The Electronic system at USPTO has a new security system and Firefox won't allow me to complete my connection to USPTO for some reason. USPTO told me to use a different browser and maybe that might work, so they are not any help at all. It seems to me Firefox should be able to make the connection. Am I correct in this assumption? thanks, jim

Every time I open the Firefox browser, I have to go into Tools, Options, Security and click on Remember Logins for Sites. Every time I close Firefox, this preference disappears so I have to go in again.

I already have refreshed/downloaded a new version of Firefox.

I believe one of the recent updates is causing the "Remember Logins for Sites" to be disabled every time I restart my computer. I'll test if it's also when I restart FF, (I restated FF on my laptop and RLFS was left on) . I noticed it because passwords were not being populated automatically (like usual). I found this option off, and turning it back on, allowed the pw fields to be auto populated again. However, after every restart, "Remember Logins for Sites" is off again. It is also happening on my wife's laptop.

After a Windows 10 install I began having problems with PRINT using FF v45.0.2. When I try to print selected documents on my banking web site I and get only the left 2/3 of the page and the print is enlarged. I have checked all my local print settings and none have changed and trials with other of my LAN printers give the same result. I also get the same result whether i use the FF PRINT command or use the PRINT link on the website. See attached screen shots.

I have made additional trials using Chrome, Opera, and Maxthon browsers and they all print display and print without problem.

Secondly, another web site (details available) will only let me print page 1 of any multi-page document. The other test browsers preview and print all pages correctly.

Can anyone tell me why Windows 10 and FF 45.0.2 don't play well together?

I have a limited amount of data allotment each month, and I'm trying to stop the autoplay part of the websites with autoplay videos on them.

I tried the add on "FlashBlock", and it worked good for stopping the auto play, but it also blocked saving files to my USB (stick) flash drive.

I'd like to stop the auto play, but I would also like to save files to my stick.

Windows 10 home.

I have the latest flash player installed. I even tried to uninstall and install player. Zero effect.

The problem is on site "dirt.ru".

There must be a video on main page, but I see a message. The message is in Russian and in English it sounds like: "Hello! You have a JavaScript disabled or an old version of Adobe Flash Player installed. Download the latest version of Flash player".

But I have already installed the latest version if Flash player. What's with Javascript? I have never disabled it. Is there any way of enabling it? Searching your Q&A yielded no results.

When I open firefox it opens about a quarter size in my upper left hand corner and then finally goes full screen. In reddit they called it juddery but I can't find the article which had the solution.

Hi, For reasons unknown to me i had to reset my laptop to factory settings in order to fix the BSOD that plagued me, now it runs fine and i was installing all my stuff back on and i noticed that i can not play any games on mozilla from my fb page, i have no issues with other browsers and your troubleshooting article on the error does not apply to me as i currently have no installed antivirus that could be interfering SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER So my questions are, How can i ignore this and move on to the game. Will i have to do this with every update. Why is it happening now but not yesterday.

I did a Refresh Firefox, then my Profile Screen showed the name of an added/extra profile - I've tried to delete the name from the profile window but I just get a "beach ball" that keeps revolving. When I looked in the Profile Folder, there was no folder for the add/extra name.

Anyone have any ideas on whats happened here? Why wont the extra name delete from the Profiles window.

My Intel wireless network settings lets me automatically launch an application whenever I connect to a certain wireless network ("Enable Intel connection settings" in Control Panel\Network and Internet\Manage Wireless Networks). However, when I choose to launch Firefox, it launches without my profile.

I located the profile folder according to the directions in the topic "How can I determine which profile Firefox 3 is currently using?". I was greeted with the attached error message upon trying to open the profile folder from the "profile-less" instance of Firefox. When I launch Firefox after closing the "profile-less" instance, my profile is loaded normally.

I tried to set my auto launch application path using a command line argument, but that resulted in a message indicating that my program path was invalid.

I tried creating a batch file that started Firefox, then setting my auto launch application path to that batch file. The text of my batch file is (including quotes):

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

Unfortunately, that didn't work either. I would like to know why Firefox can't load my profile using the auto launch feature, but it can load my profile when I launch it from my taskbar.

Very very annoying. I will be watching netflix and a blue rectangular box appears with the exact same icons as I already have at the bottom of my screen. When I click on the red boxed X it closes netflix tab. How do I get rid of this? All it is, is the exact replica of the icons in blue bar at bottom of screen. Very very annoying.

EEC European Union have commented on Google trying to monopolise their search engine on devices. Microsoft appear to be doing teh sam ewith Firefox. The search facility gives great market control and has revenue implications. It is vital people havhoice of search engines - not just Bing and Google.

In the Firefox file associations there are only 8 file associations listed. I want to associate files but there is no option available. How do I add associations not listed

I have uninstalled & reinstalled Firefox but the PC Converter by MyWay keeps coming up. Not sure where this came from. I did not download this PC Converter so I cannot uninstall through programs . IHow do I get rid of this

When I log in to Firefox I have to go to the Options tab and check the "Remember logins for sites" under Security every time. I have tried refreshing Firefox, but this didn't help. The only changes I have made recently to my add-ons, etc. is that I have upgraded to version 45.0.2. The problem is occurring on both my home desktop computer and my laptop computer.

Just bought a new desktop (Dell Inspiron 3650). When comparing Firefox on my laptop (both have Windows 10) there is a difference in the options sections. Both have the same version - 45.0.2 (x86 en-US). On laptop version, I have an option to accept cookies from sites, while my version on my desktop does contain anything about cookies.

In addtion, something is preventing me from downloading video from Dancing with the Stars on the desktop, while the same Fireox is working correctly. Not sure if this has anything with cookies. FYI everything works fine on Explorer on the desktop.

Any help would be appreciated. PS Virus protection is Bitedefend on both computers.

For the last 2 weeks google has decided to go very basic and the layout has changed (see attached screenshot if it ever loads). A lot of the search categories like Shopping, video, maps etc. have disappeared leaving only web and images. Images only gives about 30 results and they're not very accurate. Web search is hit and miss too with some very strange suggestions at times. I don't think I've done anything to the setting at least not intentionally and it's working fine in Chrome. I've tried restoring it and all the usual tricks but nothing has worked and I don't want to go back to Chrome crashing twice a day. I'm using win10

I'd like to know if Firefox has found my css modifications. Is there a way of querying the location of the file that Firefox is using? I had a situation where Firefox didn't find my userContent.css. How would I diagnose this.
