I'm experiencing some trouble on the website Chesstempo. I can't acces some of the functionalities on the site and I can't log out off the site.

I think a resent Firefox update might have changed somethings in regard to browser history and cookies?

My problem: Firefox won't delete cookies and browser history. I did a reset and when that didn't work I had to manually delete sqlite and json files. That worked!.....but I'm still experiencing problems on Chesstempo.

I'm on old hardware here, so the problem could be on my end, but Chesstempo worked fine until recently. Obviously Chesstempo have to have the abillity to set and read cookies to track my activity properly.

Other competing products work fine here?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Espacenet, a patent site, says I can't download patents into my Firefox unless Firefox is setup to accept cookies from their site. How do I do that? I have version 78.0.a (x64 en us). Thank you, Joe Mangino Jr. joe.mangino.jr@gmail.com

Hello, we previously use firefox ESR version 68.0.1 to view outlook messages via OWA, there was no problem reading the messages,when you double click on it the message was displayed on another tab, Since my update to version 78.0.1 ESR, we can no longer develop the messages on OWA which displays a blank page. We have already tried to empty the browser cache, or even by adding an exception for cookies from "outlook.office.com" Can you help us ? thank you in advance

I am using Multi-Account Containers, and am unclear on how it interacts with the other cookie and storage management features of the browser. If I clear cookies from Preferences -> Privacy & Security -> Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data, does that clear all cookies in all containers, or just in "No Container"? Is there a way to delete/manage cookies within just a single container? Is there a way to delete/manage cookies for just "No Container"? Is there a plugin to help with this, or a manual means of editing cookies (editing text file or sqlite database)?

I am submitting to you a problem that only appears with your browser and not with Chrome.

When I connect to my portal, Orange in this case, I always have this banner (see the print sceen attached) which appears each time either by opening my inbox on each of the messages, or by consulting different subjects presented by the home page.

In vain I answer that I accept or refuse, it works on a few selection clicks then the banner reappears!

It's very very annoying

So I switch to Chrome and I don't have this pb so I conclude that it comes from Firefox!

I am retired from IT with 50 years in the business and I do not understand this bug.

Could you delete this permanent alert, especially since it has only appeared for a very few years.

Of course I could do without Firefox and use Chrome as my default browser, but I prefer Mozilla to Google.

I keep getting this when I go to Facebook page (only started a week or so ago).

The page isn't redirecting properly

I read instructions on clearing cookies and cache. Question, If I check the box to clear the cache, which your instructions said will require websites to reload images and data, will I lose all my photographs that are on several websites such as twitter and pinterest?

I have Firefox set to disable cookies. Yet, websites often say that by using their sites, I'm agreeing to the use of cookies. It's unclear to me if by continuing on their sites, I'm thereby temporarily turning my "disable cookies" Firebox function off. Here is a screenshot I took of what I see when I use "storage inspector" under "web developer" menu while I'm on Firefox and I visit one of these websites that says by being there I'm agreeing to the use of cookies. Please tell me ... in this case are cookies being used? I don't know how to interpret what I'm seeing on "storage inspector." I don't know what the lines, rows and the values in them represent. I am very keen to avoid cookies being stored on my computer and have checked the box that says "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed". I have no "Exceptions". I also have "Strict" tracking protection - again, with no Exceptions. Yet when I open a particular bookmarked website (www.bikemap.net), Firefox displays the page showing the bike route from my street to my friend's house that I looked at weeks ago. This even happens when I open the site in a New Private Window. I am baffled as to why this is happening and what I need to do to stop it. Can you help, please? Thanks.

It is possible to clear all the cookies from a website in Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox In my case, I would like to clear only authentication cookies (to be automatically disconnected when I close Firefox) but I want to keep the other cookies about my preferences. However, I can select on which websites I want to clear my cookies but I can't select which ones.

Is there a way to select the list of cookies I want to keep/clear for each websites?

I use Firefox for many years. Firefox is always synced and I use "Firefox master password".

The problem is that every time I try to sign in my account I see this message: "This account is not active. Please contact an administrator if you believe this is an error. " This message is looks like mozilla's prank, because someone needs to sign in first to get help! As I try to get help, "support mozilla" is drive me to an endless loop in Mozilla.org.

After several minutes (I think about 15minutes) I don't know why and how but I'm in! This is happened every time I try to sign in my account!

Why is so much time consuming and frustrating the way to sign in? What it means "This account is not active." and why don't given a reason why this happens or/and a way to fix? Why I can't just type the UN/Pass to sign in?

Under "Cookies and Site Data," "Clear Data" also removes the exceptions to "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed." That's a contradiction, and basically it becomes a waste of time to enter the exceptions. That's what exceptions are -- the rule "exepts" them. It would be nice if Firefox could fix this (unless there is already a work-around for it). FWIW. Thanks.

This is going on for the last 5 days or so days. It seems to happen on a fixed schedule. Everyday on a specific time I will get logged out of google,gmail,youtube,facebook,reddit and have to re-accept cookies. I am not sure why this is happening but it is very annoying.

http://www.websudoku.com/ is losing cookies (options selected and level of Sudoku). This has worked in past. Additional info. If I leave page and select Sudoku page again - cookies are gone. It is not a matter of closing my browser or even my tab.

I can't log in to tmall.com. It keeps saying 3rd party cookies are blocked, although I've already loosened the settings to allow almost everything.

As a result, I can't log in to tmall.com.

I would like to check which cookies are set and what content they have stored. Therefore, it is not enough for me to see which provider has stored cookies, by looking at "Settings" -> "Privacy". As far as I know these are stored in the file cookies.sqlite. Is there a way to look directly into this file? Firefox should automatically delete all cookies on exit. Nevertheless this file is 1.5 MB in size. Or is there another way to check the cookies? Thanks in advance. Matthias

I noticed today when I opened a new private window and pasted a URL into the address bar, the website seemed to know that I had been there before. So I closed the window, opened up a new private window, turned on the network tool, and tried again. What I saw was on the very first network request, Firefox sent half a dozen cookies to the website!

What's going on here? Does the private browsing session not end when I close the window? Is it supposed to?
