Now, somebody at Mozilla decided to add Google trending searches to our non-Google searches. Since I want nothing to do with Google other than (grudgingly) having an email account, is there a way to remove all those trending searches in one swoop? I removed the initial bunch, then went back later, and there were more. TIA.

I was in the process of writing a somewhat lengthy response and went to another webpage or webpages and when I went back to the webpage where I was writing the somewhat lengthy response, the webpage was completely blank! The Back and Forward buttons were grayed out, Refreshing the webpage did nothing so there was NO way to get the webpage back. Interestingly, when I hover over the URL, at the end of the URL for the webpage, it had "about:blank." Things like this are very frustrating and waste a lot of my time.

In addition, another problem I reported on 3/20/25 (link is: A webpage I just closed recently is not listed Back arrow issue) has still no response.

Also another frustrating thing about the Firefox browser is that at times the Bookmarks sidebar disappears.

I need a reliable browser, not one that sort of works! I request that these issues be addressed soon.

I use the email server fastmail.fm inside the Firefox browser on a 2023 Macbook pro. In the main everyday pane (the list of emails) there is a right-hand scroll bar. Frequently that scroll bar is MUCH too long, so that I cannot scroll all the way to the bottom of the list of emails. Both Apple and fastmail.fm are pretty sure they are not responsible. When the scroll bar is too long, I know a work-around, but I would like the problem not to happen.

I have used Firefox for years and when searching then Google was automatically the default. The last month or 2 when I am using search, it is defaulting to Yahoo. Why did this happen and how do I change it back to defaulting to Google? Thank you.

why is it that ever since the FORCED update crap, i can no longer have ad blockers? why am i now FORCED to watch ads for videos as short as 1 minute 52 seconds?

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH YOU GUYS AT MOZILLA? firefox USED TO BE something i would recommend to people but, now that i can no longer have facebook container, any ad blockers or anything else for privacy, i dont see no reason to recommend firefox any longer. if i have to continue waiting 10-15 minutes for a 5 minute video to load just so the ads can load first, and i can no longer have ANY privacy online, there is no need for me to continue using firefox because i can go through the EXACT SAME BULLCRAP USING google or internet explorer, i can have the SAME amount of time and bandwidth WASTED on ads as using google or internet explorer.

i got a message from you guys saying i HAD NO CHOICE but to update or not be able to use the internet, i tried, then you guys sent me the message that i can NOT update for windows 7 (even though your site said windows 7 CAN get the up to date firefox web browser) because my computer is TOO DAM OLD! When loading webpages, it will often take 60-90 seconds to load the page. I've only seen this happen when loading the page for the first time, once it loads navigating through subpages is seamless. It doesn't seem to be tied to any particular domain, I've had it happen randomly on gaming websites, tech websites, even google searches. The most notable coincidence is that in the networking tab of the developer console, it always(?) takes almost exactly 30 seconds on DNS resolution, 30 seconds on Connecting, sometimes a 30s Blocking element, and then the remainder is near instantaneous; screenshot attached. My network is fine, I'm able to play low-latency games without issue, and Chrome is not exhibiting the same behaviour.

Things I've tried to resolve:

• Restarting computer -- issue has been persisting for months
• Created a new Firefox profile -- still showing the same behaviour
• Disabling all addons/testing Troubleshoot Mode
• Proxy settings in Firefox -- No Proxy and System proxy settings are both showing the behaviour
• Disabling DNS over HTTPS

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using a Mac and have just upgraded to Sequoia 15.3.2. When I try to download apps from Adobe It tells me my browser does not work. I thought it was because I was using Mojave but obviously that is not it. Is there something I can do to download apps from Adobe?

So I decided to test out the online, browser-based version of Copilot, and it refuses to work with the microphone even though I have the browser set to allow it. It keeps giving me a page saying it needs to refresh. What am I doing wrong here?

Hello, Any help would be tremendously appreciated! Can someone please tell me very briefly the steps to switch from the FF 128.8 ESR version to the latest supported regular version, which I believe is FF 136. From my research, it appears that you can download the regular version and go to about:profiles to switch your profile back to your original one used w the ESR version. Please list the very simple steps (1,2,3 etc) to switch from ESR to regular version for a non techie.

My background, I have an older MacBook Pro mid 2015, which had 10.11 installed (El Capitan) and recently took the plunge & updated to Mac OS Monterey (12.7.6), which was the highest allowed for this older MacBook. The new OS is awesome & fixed so many websites that were no longer working.

Firefox automatically moved me to the ESR version at some point with my older Mac 10.11 OS. I believe my latest supported version was 78.15 ESR. When I recently updated my MacBook OS to Monterey 12.7.6, Firefox updated automatically to 128.8 ESR.

Now, many websites recently seem to be broken (gmail, yahoo calendar, duckduckgo, & others), so moving from ESR to the most recent regular version seems like the best solution (I believe FF 136 is highest supported by Mac OS 12.7.6). Please list the very simple switch steps or point me to an article. Thanks very very much.

I'm get an Access Denied for a web-site I have frequently accessed. Only Firefox on my laptop has this issue. Edge and Chrome are able to access the web site. Firefox gives me the following error:
