Hello, I encountered an error when trying to install the extension. I've never encountered anything like this before

Hi all, I have a docker container which is running Ubuntu 20.04 and the lightweight desktop GUI. I need Firefox up and running in order to access the application for which was the intended use of this container. However the lightweight desktop apparently doesn't have some of the services running like systemd and snap. There is a binary named "Firefox" already installed at /usr/bin/firefox but I've tried "systemctl start firefox" but that didn't work. Any ideas on how to get Firefox up and running? Thanks Norm

Warun habe ich Version 115 und auf einem anderen PC und Laptop die Version 128. Alle behaupten ich hätte die neueste Version.Hauptproblem ist, daß seit dem 1.8.2024, 17.16 Uhr auf dem PC mit der Version 115 die Symbolleiste und alle Lesezeichen verschwunden sind. I just installed an update when prompted by Firefox. Now I can't log into Hotmail.

FF 129.0.2 x64. The update restarted FF. Everything else seems to work OK. But when I go to Hotmail.com, at first it displays my Hotmail inbox - which is odd; all other webpages requiring a login were logged out when I installed the update, requiring me to log in again - but then it switches to an error:

Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later.

The Microsoft account login server has detected too many repeated authentication attempts. Please wait a moment and try again.

The same Hotmail account is still logged in and functioning on Chrome. This is why I think it's a FF-specific problem.

I used to have a home icon to return to firefox home page; it has disappeared.Any help getting it back would be greatly appreciated.I think I might have gotten it back thru the extension app but don't remember the process. Thanks

I have bookmarks and saved passwords from an old computer (x86) that I want to import to a new computer (M1).

I have the drive with all my old files on it, and can mount it on my new computer. It is not possible to boot the old computer to export my files. How can I migrate them using purely file operations to the new Firefox?

My RoboForm Mozilla add-on stopped working and I tried to uninstall then reinstall the app. When I try to reinstall the extension, the following pop-up occurs: RoboForm Start Page has detected RoboForm browser extension but cannot connect with it. Please update RoboForm browser extension. How do I update the RoboForm browser extension? Thanks for any help you can provide to resolve this issue.

Is this still the current status or are there any plans to support the old Windows versions for a little longer?

i'm using peppermint 1.0 with Firefox browser 113.0.2. my bank says i need to upgrade to FFox 115 Linux. I can't access accts til i upgrade. i can't find 115 nor does the system auto upgrade like it says using the "about firefox" ... this is as far as i can get. suggestions, anyone? here's a screencap. Gosh, the thought of returning to Windows makes me very uncomfortable. I see lots of folk are having this sort of problem.

LINUX. see subject, please. i started on this laptop w/ mint. 5 or 6 years ago. then downloaded peppermint 1 and has been working great, but the browser does not update automatically like is said. Then, my Linux guy up and passed away. I know no one in town that uses it. I'M ON LINUX. any help appreciated. have gotten some replies with folk trying to help, but it just wants to download/install whole program. my bank wants me to upgrade to at least 115. can't access accts. Chase are useless. They don't know what Linux is. Perhaps someone here can point me in right direction? Regards. God bless.

After installing update 129.0.1, in the profile folder, along the path: AppData/roaming/mozilla/firefox/profiles, a folder "extensions store menus" appeared, it contains the file data.life.bin, which changes its modification date as if it was synchronized when the browser closes. I would like to know if anyone else has this folder and file? . I checked the file for viruses, it is clean. Thanks in advance for your answers).

I just updated my iMac from Mojave to Catalina 10.15.7. I thought Firefox would provide an update to convert the esr version to the standard Firefox browser since I am no longer using Mojave, but the next update is 115.15.0esr. Is that correct? My understanding is that the esr updates are just for computers using older operating systems through Mojave. I did not update to 115.15.0esr since I am not sure if that is the right version for Catalina. Any information and assistance you can provide me is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

For a few days now whenever a new tab opens, either by clicking a link in search results or by clicking a link in an email, the cursor jumps to the bottom of the page and I have to scroll to the top of the page. I'm just getting started with Windows 11 on a new computer. What happened to cause this?
