up until this latest version you could delete your search history with a simple right click. This option no longer exists and there is no easily found way to delete "Search History" where did it go? will it be returned? is Search History no longer delete able?

History drop down-Restore Previous Session MENU OPTION AND Recently Closed Windows MENU OPTION tab choice ARE DARK!!! Not active!!! Why? (If they are there to be seen they should always be active for use)

I use these ALL THE TIME!! Where is that function??? Why is MY history from yesterday NOT there for me?? I need it right now!

My life is busy and stressful enough without Firefox or Apple or Microsoft adding to it!!!

Hello. I'm not sure if this is the correct place to bring up my concern. So, I apologize in advance if it's not.

I volunteer with a domestic violence organization. The group's website (180NJ.org) has a "panic button" function where a DV victim could bail out instantly if their abuser confronts them. When you hit the "Safety Exit" button, it changes the page to weather.com and Google comes up in a new tab. This is so an abuser can't see what the victim was looking at, for the victim's safety. When using Chrome and Edge, the DV site is removed from the History. When using Firefox, it is not removed from the History. I've brought this to the attention of the organization's IT people and was told that this is probably due to differences in the browsers themselves.

I'm not an IT person myself and have no idea what's involved in all of this. But, I just wanted to bring it to your attention, in case it's something you can work out. Thank you.

when i right click my search bar on the top of the page i cant find the button to delete my search history anymore when it was there like yesterday. is my computer breaking or something??? help

Hi I noticed that some old links in my history are automatically deleted. How to configure expiration rules (if possible) in order to keep links forever, until manual deletion? I know that links can be saved in the bookmarks, but when browsing the Internet, unless bookmarking everything :(, no one knows if a link can be useful in the future.

As of a few updates ago, Firefox keeps adding items to the drop down menu in the address box. It used to have all the sites I went to to check out headlines, but it started adding things I hardly ever use. For instance I went ONE TIME to the "no calls" registry to register my phone number, and for a month that was in that drop down menu. Another, I have a number of tabs that are always open, like the weather and local radar, etc. A number of them are now in my drop down menu. So, somehow Firefox decides to drop items that I go to EVERY DAY, and put in other things it likes, like the no-call phone registry link. I would like a setting that doesn't allow it to decide this. Or the ability to delete items it adds and say that I don't want these things in that menu. It's fine that it keeps all the items I go to every day, but stop dropping them to add the links to tabs that are ALREADY open in my browser.

Can you remove the really annoying History bug? whenever i have searched something from the full history and copy or open some webpage, or maybe the same domain, i dont know.... it automatically moves the Selection/last copy line upwards 1 step - so if i open 2-5 more pages, it will move the highlighted selection upwards 2-5 more lines.....

so it basically needs to bug around like that and not move my last position upwards all of the time, because i just lose track of what i have already copied before, etc....

Clearing history when Firefox closes is a security issue that should be kept as clearing history manually after every log in is unnecessary which is why it was part of firefox settings, I would really appreciate less bloatware and keeping what I always used in settings. Omitting clearing history when firefox closes is a breach of security not an added security. Thank you, P.S. Please consider changes carefully before you make them or you may wind up with more of what isn't wanted or needed and less of what is wanted and needed.

I often use browser history, but yesterday I tried "show all history" and got a complete blank. ALL history was gone. Moreover, the sites I browsed today are not being recorded in history! How can I get it to start recording my browsing again. I'm not as concerned about restoring all the history that has disappeared - but it's nice if that could be done.
