I was able to use Firefox web browser earlier today, but after trying to log in to Facebook, which failed, my account was no longer accessible, I saw an indication that my account was not connected. Do I need to update my software for Firefox. I've been having difficulties logging in to Facebook.

Chrome resolves local DNS just fine.

I have the latest version 151.0.2 (64-bit), always update. It's terribly buggy now out of nowhere. Tabs won't connect to the internet after laptop wakes from sleep. All other browsers still do. If I close FF and reopen I lose ALL my tabs even though for decades I've had it set to reopen all tabs. What's up?

Firefox ran all right, i.e. accessed anywhere in the world. But after I specified Express VPN to apply VPN to Firefox, Firefox stopped finding sites as if it lost name resolving ability. When I did a similar thing for Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, such things did not happen.

Firefox is not browsing on my laptop...to be fair neither is Microsoft edge so I'm not blaming Firefox but it's happened during the day totally out of the blue. I am linked to the internet but no pages will load. The firewall says Firefox is allowed through. I can't run troubleshooting because I can't link to the internet! Very annoying.

Mozilla Firefox desktop : As at evening of 22nd May 2026, UK time, Firefox will not interface to Aol email. Gives " We can’t connect to the server at mail.aol.com ". Connection was fine earlier today, & as I know of no Mozilla changes, suspect this is a change at the AOL end. no longer permitting access to Firefox.  ?? Other browsers do connect, hence not an AOL outage.

Without any change made on my part, effective May 18, have been denied access to the web. This even includes long time bookmarked important investing/banking, etc. Have checked macOS Privacy & Security settings but not aware of any blocking there. Has recent Firefox update changed things? I have not updated Firefox updates for some time.

How can I upgrade to windows 11 or is it to late? Can't connect to internet. Everything else is house is fine. Says Firefox disconnected. I can't sign in on laptop, says windows 10 support expired 10/2025?
