I am running Apple OS High Sierra, 10.13.6 on an older iMac Mid 2011. My Preferences have always been set, or checked, General_Tabs "Open links in Tabs instead of NEW Window."

The result is a Firefox screen full of Single Windows with Single Tabs. Some Windows I may continue to add Tabs to but most of the time I copy the link from the NEW Window and paste the link on the older Window. If I am in a hurry the result will be many many Opened NEW Windows with one or two NEW Tabs. See attachments. This has been going on for at least 6 months now.

Note your checkbox titled "Email me when someone answers the thread" does not work but please email me at "[email removed from public]".

I have twice come across a glitch on the Firefox version of tumblr. The notifications will remain entirely static, regardless of how many items are in my dash or how many people have interacted with my posts. I am sure this is a Firefox issue as logging onto Google Chrome removes this issue entirely. I have temporarily removed cookies and passwords for tumblr, but the issue has not improved.

when I open a page it transfer to another page that is written:

Dear Firefox user, You are today’s lucky visitor for: July 24, 2022 Please complete this short survey and to say “Thank You” we’ll give you a chance to get an Apple iPhone 11 Pro!"

And I can't open the page that I want, and this sometimes happen and sometimes not, what should I do.

After the last Firefox update, i am trying to open youtube.com in my Firefox browser but it's not letting me to do it. Every time i open it shows an error and says that the error is from YOUTUBE and FIREFOX or I can do nothing about it. But the funny part is its working on other browsers like chrome.

Why can't I get on viewmyaccount.com?It is for a financial service lpl finance. I was told not to go to viewmyaccountlpl.com.but to stay with viewmyaccount,com only.

I participate in a number of different surveys. Using Firefox. Only one of the surveys has become inaccessible on Firefox while I can still access it using Google. What has happened?

Over the past several days I've developed a problem where Firefox uncontrollably scrolls as posts are added while on Facebook. I've turned off smooth scrolling, etc. and it happens while Firefox is in troubleshoot mode. It appears others are experiencing this but so far I haven't found a solution. Hey, I just installed windows + firefox on a new computer recently. The first time I tried to print a pdf from this computer via firefox (as windows does not allow pdf printing by default) and the print preview pops up with the loading symbol and just... never loads. Ever. I tried to switch to the default system dialogue via about:config and print.prefer_system_dialogue and setting it to true, but when I did that firefox just crashed every time I tried to print. I'd appreciate any help, as everything online in regards to this issue doesn't seem to help me at all.

I am constantly annoyed by the ever present "notification" to update Firefox to the latest version. There is no easy way to get rid of the nagging notice. PLEASE NOTE ::: I DID DOWNLOAD AND UPDATE MY PC TO THE NEWEST VERSION WHICH DID NOT LIKE AT ALL !!!!

So, I returned to the latest version I had been using and all is well. EXCEPT : I AM CONSTANTLY NAGGED TO UPDATE. WHICH I DID, DID NOT LIKE, AND DO NOT PLAN T DO IT AGAIN.

You need to add an option for user like me who have done what you asked and did not care for the result. IF YOU THINK PEOPLE WILL LEAVE, PERHAPS YOU ARE RIGHT ... IF YOU GIVE THEM THAT CHOICE. I PREFER TO SEE THE CHOICE TO KEEP WHAT i HAVE AND NOT GIVE IN TO THE LATEST WHIM. So, if your product is so good, why not let us decide to stay with the version we are using and not be nagged into a new one we will not like. Hello, I love using firefox but I tend to open many tabs. I close them often but I noticed in taskmanager that closed tabs were continuing to use RAM. How can I disable this from happening. (I read a few articles mentioning about:memory about:performance ??? I'm not an expert but I don't mind doing it manually) Thanks

I updated to macos Monterey yesterday and I guess I guess I also my firefox updated to 102.0.1 (64-bit)... Anyway, I was very much used to have a white background in firefox's built-in pdf viewer when viewing pdfs that really have a white background (for example if you download it and check it with Adobe reader, or any reader other than the viewer built-in the browser).

Now the background color is gray, and it's not convenient for me at all. I could not find the magic setting that allow to changing this behaviour... I do not use themes, so I do not mind changing something there if needed.

Could any guru help here please ? That would be much appreciated.

Hi all, I'm having a lot of problems with Firefox crashing pretty often. Sometimes once or twice a day.

I most often see crashes in the middle of a Webex video conference for work. But Firefox sometimes goes down in other situations that I see no pattern in.

This is Ubuntu 20.04, Firefox 102.0. Unfortunately, it's a complex environment to debug.

First, when firefox goes down, it rarely leaves a crash report behind. So I'm not getting any direct evidence as to what is happening. Second, I run with uBlock active and it is very difficult to function in the browser without long enough for the crash to happen. Third, I typically have several hundred tabs open. I have a lot of memory (64G) in my machine, and the machine doesn't act like it's swapping, so I don't think I'm running out of memory.

Any help getting to the bottom of what's going on is welcome.

Yahoo mail is the only site on my browser that doesn't work. It opens and loads and you can open an email but you can't do anything with it. You can't look at attachments, delete, move, star, or anything. I've reloaded yahoo, created a new password and signed back in, closed Firefox and opened back up, restarted my laptop and opened back up, cleared cache - NOTHING WORKS. It works just fine on Chrome and my phone. I noticed that yahoo mail url is the only one that has a cross site cookie symbol. But when I take it out, it still doesn't work. I am beyond annoyed.

it has been crashing on a regular basis for sometime,(once, twice, three times a week ) no symptom, no indication, never have more than 2 windows going, wtf I'm going to chrome or wherever, if I do not get support

I was watching a show on one of my streaming websites and it it in a shorter box instead of a full screen. im not sure if i accidentally clickec on something because it is happening on more then one streaming site

I am sorry, I recently said that buttons to open the profile directory were missing.

I was wrong.

But when you look at the screen where it is described and then you see the screen as I see it - with DARK THEME set you can see how/why I could easily miss seeing the button.

I feel there needs to be better ... separation (?) between the text and button. It is a lot easier to see in the light/default theme.
