I'm using FireFox 4 Beta 1 on openSUSE 11.1 (x86_64). I created a ~/bin/firefox/plugins/ and ~/bin/plugins I copied the latest the libflashplayer.so there and also to /usr/lib/browser-plugins/

Since adding plugins and folders I get black flashplayer screens

I am calling JSON files from my Javascript httprequest to represent vertexcoordinates and so on for WebGL. Its work nice with pure json but Firefox ignore *.json.gz files what I requare by setting javascript code:

I have 4.0 beta 1. There is a 30mm gap at the bottom of my screen with nothing in it regardless of which website i'm viewing. How do i get the screen back to full screen. This happens every time i use firefox.

Firefox BETA doesn't load New Orkut. Only the earlier version of Orkut shows up while trying to browse through Firefox BETA. Also, the Nokia Avi suite 2.2 browser synchronization extension shows 'Incompatible with Firefox 4.0b1'. Please help.

When I close Firefox, the CPU usage always rise to 100% for about 1 minute and affect my working. Then I pressed CTRL+ALT+DEL and found that 'firefox.exe" still working after closed the window and usage is 100%, which slow down all my normal processes.Sometimes I need to stop the process manually.

It will not appear in 3.6 but it jam CPU seriously in 4.0 beta but I think it should be a bug and I hope it will not appear any more after final release.

With new firefox 4.0 i can't open, with old version 3.6 saved pages. If I try to open saved site, browser 4.0 show wite page.

I just upgraded to firefox 4.0 beta but I see that firefox 3.6 is still on my machine. Several of my add-ons will not work with it. The Aardvark, Adblock Plus, eHow earnings tracker, Microsoft .NET, and WOT, all are incompatible with the 4.0 beta. But when I try to reopen the old format it only comes up as the foxfire 4.0 beta. How can I change back so my add-ons will work or should I just keep the 4.0 beta and can they be made to work with it? Thank You

Firefox 4 beta1 is not showing the new UI (no Firefox Button on the left). It's exactly the same as FF's 3.6.8, minus the tabs on top feature. Also if I disable the menu bar, the UI get's screwed up

I have looked in \AppData\ for cached images. I took a printscreen image then cropped it, and I need the original to help a software company find a glaring error in their programming. Normally Windows puts temporary images into the \TEMP\ directory, but it's empty and I have not cleared the cache nor deleted files. Where can I look?

every time i type in 'youtube' in the address bar without www., .com, .net, .co.uk....... isnted of google popping up that pesky big seek pro and somtime when i type a www address as well HOW DO YOU GET IT OFF ITS ANNOYING i think its java, it keeps changing my settings

I installed the Firefox 4 beta today, and I noticed that the orange Firefox button that should be in the top left corner does not show up. Searching around, all I got were ways to get rid of it.

before I start up FF4b1 everything is just fine, there is only one FF-icon in my dock(Mac OSX snow leopard). after start up, there are two. One at the fixed placed and the other at the place where no-docked applications are automaticly put by OSX. This Icon is clickable but there is no menu-items except for the Firefox-menu-item, which does not open. In the dock I can quit the icon and it seems to have close the extra menu/application. But after a few click thru pages, for some undefined reason it restarts.

I used to have a row of website short cuts that were place under the website address. (The ones that when you clicked on them, take you to their designated website) Where did they go? I can't figure out how to make them show up in Firefox 4.

When i visit my website the background image has some strange lines going through it. This only appears in Firefox 4B1 (Haven't tried earlier versions), but not in IE nor Chrome.

Well, not a real problem but my Firefox is not the same as you show in the image of this page: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/beta/features/ . My toolbar look like: http://img228.imageshack.us/i/imagemvh.jpg/ when it need to look like: http://img193.imageshack.us/i/screentablocation.png/ I wanna know how can i take off that blue toolbar above of Navigation toolbar to make my firefox look more like the image. Thz ^^

My Snow Leopard dock has two active Firefox icons. They both have a glowing dot beneath (they are running) and when I command-click on them, they both point to the same Firefox app in my Applications folder.

I do not use bookmarks at all and I do not want them clogging up my UI.

Does anyone know how to remove the bookmarks button forcefully present in Firefox 4.0b1 when the Bookmarks bar is hidden?
