This is the most annoying behavior. For the most time I would like to use panel once or twice a day to ask some question to continue on conversation in some chat but whenever I close the AI chat-bot panel it resets its context and throws me onto the default page of the provider of my choosing. I have to click my way into the proper chat every time. Could a chat-bot panel keep its context or keep it session at the place where I left it?

Hello Again that white stripe at the top of the screen is back this PM: I refreshed firefox yesterday and it solved until now: have carried out the dirty dozen: updated FF yes, clear cache yes etc.

Can anyone help me in layman terms: I checked safari and it was OK there. would prefer FF : I use (have done so since its inception) DuckDuckGo as my home page .

Suddenly today when I tried to use facebook, already logged in, I got the message "Account Temporarily Unavailable. Your account is currently unavailable due to a site issue. We expect this to be resolved shortly. Please try again in a few minutes." Yet facebook works fine on Safari and Chrome.

I cleared my settings, except cookies, turned off extensions and restarted firefox which did not help.

What else can I do?-Martha

I asked on 11 January 2026 Help for finding back my cookies. Got an answer by e-mail, but this disn't help to find my cookies and so I cannot manage these. Who can tell me please where I can find all my cookies? Thanks in advance. Regards Theo Koeppen

Since updating Firefox from a previous version, the browser no longer displays any Unicode emoji characters. Where an emoji would normally be rendered (👁️), the browser instead displays empty space. Websites such as twitter and discord, which use their own artwork for emoji, are unaffected. This has negatively affected my browsing experience.

For illustrative purposes, I will add a series of emoji and include a screenshot of how they are displayed: (😀🙁😡💀). Other characters still display correctly: (β❖♞䷲⎈𐘢𓀺இ). My computer otherwise displays emoji correctly. The issue persists after disabling extensions, and has persisted between computer restarts.

I am using Firefox version 147.0.4 (aarch64) on a Macbook Air running macOS Sequoia 15.5.

Firefox suddenly has an AI assistant that pops up on a tool bar on the left side of the screen with a green dot beside it. I want to turn this off and make it disappear, if possible. Please tell me how to do that.

When I click on an e-edition link for a newspaper in gmail, the link doesn't direct to the correct site in Firefox. When I use Safari, and click on the e-edition link for the newspaper, the link works as it should and goes to the correct page. I would like to have the link work on the Firefox browser. Any suggestions. I think there might be some sort of security thing/action which is misdirecitng the link. In the past, this problem happened with other sites.

Since last two updates, I noted I can't click on the URL field or any icons next to each other two versions ago. I changed the Bluetooth mouse to a lined mouse, then it went OK. But with the latest update, again, the same symptom occured and persists: I am on MacBookPro, so I manage to Command+any command key.

How can I restore and click on URL field, copy URL, or reload the URL address again? OF course, I need to use other icons for each function.

Earlier this week, I was able to view routes in the Routes section of Strava without any issues. Since the recent browser update, that feature is no longer working for me.

Strava is one of the websites I use most frequently, and being able to access routes is important to my daily use. I’ve confirmed that the feature still works in Safari, but I would strongly prefer to continue using my current browser.

I also went through Strava’s help chatbot, and they indicated the issue is likely browser-related. Since this was functioning earlier in the week and has since stopped, I wanted to report the problem and see if there’s a fix or workaround available.

When the AI chatbot is enabled in the sidebar but "collapsed" -- the tool not engaged -- is any data sent to the chatbot provider? Can the chatbot be collecting data while not engaging with the user? Or is context sent only with prompts and limited to the tab that is open?

What sort of sandboxing is enforced by Firefox?

Y want to be able to chat with my friends in Facebook and at times it takes my 20 minutes of waiting to get connected!!! And now all of the blue I get a bunch of widgets instead and also A sign that says that there is a problem with my browser!!! Please help me out!!! I have an odd white circle with lines in it at about one o'clock on the Firefox icon in the dock on my MacBook. It just one day and I haven't been able to find any answer in Mozilla/Firefox web pages. I don't know if it means something i wrong or what. Thanks for helping

Emojis do not show on Firefox 146 on macOS. I downgraded to 145.0.2 and they do show, so it seems related to Firefox 146.

I have macOS 26.2 running in both test cases.

Emoji in question: 👨🏻‍💻
