No FireFox icon on desktop. How do I access the search engine? I DO have the icon for Adobe Acrobat, which I got for FREE at Firefox. When clicked on only gives Adobe site.

How to search for installed (both enabled and disabled) addons extensions in Firefox browser like chrome does via "chrome://extensions/" in 2025?

It is quite surprising that in 2024-25, firefox still doesnt have any option to search for installed addons via "about:addons". You can only search for addon site, not for those installed on your device and profile and browser.

Is firefox team really updating their browser for 2025 when compared to chrome?

When you check the image, you can see two "HOME" entries. This is an issue I discovered after uninstalling and reinstalling the Firefox browser and using Sync.

HOME is my PC, and this image was screenshot on my laptop.

Additionally, the Sync for these HOME entries is not functioning properly. I tested this by opening several sites, and while Sync works well from my smartphone to my PC, it doesn't sync properly from my PC to my laptop.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I tried rebooting my PC, but it didn't work out.

So I deleted my old mozilla account since I abandoned the email that it was linked to, but when I tried to sync with my new account I get this. Is there anyway to do this without having to make a new profile?

I tried making a new profile and copy and pasting my profile into the new one, but still get the same pop up. I guess there's something in my profile that says it's been synced before, is there anyway I can find that and delete it or change it?

Hi all, I used to run two Firefox instances on the same computer, each one using a different account (as I mentioned in the Subject), but I don't remember how I managed this, so now that I moved to a new computer I can't reproduce it! Thanks for helping, if anyone knows. Regards, Mike

I am not able to access my emails in Yahoo Mail. Can't even send emails. Tried accessing Yahoo Mail using Chrome and did not encounter any accessibility problems.

I'd like to ask about Firefox's behavior and settings. I'm using Firefox with vertical tabs (using an add-on), but it seems to be behaving strangely. The things that have changed since before are: 1. Open from pinned tab 2. Now opens in a new tab → Previously it opened in the same tab 3. Clicking on a newly opened tab opens a new tab again → Previously it would open pinned tabs/same tabs → in a new tab It has changed. I haven't changed any of my Firefox settings. Windows 11 Home 23H2 Firefox version 139.0.4 (64-bit).

When I go to YouTube to watch videos the Vid's always stop after a short time. The refresh page and back buttons do not work and neither does the ability to click on any links on the page. I have to close the tab and start again. The issues still occur on new tabs. Eventually I have to close FireFox altogether but when I try to open FireFox again it does not work or takes a few minutes and sometimes the message Firefox is still running. At times I have had the sound of the videos, when they do play, from YouTube still playing even when the browser is closed.

Since the last update, Gmail has not been working correctly on Firefox. All of the buttons to the left of inbox emails that enable you to move, categorize, file, etc your emails have disappeared. I have tested my Gmail account on Chrome, Edge and DuckDuckGo browsers, and everything displays correctly. Please help. An image of the missing buttons is attached (well, since there aren't there, you're seeing a blank area of gray to the immediate left of my inbox [or any other folder] emails). for some reason my youtube tv claims it needs to be updated so can not watch tv in settings it claims to be the latest version 115.29 but google claims it is 144.01 so have no clue how to update if that is why I can not watch tv trying to ask mozilla is pointless with there b/s excuses which is part of firefox
