PSA:

The snap version of Firefox (as implemented in Ubuntu Desktop 22.04) will not open a Zoom meeting link.

The alternatives are: - Google Chrome, etc. - Borrow a Windows machine and log into your meeting there.

What a disaster.

I no longer have the option to watch BBC iPlayer as a picture in picture. The toggle switch has disappeared. I've tried hovering over various places on screen, but nothing appears. I've also tried right clicking to check it's not 'hidden', but it appears to have gone altogether.

I've checked and I have a least version 75 of Firefox (that BBC say I should have) and that the box is ticked in the browsing settings to enable P-in-P. Other streaming apps work (eg Discovery+ and YouTube etc).

Not sure is this is a Firefox issue or BBC iPlayer issue.

When I watch a video, mostly in Netflix, and go to the fullscreen mode, I see a url line on the bottom left corner of my screen. It doesn't go away when I click the screen. When I try to click over it it switches to the right bottom corner, which I find quite frustrating. Whenever, this happens I should refresh the page and hope that it solves my problem and most of the times it does. However, I still would be quite happy if I figured out what caused this problem and if there is anything I can do it to fix it for good.

Firefox version: 100.0.2 (64-Bit) Windows Version: Windows 11 Pro 21H2.

moz back up says my profile is corrupted. my emall works in every way, but when try to use moz back u to make a back up it says my profile is corrupted . Can someone tell me how to fix this ? Or can someone tell what I can do that is better ?HELP!!!!!!!!

Hi there! Well, another company told my business partner that their product does not like Firefox so we should use Chrome and maybe Edge. First, that is a crock, but seems to be a standard answer from anyone in the business world, sadly. I would not trust Edge or Chrome, especially those two, if they were the last platforms on earth. So, help pretty please?

Is there a setting that we can use that will assist in using RSMeans Online Version so it will work more effectively? Whenever we get an error message or it just won't open, they blame it on Firefox.

I tried printing in FIREFOX while using PDF and receipts from Amazon and HP. each time the fonts are HUGE, but not if I use Chrome or Edge. Tried your suggestions and that didn't help. I see another user has had the same exact issue with no avail. I'd really like to get this issued fixed. I like FIREFOX and want to use it whenever possible, but being unable to print makes it a problem. I would appreciate a real solution. Thank you in advance, Alan.

Every day I am interrupted by McAfee with daily notifications across my screen saying they have detected a virus and to sign up with them. I have NEVER been a customer of McAfee and would like these nuisances to stop. Is there a way I can ban them from my pc. Thank you.

Please turn off the download drop down menu that appears every time I do a download...if you cant do that then give your users the option of turning it off or on...

I refreshed Firefox and all my passwords disapeared even though it stated they would be saved. I followed online instructions and copied and pasted the old data into the new profile. Although I can see the old login data is there nothing shows up in the saved passwords section in settings. HELP! all my passwords are badly required as I have no other record.

gmail page initially loads in firefox and then doesn't get updated at all. Upon trying to refresh it just gets stuck at Google workspace initialization section. After that under new tab, google.com also doesn't work. Please fix this.

Hey! I think to migrate from Vivaldi but only couple of things stops me. I used to split some tabs in one screen there and looks like I can't find any good addons for that. There is one addon Tile Tabs WE but it is not what I need, I want to tabs be still along other tabs, I can detach them and place on my screen by myself without such addons but that's uncomfortable to use.

I'm having a problem related to an extension that I have to use to consult legal processes in my country (there is no other way, the extension is widely used and is a requirement, I've always used it). Not too long ago this browser started having problems with the extension that hurt my company like hell, this is our last attempt to continue using this browser.

My shortcut display had frequently visited websites shown and these have been replaced by several sponsored shortcuts I am not interested in. Plus, my saved user names and passwords are not loading even though they are still stored. I don't understand what happened, why these have changed, or how to restore what I previously had on shortcuts. I am not a tech savvy person and am stumped and looking for help

Hi, current version is 100.0.2. Running on Win 10 (10.0.19044 build 19044). Have refreshed Firefox and also tried a clean install - problem still exists. Have done a scan using HouseCall - no gremlins found. For the last few weeks my browser has been playing up. After a few minutes pages would basically stop loading, clicking on a new link would open a new window but nothing would load. Disabled my Ad Blocker extensions (I had two) and issue resolved itself. Re-enabled Ad blocker (AdGuard AdBlocker) and problem returned. Disabled it, problem went, tried Ghostery (not used before), issue returned. Both extensions are recommended. Similar issue exists on my work computer - one ad blocker and after a few site visits pages no longer load, and links no longer react to a click, home button no longer works. I close and open and I get told firefox is already running and do I want to close it before opening again. Pretty sure it's not just my home computer. Any help would be welcomed.

Over the last year or so, I've had to switch to Chrome to load some pages properly. reCAPTCHA is proving to be a particular problem - which I'm told is powered by Google? I could be blocking Google content too much within my Firefox browser?

My wife is a long-term Chrome fan and says, "I don't know why you bother with Firefox, Chrome is much better", but I rebuke and say, "No! It's been great over the years, I've been using it since 2003".

Do I need to change my settings somewhere? At times certain pages don't load - it'll say 'Click Verify; or something similar and the 'Verify' button doesn't appear - I load the same page in Chrome, and boom, it's all there.

Am I doing something wrong with Firefox? I have version 100.0.2 (64-bit). Or is it time to give in to the mighty Google and go to Chrome after loyally using Firefox/Mozilla since 2003? (A daft thing to ask on a Firefox forum, I know!).
