try to copy the Location address from the webpage [removed] it does not allow me to copy the address. I have tried many times but it does not allow me to copy the address.

After downloading the latest version of Fire Fox I cannot block email senders, delete email, or search thru my email account. I can't send a screen shot as nothing shows. There is no error message. It is just that I cannot use my Yahoo email account like I could before the download so I have had to use Chrome with my Yahoo email in order to function. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to fix things? Thank you.

I returned from holiday yesterday and could not access any of the favourite sites on my homepage. Only the outline of each tile is present on screen, but the rest of the tiles are empty and nothing happens when you click them. I have checked the settings and can change the number of rows of blank tiles shown, but not add any content. What could have happened? I was not there to make any changes to my system.

i have a problem with Rightmove.co.uk webpages. On the webpage where you can see house plans, I zoom into the plan, and the plan just cannot be moved anymore and zoomed as well. I entered Firefox in troubleshooting mode without any extensions enabled and the same issue happened still. I tested the Brave and Chrome, no problems there. I tested Firefox latest version and also the ESR version, both had the same issue. Until a few days ago, the site dailykos.com worked relatively normally. (By normally, I mean that the body of each article, including links and some of the embedded videos/photos were there and could be read. The comments and some of the pictures have never loaded. I thought it might be due to my privacy settings or extensions, but those weren't that important to me, and I never tried to fix that.) Now the site's pages are blank except for the title (see screenshot). The site loads normally in Safari on my iMac, and in the latest version of Firefox on my wife's MacBook Pro. I've compared the settings between her copy of Firefox and mine, and I can't see any significant differences. (We are both still using MacOS Catalina, but plan to upgrade to Monterey very soon.)

Things I've tried that didn't work include restarting both Firefox and my Mac, clearing my cache (it was zero bytes, but I clicked "Clear" anyway), deleting all cookies, including any for Daily Kos, except for a few cookies I need to keep, disabling all my extensions (see photo) and turning off enhanced tracking protection for the site. After these actions, I restarted Firefox, but the DK pages are still empty. An Internet search found only a few articles about similar but not identical problems from several years ago to January 2022. A search of the Mozilla returned zero results.

I should mention that I -think- this started after one of the last two Firefox updates. I'm using version 105.0. I'm fresh out of ideas, and I'd appreciate any help the community or developers can give me. Thank you very much. - Don

On 10/16 I reported here a corrupt session file that broke Firefox. Finally resolved for the most part.

Firefox sync sessions?

Today, I launched Firefox 106, and all my pinned tabs were missing, on several differently customized profiles with the same session.

I reverted back to Firefox 105.03, and the pinned tabs on all those tested profiles reappeared.

Can somebody check this out? It may be a coincidence, but this is too close for comfort.

But no definitive answer. And my feature request still remains for a history of sent tabs.

Dear Mozilla Team,

during the recent weeks I was away from my main PC and primarily used my iphone to browse the web. Every now and then I sent a link to the PC using Safari's share and the integrated send to function of Firefox for iOS. This usually worked really well, even when my PC was powered off. When I got back home and started my PC, sync would take forever, but was then interupted and all further tries to sync (hoping to get those tabs eventually) failed.

My question is if there is a log file of all those links that are sent to different devices? I believe there has to be one given that Mozilla's servers are being used and tabs (usually) arrive on powered-off devices following a request to the server.

If there is, please tell me how to access it/send it to me. If there is not, please take this as a feature request (a sent links history being gathered locally as part of the wider Firefox profile maybe and as a viewable list of all shared tabs for all devices so that tabs can still be sent to single devices but also accessed from others, similar to how tabs can be accessed from all synced devices).

I appreciate the quick reply from your support staff yesterday. I followed instructions and was able to turn off the GIFs but FOR ONLY ONE TIME. As soon as I exited Firefox, or even the current page and returned to it they were back on. How do I keep them off permanently?

Hello, I need help, it is not possible to open Firefox. After opening, the window closes itself again, a new profile was created, but the problem is still there. I am very unhappy about this. I didn't load a new extension, didn't use new antivirus software. Firefox has already been uninstalled and reinstalled. The problem is not solved. I've also cleaned Firefox a few times, but the problem still persists. There are no crash reports as Firefox just closes and doesn't crash. I can start safe mode. I am sending the Troubleshooting information.

I don't know what this is, what it's called, or why the someone in your UI/UX team continues to think that it's a good idea to change the keyboard navigation in the browser with all these new, special, or whatever controls that are ultimately useless.

How do I turn this off?

when i open a new tab i want it to go to https://uk.yahoo.com/. how can i achieve this please, as loosing the will to live. Many Thanks Steve

When signing in to my Barclays On Line account,the 2nd page of the sequence is distorted such that one vital box can only be seen my reducing the page to 65%. This happens on two PC's both are using Firefox. Browsing with Edge gives no problem! One PC is running win 10 the other Win11 - both have Norton 360 AV. Is this a FF or Barclays problem?
