How do I get Firefox to stop flagging Canadian spellings as wrong when English-ca is my top preferred language in settings? I am writing a WordPress post using Firefox on Mac.

I mostly watch YouTube channels on Firefox on my laptop, but recently have had to change over to Microsoft Edge browser to watch YouTube. The reason is that during a channel stream, when an ad wants to play, YouTube and Firefox freeze and the only way to exit the screen is to either attempt to close YouTube or even open Task Manager to shut down all instances of the Firefox software. Firefox is by far my preferred browser and I'm frustrated that it is unusable in its current state. I tried to uninstall and reinstall, but this did not work. Thank you in advance for your help.

I have no saved passwords, yet on some sites that require a login, a selection box shows a couple of choices for a user name/id for me to select. How do I clear these or stop the popup. It';s annoying. Thanks

This shield on the search bar is making firefox on win11 unusable for me. I set browser.urlbar.trustPanel.featureGate = false but it still displays. Why do they keep making these changes, it seems like every month there is a new change requiring setting changes,

I had problem with a certain website, did trouble shooting mode and refreshed FireFox. Website works now but I keep seeing this when FIreFox starts. I set FireFox starts with default Firefox Home. Any suggestion how to correct this nuisance?

I know Firefox is slow when opening Facebook. It's busy blocking all their crap. But recently it's been super slow and non-connective to many sites I visit often. I've Ookla checked my connectivity and their excellent. Logging into sites I've visited before is now taking a long time some having to be resent. IE: www.clevelandclinic.org, local government sites etc.

I was messing with devtools before on my own site, and now whenever I go to tetr.io I keep getting "Debugger paused". Clicking the little "Deactivate breakpoints" icon in the Debugger tab in devtools changes nothing and it's still there.

tetr.io used to work on Firefox; I think when I was on 154 was when I last went on there.

I wanted to register a hose reel. I have attached the information provided for registering the product.

When I entered the URL shown on the card stating that the page could not be displayed. I don't remember the error exactly. The strange part is that I could go to the home page, but if I selected the registration option I got the error. So it made no difference how I tried to go to the registration page I got the same error.

I was about to call the manufacture when I decided to try Microsoft Edge. To my surprise the web page opened and I completed the registration.

After completing the registration I went back to FireFox to get the error for this question. To my surprise the web page opened correctly.

Can you explain what is going on and what I should do if it happens in the future?

On updating to firefox 155 in widows 10, I lost my left side bar on start up with just blank page and search engine box, with firefox application menu n top right of screen. I would like my Bookmarks menu on left sideof screen with menu drop-down folders containing site tabs contained in left side bar as previously obtained. When Firefox is running in a non-maximized window, an unwanted empty space appears on the left side of the tab bar, before the first tab.

This space is not present when the Firefox window is maximized. It appears automatically whenever the window is restored to a smaller/non-maximized size.

The issue affects the tab bar layout and leaves a noticeable unused area on the left side of the tabs. I would like to know whether this is expected behavior or a UI bug.

A few updates ago, headers and footers started appearing on anything I print from Firefox. No other printing from any other source does this. All the settings (advanced settings) show header/footer as off, and 'none' in all the header footer options. I have attempted every combination available and can't get rid of the headers and footers. I Don't Want Them!
