For the last few months YouTube appears to have broken CSS and text in multi-line blocks is broken and overlaps. I'd guess this is only for text that auto line wraps. The example screenshot is of a pseudo dialog but the problem is everywhere on multi-line text in YouTube.

Hello, I've got a reproduction issue on France TV live programs which I watch through nordvpn. The picture keeps "jumping" fast up and down in a very bothering way. This doesn't happen when the video is NOT live. I run the latest version of LINUX MINT. What can I do to fix it? The only way I found to stop the issue is to take down the resolution of the live video to its minimum which gives me a disastrous picture but stops the "jumping". I guess you might say there is something wrong with my GPU. The point is that my PC is brand new with an AMD 5600G, new MB, 16Gb of RAM and 500w of PSU. BUT more than anything I have to say that everything WORKS FINE with CHROME. I like FIREFOX I have been using it literally for decades now. (I'm 75). Is there a solution? when I try to click drop down menus on rpg mo, like settings/game options or anything in the gear drop down menu it wont let me click. I can't play rpg mo is there a reason for this like is it not html they are using but it works on windows? I am using suse linux leap.

How to reproduce the bug: Jump to the address bar, and then press shift, ctrol, alt or windows_start, you can see the address getting deleted. You can also see it in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel Online, it just deletes the cell, or a selection of multiple cells. --Interestingly on Google Docs it doesn't delete but just move the cursor to the first character when a string is selected.

 It happens only once per mouse click, or focus change

What I expect: Shift, Control or any mod key should not delete content or move a cursor

I saw a message that my Add-ons were disabled, and when I checked the Add-ons Manager , each of my many Add-ons had a message similar to: "1Password – Password Manager could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled. "

Some searches in the forums suggest that that this can be caused my a certificate at Mozilla expiring, I seem to be the only one with this issue at the moment. All of my Add-ons came through the Mozilla store .

I am using version 123.0.1 (64-bit) on OpenSUSE Leap 15.5, and as far as I can see all of my updates are current (and from the official sources.)

What should I do next? I expect I need to wait for a certificate update or something at Mozilla, but if/when that happens how do I verify it did and re-enable my add-ons?

I accidentally hid the menu bar and toolbars (with an accidental keyboard shortcut, I think), and when I re-enabled them, now the tab bar is above the location bar instead of right above the content windows. How do I move it back? I can't find the "browser.tabs.onTop" setting in about:config, or any check box in the View menu, settings, etc.

I'm using Firefox 119.0.1 on Ubuntu Linux.

When I scroll up or down on the touchpad in firefox, it is like I scroll past a certain threshold, and it then sends a "scroll up" or "scroll down" command.

When I do this is Chromium, it's like I'm moving the website with my fingers. Similar to how it would be on a touch screen. In other browsers, the scrolling is not discrete, but continuous.

I love firefox, but this is driving me mad when I'm browsing. Is there any fix for this?

Hi, I watch specific streaming live show on YouTube every week. Unfortunately, I always have to play it in non-Firefox browser, because the video freezes every couple minutes, while audio track is still playing in the background. Based on the comments from the stream chat, other people have this issue too. Why? How to fix it? It is annoying. Internet connection is ok. Other browsers no issue. OS Linux Mint 20 Ulyana 64-bit Kernel Linux 5.4.0-172-generic x86_64 MATE 1.24.0 Mozilla Firefox 123.0 (64-bit)

After some time of idle, i.e. leave the computer for some time, say over night. No suspend or hibernate. Back to the computer next morning, unlock. Then Firefox appears frozen/hang, can't switch tab (clicking tab has no response, but not really frozen, sometimes responses after dozens of seconds of lag), page also has no response. Then after around half to 2 minutes, everything back to normal.

During the "hang", CPU load is load, no memory stress (swapping/paging).

Environment:

Firefox 123.0 (64-bit), (actually it bothered me for years)

Linux 6.6.15-amd64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Debian 6.6.15-2 (2024-02-04) x86_64 GNU/Linux

Firefox consumes a lot of processor time in background. How to disable it?

Following options do nothing: Use recommended performance settings - dasabled Use hardware acceleration when available - disabled browser.tabs.remote.autostart = false

Firefox won't start after updating to version 123.0 on Ubuntu OS.

At the same time, no errors will appear, and there is also no specific crash report that would help understand the reason.

I've encountered a recurring issue with Firefox on Ubuntu where my master password is sporadically not recognized when typed using my external wireless keyboard. This problem does not occur consistently but is particularly frustrating when it does, as it forces me to switch to my laptop's keyboard for input. I'm certain the password is entered correctly; after multiple careful attempts (3-5 times), the issue persists, leading to unnecessary stress and inconvenience.

I'm using Fedora 38 workstation, GNOME as the desktop environment, and Mutter as the wm.

Ark extracted Version 119 files into /home/Downloads/Firefox/Firefox. I tried ./update from the BASH command line, but didn't know which argument(s) to add to that command. I'm hoping to update Firefox 78.14 ESR to a recent version, whether ESR or not. Thanks for your help.

Same stuff on other browsers mentioned gives results. Tested at different times of day. All updates for FireFox are installed.

I play a game at Vegas World. It's basically a free online slot machine site. I have played it for years with Chrome. Recently switched to Firefox. Playing an auto spin slot game, Firefox gets slow and hangs after about 25 spins. Chrome will go for 10,000 spins. So, Firefox is useless on game sites. I don't really expect a fix or solution. And I don't actually expect to use Firefox by the end of the day.

I have a Firefox account in order to use the sync capabilities. After a sync between desktop and phone the desktop bookmarks are on my phone in an extra folder "desktop bookmarks" and vice versa the phone bookmarks are in folder "Mobile bookmarks" in my desktop Firefox. Is this normal behaviour? I would expect them in one common folder to have a seamless synching.

Starting recently the firefox popups for website notifications are stealing focus and disturbing my workflow. I'm using i3 window manager and normally popups would have some id or class that can be used to latch on and prevent the focus stealing but the windows created now do not have any such marker.
