dear Support people, I need your help! on June 22-23, you sent me an automatic browser update, that field and sent a message that the browser can't be opened. so I had to remove it and install it back. however, my open tabs, about 45, can't be found.

these tabs are kept open for my Phd. thesis about giants and I am in great need of them. please, do all that you can to restore them for me.

I've not been able to restore previous session of tabs and windows even though the box is checked in settings to restore prevous sessions. I've also tried all the troube shooting things. I really need this to work. I've been using firefox for many years. Please help me.

I want to select multiple Tabs from a bookmark folder to open in the background.

On Chrome this used to be quite easy: Just open the Dropdown, click whichever tabs you wanted to open with the Mousewheel and done.

On Firefox you need to enable new tabs to open in Background first. I managed to find the setting for that with google after a while. You need to go to advanced settings by typing about:config into your url bar.

Then you search for browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground and click "enable".

But this didn't fix the other issue I had, that the dropdown menu always closes as soon as I click anything.

Is there a way so it stays open until I'm done selecting the pages I want?

I have a lot of tabs open. I like it that way, but if I close a tab the "hidden tabs" feature gets activated. And all the tabs go away. It isn't a huge issue it is just very annoying. How can I disable this annoying feature?

In settings, Start-up, I have the box checked for: "open previous windows and tabs" but it doesn't work. In order to do my work I need the 23 tabs I currently have open to show up again after a reboot of the browser or computer. What gives? How long will it take to get this corrected? Hello. I have a question about the session. I did an upgrade to Firefox and when I opened it, I didn't find the last session. The only thing I have is an upgrade.jsonlz4-238 ******* file, but only that file, the other files are not in the folder. Please explain how to get my session back because I really need it. Thanks.

I played same Youtube video on Firefox and on Edge and Firefox uses way more data(I/O write bytes) I/O writes and I/O Read bytes than Edge. I added the screenshot.

pm: I ran Firefox in Safe mode and with Sessionstore disabled . Some say it is because of History, but I dont want to delete it.

I can have a youtube video on two tabs, but I cant play both of them. I want to do this because I want to play "1 hour of silence occasionally broken up by AUUGHHH" to jumpscare myself randomly while watching another youtube video because I am a masochist. Whenever I play a video on one tab and go to the other and play that one, the other one pauses. Please help me satisfy my masochistic desires. Thanks in advance :)

How do i get that back so that I can open up new tabs when need be?

I'm having to click on the home button to then search and then a new tab will open.

A long time ago, I saw a list of open tabs in all windows, not just in one window, as it is now. (By the way, Google has added such a feature to Chrome. Clicking on the arrow allows us to see any open tab and navigate to it.) I am currently using Tab Manager to search for a tab. But the tab manager is not the best option because it is too slow to open and requires too many resources. Can I restore the old behavior to see tabs in all windows?

i lost my previous tabs and i couldnt recover them. they were no were to be found in history. i need to restore tabs to a previous time or date to recover them and there is no such option, as i accidently closed the new tab and now its overwritten " previous" tabs.

FFox 101.0.1 (64-bit) running in Linux Mint 20.3

Just installed the latest Mint (clean install) and the latest FFox.

FFox tabs are arranged along the bottom of the window! Tabs only appear below the bookmarks panel on the left. On the right, the browser panel is atop the tabs, so the tabs can't be seen. New tabs can't be seen. There appears to be no setting to control top/bottom tab placement -- of course, I want tabs across the top and visible, please. Help!

Also, above "Preferences" > "General" (about:preferences#general), there's an info box that says "Your browser is being managed by your organization". Help!

MacOS FF dev edition 102 When I roll my mouse over a link, in pops up the URL in the bottom left (i.e. status bar as safari calls it) but there's no indication of if the link will show in the current tab or a new tab. in safari, the end of the URL states "in new tab" if that's the case.

Hi! My firefox on my pc always opens any link in a new tab, but i want it to open my google links in the same tab. This works great on my laptop, firefox always opens the link in the same tab.

I can't find any information about in in the help articles nether in on any webpage.

I hope you can help me with my problem.

Hello i've been having some problems on the latest software of yours i'm most of the time watching livestreams but from update v.100 of your software it became weird tab suspends after some in activity which is a problem for me

i found a solution through ABOUT:CONFIG and disabled these 3 for videos 1 - media.suspend-bkgnd-video.enabled 2 - media.resume-bkgnd-video-on-tabhover 3 - browser.tabs.unloadOnLowMemory

for videos and live streams it was good it didn't suspend but my problem now since update v.102 is that video plays but the CHAT stops and doesn't reload until i reopen firefox to the front of my programs

although it is runnning in the background and NOT MINIMIZED

even when the live stream has some lags and re-buffer it doesn't rebuffer or refresh the page to reconnect to the live stream until i force my firefox in front of my programs or games and again it was not minimized

if there is an option in the about:config to change this please tell me i'm already losing my mind as i missed one of my friends live stream because of that suspension
