I am rather old. I picked up Mozilla when it was on X 10. I do not have a complaint. Only dark mode. I had cataract surgeries, the plastic lenses now have cataracts too. Really! The WHITE screen is painful.

But, Firefox seems to work, and it works well. It is well organized, methodical, nothing to complain about. Yes, I am recognizing the spell checker. Yes, I am ranting. Yes, I am done!

Vs 117.0, installed this morning, will not "continue to spotify", during the login process to the spotify desktop app. All had been working perfectly over the past few months until today. Was able to connect to spotify thru Chrome, but something get changed/broke in the new firefox v117.0 (64 bit), Win 10.

why was basic functionality removed. that dropdown menu is the most practical method of navigating my tabs, to say nothing of the quickest way to determine which one is making noise.

how do I get this basic feature back

the toolbar and tab bar are on the same line

and when i go to enter a site in the address bar the hanging results are shifted up i cant get to the top ones

i have a userChrome file

I would really like to be able to use Reader View for saving web pages that I need to keep for my PhD research, but switching to Reader View seems to switch off my Evernote web clipper. Is there a way round this please?

I am trying to set up a Shopify page. It was working fine until today. The page is now redirecting me to the sign in page every time I attempt an action. Shopify support says that they were able to perform these actions on my account from their end. Also, I was able to complete the tasks from Microsoft Edge. Any suggestions.

Hello, my firefox browser was updated and all of my tabs, pinned tabs, extensions, paswords, absolutely everything is gone. I signed into my account but that doesn't seem to be helping. I would like to restore all of my old data, what should I do ?

Firefox effectively crashes every time they roll out an update. This has been going on for years and every option in the UI that seems to affect this behavior actually does nothing. The only solution seems to be writing some kind of JSON policy file that prevents automatic updates entirely. Why has this massive defect been present so long and why isn't the company interested in fixing it?

Good Evening, I believe I have DuckDuckGo as my current search engine but would like to add "Startpage" as the search engine I use (the URL is https://www.startpage.com/search/?q=%s ).

Can someone help me add this so I have Startpage vs. DuckDuckGo please?

Youtube isn't showing anything anymore (thumbnails, comments, etc.) when uBlock is active. Only when uBlock is deactivated (either only for this website or entirely) Youtube works again.

Any sort of fix or workaround for the issue would be great, as it's incredibly annoying and even stays visible when watching a video in fullscreen. Reporting it as a bug might be more appropriate but I can't be bothered to make a Bugzilla account just for that.

I have both the standard address window, and a separate search window. When I type a www.XXX.com into the ADDRESS window, I expect to go there. Instead, I get a google search! WTF?!

火狐在使用VPN的过程中会突然断网，说断网也不准确，准确的说是会突然加载不出页面，或者要等非常久才会突然加载出来，那种加载出来的感觉不是网速慢一点一点加载出来，而像是一直没网，突然有网了一下子加载出来的样子。 例如图一就是断网时的状态，网页一直加载不出来，但是其实电脑是有网的，看左下角的网速就知道了。

一般面对这种情况，需要将浏览器退出，然后重新打开就又能进入网页了，所以说明也不是网站本身的问题。

被这个问题困扰了很久，一直不知道该怎么解决，有没有懂行的老哥帮忙看一下？
