In history, prior visits to pages are hidden. The information appears to be retained. How can that filter be removed so all visits are visible? My goal is a list of URLs visited sorted chronologically.

It used to be when you went to "Find more search engines", the list was only search engines. Not now. is there any way to bring up a list of just search engines. For instance, I'd like to add Reddit, but the only thing I can come up with it a Reddit search engine addon.

Firefox Monitor has a limit on the number of monitored email addresses (15). However, I use the "+" symbol to register on sites - just to determine which site caused the leak. That is, email@mail.com and email+forum@mail.com are the same email address. I have hundreds of such modified addresses. However, the Firefox Monitor allows you to track only 15 of them.

Is it possible to remove the limit on the number of addresses served, or make the FM perceive email@mail.com and email+forum@mail.com (etc.) as one address?

So I want to know if there's a feature that can perform similar perfromances as the chrome's bookmark will do, so what i want is that to have a bookmark below the address bar.

Hi, I notice that mozilla/firefox don't seem to show types of addons into groups, especially their officially-recommended-addons https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?recommended=true&type=extension - into different categories, as to what each add-on does, i.e. which productivity activities they might fall under for what they do. what good is 4 or more pages of add-ons in a list? I would want them in groups that fall under categories as a Type/dropdown. For example add that is great for taking notes, another for tracking protection, another for music, etc, etc. The listing page is simply a four page list with no divisions.

Could there be an additional Filter on the left side of the page that drops down showing all the different types of OFFICIALLY RECOMMENDED-addons depending on their function/purpose, please. not just by their names? I hope I can get my point across well enough, being a visual type, I might be unable to place it into the correct framework in a written way. My apologies in that case. Thank you and best regards!

They get reset with every update. This needs to stop. Can I turn this off so that I don't have to keep resetting them?

Has anybody noticed some odd behavior with Firefox lately?

I have numerous pages I have frequented in the past that now either don't load at all, or are very slow/stubborn to load, or once they do load, don't work correctly. Most of these page are fine in Chrome.

I also have pages that were the current page before Firefox was relunched, that don't load at all, but they have addresses in the navigation bar. If I relaunch the browser again, sometimes the page comes back. However, If I try to refresh the page before relaunching the browser, the address disappears, the page cannot be recovered, and is not listed in history.

Also, I have random addons that have been reset to default at different times. I thought it was my imagination at first. That I must have forgotten to customize them, but it keeps happening, so far to at least 6 different addons. The time period is hard to gauge because I don't notice until I see things no working right.

Looking for a way via "config" to permanently change the default "any time" for the search period for searches to a set period of days, i.e. 30, 60, 90, etc. Have not been able to find anything in forum conversations or in browsing through the config file that addresses such a change. Does Firefox support Office 365 online? I opened a Word document on Dropbox website and I got a message that office is not supported in this web browser. My computer has Windows 10 OS and I used Mozilla Firefox Developer as well as Mozilla Firefox. A colleague of mine has the same issue while using macOS Mojave 10.14.6 and Mozilla Firefox.

BTW I have Dark Reader plug-in enabled in my browser, that's why the picture is in reversed colours. It doesn't affect the problem described.

So I have been Firefox Developer Edition on three different devices for the past year and just a few days ago on one of my devices, Firefox would not keep my theme settings, extensions, or accept my master password, so I closed Firefox. But that didn't help and since i needed to reboot my system anyway, I did a reboot and when I logged back on and tried to open Firefox it gave me an XUL Runner error saying that 75.0 is not compatible with min version >=74.0. So I uninstalled FDE and then re-downloaded it, reinstalled 75.0 since I do believe that the update to 75.0 had hung up on this particular device a week before. So then a day later my other two devices started having issues, so I tried to sign into another Firefox account, that didn't work so I did a reinstall and it seemed fine for a minute until I realized all my passwords/logins/history were gone, so I tried to sync again and then it gave me the message to set my master password, so I tried and kept getting the 'Cannot change master password' error. I have reinstalled twice and create a new Firefox account, tried to sign into an older one. I know someone will say just use the regular Firefox, but I use the FDE because my other Firefox browser is set with a work account that I keep to backup user data at work and I cannot use for my personal device. Any ideas?

Firefox is my favourite browser, but it has some problems. Although the team managed to fix memory leak issues with BigInt in js, but the performance is 3x slower than NodeJS compared to the latest spidermonkey (75.0b6).

To test out, I have created a simple pi calculator (open source), the website is: http://picalc.rf.gd/

The source code can be found on github, or just by clicking the "View Page Source". It seems impossible to get past 4,000 digits of Pi in firefox but in chromium I can calculate about 10,000 digits in the time firefox does 4,000 digits.

Previously, in the earlier versions (73 I guess), the memory went all the way up to 4 gigabytes while trying to calculate 5,000 digits, it's now (my current firefox version is 75.0b4, developer edition).

For the benchmarks, I have also tried NodeJS and Firefox's Spidermonkey.

Why does FF, since update 59, always freeze when I am trying to save web pages? Most times the download fails and I have to retry until it works. I can't use the browser until the download is complete. Sometimes the download is not the same as the web page. Looks totally different like a word document,

Before, Firefox would remember where I had saved a file based on the domain. So it would remember that things I download from my banking sites go in the user/finance folder, and things I downloaded from board game sites go in the user/games folder. It stopped doing that and now it defaults to whatever the last used download location was, regardless of the download domain.

How can I get it to revert to the previous behavior? It was very handy for it to remember that a file downloaded from the site http://foo.com/ went in the user/foo folder...

Spellcheck does not work on Firefox on my MacBook Pro. It works on all my other devices. I have checked the settings and spellcheck is ticked. However, it just does not work. I have deleted rebooted and reinstalled Firefox and still nothing. Spellcheck works on all my other browsers (Safari, Brave). Any ideas

Just noticed that a web site I am working on is displaying the wrong format for the date. I am generating date string using Date.prototype.toLocaleDateString() (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/Date/toLocaleDateString). I have changed my preferred language in the browser preferences to be [en-NZ, en-GB, en]. Checking `navigator.language` returns "en-NZ", but running

Is it just me or is this a bug?

I am running multiple user accounts on my Mac (macOS 10.14.6). Both users use Firefox Developer Edition (75.0b10).

When Firefox updates itself, it's breaking for whichever user is in the 'background' at the time. The 'foreground' user is prompted for their password to install [something something didn't take a note] Firefox Helper. Then when I flip to the 'background' user, they see the attached error.

This has happened twice now. Help!

So I have plenty of tabs I want to keep. I'm happy with the way Firefox loads up all my "saved" tabs. As in, when I shut down my PC, they are all there the next time I boot up. However, there is one page that keeps coming back up, even though I have closed it every single time. I can go the whole day, it's not there. Next time I boot up, there it is again.

It's not my homepage, or saved as a bookmark or anything. It was some random link to a Ubisoft free game offer that my friend sent me a couple of weeks ago, and it is infuriating me that I can't work out how to stop it coming back.
