Artifacts on webpages when hardware acceleration is enabled. Disabling hw acceleration removes artifacts, but degrades performance of browser significantly. Using hw acceleration in Chrome has no artifacts. The error is not in the hardware or driver, but in the Mozilla software. By searching on this topic on Google, it's a common error in Firefox.

Hi all, Each time I open the browser Firefox opens in Turkish (most probably based on my location, I tried to change it but it did not accept) Then I have to switch manually or open my Google account. In settings I chose everywhere English like search results, but I goes back to basic. I dont want to see the search results in Turkish and I dont want to see the Turkish websites. Also when I write an email in English it checks against Turkish, so no help. I dont have the same problem with google products in Chrome ( the native browser) So I assume that the problem is with Firefox. I did not install anything in Turkish (I even do not use Turkish keyboard) Do I need to install English dictionary?? when I click to change the English manually each time, then it switches, but goes back to Turkish again. It is annoying, that is why I keep using Chrome. Can you pls help

For the past two days, I am unable to log on to my iCloud account through a Firefox Browser. I've tried to do so on two different computers which have accessed iCloud through Firefox many, many times. However, I have no problem logging on to my iCloud account using an Edge Browser.

When I try to log on to my iCloud account using Firefox after entering my user name and password, I receive the two factor authentication from iCloud on my iPhone. However at this point, iCloud immediately gives me an error message (screen shot attached), and I am unable to enter the authentication code. I can only return to the log on page.

Since this problem occurs using Firefox on two different computers, but I have no problem accessing iCloud using a different browser, I have to assume this is a Firefox issue, but I do not see that this is a systemic problem. Any suggestions? I hate using Edge for anything, but I am on iCloud.com a lot, so this is inconvenient.

in chrome when you drag a tab out to open it in another window it automatically goes to a smaller window, firefox always copys what size the window was when you dragged it out. so when the window is maximised it will always open a new maximised window.

So my question is, when dragging a tab to open it in a new window is there a way to stop it from copying the size of the window you dragged it?

Prior to updating to Windows 11 I was able to specify the bookmark folder that I wanted to save the bookmark in when I pressed "Bookmark Current Tab" or "Ctrl-D". Now it automatically saves the bookmark in the "Other Bookmarks" folder instead of allowing me to save it in my desired folder? I then have to find the saved bookmark and manually move it to the desired folder. Is there a fix for this or is this a permanent feature change? Thanks for your help.

The Add-ons Manager tab is automatically presented as one of the tabs when I start Mozilla. How do I configure Mozilla so that the Add-ons Manager tab is not presented?

My organization uses SharePoint Online. On our home page, we're using all native Microsoft web parts, and we're not pulling anything in (to our knowledge) from third parties. It's all content being pulled from resources in our in SharePoint Online environment.

When Firefox users go to our home page, it refreshes every few seconds. Sometimes 2-3 times and then it settles, but sometimes it's indefinitely and you just end up closing the browser. Microsoft had me run a trace and they told me that they found some weirdness with "Cloudflare" causing Firefox to load over and over. As far as I know, my organization doesn't do anything with Cloudflare. They couldn't really give me much else to go on. I'd never even heard of Cloudflare before this.

Does this sound legit or, is Microsoft passing the buck?

We are seeing this issue with multiple users, including myself. It ONLY happens with Firefox.

HI, I use Firefox for Kiosk system... what is not usable for this application is Firefox sending popups to remind the user of ie. "do not forget to save your data" or similar... this breaks the kiosk system and needs Admin intervention... I love FF, but how can I suppress these support popups in this environment?

My firefox suddenly stops working, it crashes on every tab I open.

I tried the troubleshoot mode (safe mode), tried refreshing firefox, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, tried cleaning the firefox folder and registry manually and then restart, ... everything that I could find on web, it just keeps crashing.

In "about:crashes" tab, it shows nothing, so I dont know what I can provide for diagnosis.

I make frequent use of the Windows system-level keyboard shortcut Windows Logo button + M to go directly to the Windows desktop. Firefox does not respond to this keyboard shortcut by minimizing. How can I fix this? I already tried refreshing Firefox. This is a big enough issue to get me to abandon the browser, since I depend on keyboard shortcuts.

I play diggy's adventure when I select full screen the game stays the same size but at the top of the screen the bottom half is black, I tried on a different browser and it works ok.

I searched Microsoft forum and opened the first link (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us). On Firefox, Go back one page (back arrow) button was not working on this website.

I am using Firefox on a new PC. Whenever I type something into the address bar, all results appear under a small Firefox Suggest header, even though Firefox Suggest is not available to me in the United Kingdom. I believe it is possible to remove this header through about:config, and I did so on my old PC shortly after FIrefox Suggest was released in 2021, although I have long forgotten how to do this for obvious reasons. Could somebody please explain how this header can once again be removed, or is it a permanent feature? Thank you in advance.

Recently, I've found I cannot successfully submit a superchat donation on Youtube while using Firefox. I was successful using Edge browser. Firefox asks to confirm the card number I'm using to chat, but then once acknowledged, the screen stays grey/white and doesn't ever clear to process the chat.

After I installed it the userChrom and userContent css files have been updated and the result was that the browser header has been changed but the homepage/newtab's UI hasn't been updated. I enabled toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets option in the about:config section. Did somebody have similar issue?

I keep being told on certain websites to turn off my ad blocker. I don't have one. I don't even have one in the Extensions that's disabled. I have no idea how to get past this. What's turned on that I don't know about?

This is the message I get. "Please unblock challenges.cloudflare.com to proceed." I can do nothing.

Things I've tried. Adding exceptions in the privacy settings in 2 seperate areas. Resetting Browser deafults. Turning off all vpn's and addons.

Nothing works.

On Firefox, the search function of a specific website fails to search the database or function properly. When I clear cookies/cache, it works. But after the page follows the query and refreshes, it stops working. On other web browsers it works fine. More interestingly, it works fine on another computer where I use Firefox.
