Hi,

I recently added ESET Password Manager as an extension but I was unable to log on and use it on my laptop. In a nutshell, to be able to log on and use the extension, I needed to install the app on my phone as well and sync between laptop and phone did the rest. This solved the login issue however, there is no icon on the toolbar for the extension and if I want to use the Password Manager, I have to do it on my phone.

Any ideas on how this could be solved? I have reinstalled the extension numerous times, tried troubleshooting mode as well but that is not useful with add-ons..

Hello, Firefox always downloads a pdf files from e-mail attachments, whether I open it in a browser or with acrobat reader. So, if I open the same file every time it goes to download folder with multiple clones, like example file-1, example file-2 etc. I've used every combination of options, but the result is always the same. I've refreshed Firefox, but nothing changed.

Please help me with this case.

I have Windows 11 with Edge - I use Firefox link to duckduckgo. Duckduckgo blocks some actions as not have access and they are more difficult to track. But I am increassing unable to say go to windows in microsoft 365 in 11 ? what do I need to get this working as I need it . I am willing to change back to Firefox - but I have know interest in using goggle - I have been hacked several tiems through that browser. my email is [edited] @thecrawfords.com - I have my own domain. and more resectly it getting block as not valid when I respond to answer a question. Your thoughts on how to fix.

I don't like Firefox videos showing up in my media player controls, so I turned off media.hardwarekeys.enabled, but it doesn't seem to do anything anymore. I'm pretty sure it used to work at some point, don't know when it stopped working. Even though I have it turned off, videos still appears in the Media Player on my panel, and I can play and pause them with the play/pause button on my keyboard. I have also tried disabling dom.media.mediasession.enabled, but that doesn't help either.

I have set .pdf files to be opened in firefox, not download and browser is still opening those in new tab and also downloading those. What could cause this problem?

As of version 113, this solution is being suppressed. I occasionally see the x appear briefly on the left when a tab is selected, but then it reverts. So far I have not been able to work out what setting is overriding this function, so I've just rolled back to 112 and used the "--allow-downgrade" flag on the firefox shortcut so I can still load my old profile, but understand this is not a safe option in the long term.

Hi, I'm not sure if I just cant find the setting or if this is a feature request. I'm using the Firefox Developer edition, and I during web development I often deal with many query Params in the URL. Is there a way to have a long URL be displayed in multiple lines, or even better, one line per query parameter?

I am trying to understand if there is a way to customize the tab rearranging behaviour.

In particular, the thing I find very unpractical is that, after a tab is closed, the others do rearrange, but after the mouse goes out of the tab bar. This is particularly annoying when I have to close multiple tabs, since thanks to this behaviour, the tabs which I close after the first one are always the unintended ones.

The solution would be to let the tab rearrangement happen instantly after the closure of the tab. In my opinion even without animations, I do not really care about that.

If you have any suggestions let me know.

after the latest round of updates, my extension tabs (upper right) for approved and secured extensions has vanished. there is one in particular that I want in the extension area (see image 1)

I found them tucked away in another tab (upper right corner) the jigsaw puzzle piece.

is there a way to put the extensions that I want back on the extension area (upper right corner of browser window)? (see image 2)

Each time I start my computer and launch FireFox I am greeted with the "Welcome" page as if it was the first time I launch it. My extensions do not load and I have to manually turn them off and on again for them to load properly. The permissions I gave them previously need to be reconfirmed.

It's as if FireFox doesn't remember me at all. It wouldn't be that problematic if not for the issue with the extensions.

I've searched far and wide and couldn't find any solution to my problem. If anyone has any tip I'd be grateful, I already forgot half of what I've already tried but I'll let you know.

Video download helper is installed but icon is missing from toolbar and cannot be found where I'm told to look when I google the problem (i.e., view/toolbars/customize). Nor can I drag it to the toolbar from where I find it when I look under triple bar/addons and themes in the upper right corner of the toolbar. Where else should I look to find it?

I loved Firebug and really miss it a lot. The one thing I have a had time with and having to "type manually" is when I select and element in Dev Tools related to CSS. When an element is highlighted and I click the + sign, it does not present the exact CSS code. See screenshot.

In Firebug, I could click that and the + sign and that same exact code would appear on the right. But it does not. It's some modified version and I always have to update the code.

If there something? Also, in Firebug, I could right click that element at the bottom and copy it. I cannot do that. It doesn't allow me to copy it.

This is really slowing me down and I don't like to use a lot of add-ons in the browsers. Thanks in advance.

Citibank site does not allow my accounts to be shown(uploaded with my access field of ID and Password.... and always impossible to log in because it does not recognize my correct information as correct and sees it as false information...therefore does not recognize my ID and password and I am blocked out..

Also old information may not be deleted properly and causes confusion so site needs to be cleared of old useless information.

Hi: Is the World Wide Radio add-on a Mozilla approved, supported add-on ? I can find no way to address comments with them, nor seek support. All that said, I've grown to adore Mozilla's products even though I'm a newbie with all things digital; thanks so much. I am disabled and limited to disability income only; as such I can never afford to support monetarily to my satisfaction.. it is what it is. I do so appreciate the work done by so many contributors. I find that I do need more support to feel comfortable and proficient with all the Mozilla products. Currently I use the Firefox browser and add-ons / and Thunderbird as an email client. One of the main reasons I use Firefox is the ability to enter the address bar and press "Tab" to go to the next option instead of pressing the down arrow like in some other browsers. The problem I'm encountering is when I want to get to something further down the list, it's all of the sudden tabbing to this little 3 dot menu that has "Remove from history" and "Learn More".

I use this feature a lot to visit past pages for researching, so I'm wondering is this 3 dot menu new? Is there a way to disable it? I've attached a screenshot to hopefully more clearly describe what I'm talking about.

I've just noticed whilst writing a blog on wordpress that my firefox built in spellchecker is no longer working. It no longer works on wordpress. It no longer works on any other page, including this one. Here is an example sdhflakshfldfjl - included in the files below. Thanks in advance.
