Hello!

I have noticed firefox read source of google font but does not render it! I have searched a lot and tried many solutions but none of theme solved this issue. This is the URL : www.meekal.com ,You could find difference in Firefox and Chrome easily. Clearing Cookie and Cache was not helpful. Also I have checked 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above' is enabled in option.

Could you please help me to solve this issue?

Let me say the whole story, so I bought a new computer, logged in to my firefox account and everything synced perfectly without any issue. The operating system was Windows 10, and I believe that it had the latest version of firefox. I had to take my laptop for an exchange because it broke on me. I was logged in to my firefox account when the laptop broke and then I was worried that all my passwords and bookmarks are in there. When I asked the store workers if they wipe the HDDs of the returned/exchanged electronics, they said yes. So, the (1 day) old laptop was returned and the exact same one was given to me for an exchange (by the way, this was my third "NEW/exchanged" laptop). I come home with the new laptop, open the firefox, login, and BOOM!!! ALL MY BOOKMARKS ARE GONE!! MY PASSWORDS ARE GONE!!! EVERYTHING BASICALLY IS GONE!!!!!

I NEED MY BOOKMARKS!! I am not too worried about the passwords, because I have changed many of my passwords for the important websites.

PLEASE HELPP!!!!!!!

Firefox crashes while trying to bookmark a page. In order to create a bookmark I have to open "Show All Bookmarks" then create a folder, with sub-folders, then "Bookmark This Page" if I try to "Bookmark This Page" create a new folder or sub-folder the bookmark library stops responding which in turn causes the entire browser to crash, I have two options to chose from, either wait until program responds, or quit program and then restart. I have never seen it start to respond, and I have waited for up to 30 minutes waiting. So I always end up quitting the program and then restarting Firefox. Most of the time it will restart with all tabs open prior to the crash, however if I try to do anything while the tabs are reloading it will crash all over, even if I try to bookmark a tab that has reloaded while the others are still loading. Some times I get the restore session option which allows me to pick and choose the pages I want to restore, but just as I have stated I can't do anything while the tabs reload other wise the browser crashes. I began having this problem 2 browser upgrades before my current version 44.0, I hope someone can help me with this issue as I do not care for any other browser available.

Visual bookmarks don't work. I reseted Firefox, deleted it, download new versions of elements of Yandex, visual bookmarks. But nothing helps me. Help me support please. It's very annoying. Help. I hope that you can help me. I'm writing in support of 3'd time. I can not find the answer to my problem.

Somebody could write in Russian? I hope that my problem will solve. This problem is very annoying.

Maybe browser needs plug-ins? What kind? Or addons.

I'm running Firefox 44 with Windows. I can search from the main address bar but the Search Bar, with its options of different search engines from the drop-down list, has disappeared. Anyone know how I can get it back?

Locked down, or at least write-protected every Firefox (32-bit) element I could find, Ran 64-bit startup, loaded a newcopy of Firefox on a different disk.

They look and feel identical - all the right stuff in the right places.

Have I actually installed 'fox32 and '64 or just a second copy of '64-bit?

If I haven't, how do I get both ala <spit>internet exploder.

<btw> with all the lockdowns in place against 3rd-party invaders, how was a single-question "survey" able to slip by?

OK - here goes: I still use AOL for my email and access it through Firefox, and have V44 installed. As of this afternoon, every attempt at sending an email yields a 'message not sent problem encountered' message, but the message IS actually sent.

I need to find why I am getting this anomalous 'not sent/problem encountered' message and make it stop.

A red flag went up in my face when I downloaded two files from my bank account and they were not in the designated folder I expected them to be. I was blindsided with the new Firefox Left a folder that said "Old Firefox Data" on my desktop. I got suspicious when my files went missing after I downloaded them with the new Firefox from my bank. I searched everywhere on my computer but I have no idea where they are. I watched them being downloaded and I double checked the download arrow and they did show up as being downloaded. When I went to the secured folder where they should have been, there was nothing shown of the two Excel files. What happened? I'm concerned about the missing files because of personal financial information. This made me suspicious of the new Firefox Browser that I took for granted without checking. I will update should I find them on the computer.... I downloaded Firefox again and recognized the new version 44. I am concerned about impostors.

I updated Firefox to version 44 (I had installed 32-bit version) and all went right and worked without a problem. Closed it and ran CCleaner to clear cache and most of the cookies (I only have checked those 2 options for Firefox). After the cleaning Firefox didn't work well: pages were not loaded as if I have no connection and when I close the browser it shows Windows error 'Firefox has stopped working' and the browsers turns out to be nonoperational. Uninstalled it and deleted profiles in order to perform a clean installation of newly download 32-bit v.44 of Firefox. Which had the same outcome after using CCleaner.

I decided to try with the 64-bit and so far no issues even after using CCleaner... But I am not sure yet if I am ready to use the 64-bit version with (almost) no plug-in support.

how do I remove the grey color from my search & bookmarks bar? I HATE IT! If I can't remove it, I'll use another browser... that's how much I hate it.

I tried to get a health report on my firefox 44 but I get the error message "the request could not be satisfied". I totally erased my old firefox including profile and it still doesn't work.

In the description of the new web push notifications it says "Firefox maintains an active connection to a push service in order to receive push messages as long as it is open. The connection ends when Firefox is closed. On our server we store a randomized identifier for your browser"

I understand that I can keep Notifications disabled (which is the default), to never actually receive notifications, however, by the above wording (found at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/push-notifications-firefox?as=u&utm_source=inproduct#w_upgraded-notifications ) I assume that even if I don't enable Notifications, that even though the web push stuff is opt-in per website, even if I never opt in, Firefox will still be phoning home the entire time I'm running it. So it will have a log of every time I start FF, how long I had it on, and when I exited. (Granted it's randomized or whatever, but the concern still stands.)

I don't want that... Is there a way to disable this always-on connection?

For example, my computer (and the current time) is at 11:27pm. When I get a facebook message or an email on Gmail, it comes up as 8:27pm. For some reason, all of the activity on my browser is marked 3 hours behind. I do not know how to fix it. Getting emails with wrong hours is really frustrating.

Since the upgrade to FF44, I've lost the option 'Ask every time' in the 'Keep until:' section for cookies. The only 2 options available are 'they expire' and 'I close Firefox'. This makes the exceptions list (after 'Accept cookies from sites') pointless, as every time you encounter a new site, FF automatically allows cookies to be set, whereas before, with 'ask every time' it prompted a choice to be made. Therefore I can only control cookie behavior for sites I have used prior to this upgrade that have exceptions already set, other than by manually setting a choice in the exceptions list.

I appreciate these options are only available if you use custom settings for history.

I've lost my tabs on bottom feature and its gone from the about:config menu as well with the new Firefox 44.0 update.

Tabs on bottom / top add-on's doesnt fix the issue either.

HI,

The update to 44 appears to have prevented the Tabs On Bottom extension doing what it does so now my address bar is below my tabs and I would like it above, where it has been for many years.

As you can see below, the address bar is now at the bottom rather than above the tabs as it was before this update.

Any ideas anybody?
