Since a few days ago, using mozilla, I am unable to write and send e-mails via MSN.

Every time Firefox opened

I have an older imac. It works well but I can't open a lot of files/applications or even reply to emails on updated hotmail version. My os is 10.2.8 and I am using 2.0.0.20. My OS can't handle later versions. I can't buy latest upgrade from MAC (snow leopard or whatever latest is) because my computer not compatible with higher/newer upgrades. I want to use my computer but be able to have hotmail work and open pics etc. I don't know what to do.

I cannot send or forward email. Nor can I update my ffox 2.0.0.22 to ffox 3.6.8 as I am urged to do everytime I go into Hotmail. All was fine until recently. Any ffox download, regardless of number, always reads "corrupt image".

I tried to upgrade to a newer Firefox system because Hotmail told me they no longer supported my Firefox, but when I tried to upgrade, following the download, I got a message that said "corrupt file."

I have a Mac G5 system 10.3.9 too old to accept latest Firefox upgrade. Tried it and get 'corrupt file' message. What do I do? My hotmail account will not now work!

I downloaded the latest update on my other machine and now it won't access the net. It has even crippled Internet Explorer, neither one will work. When I try to diagnose it gives some white noise about firewall and HTTP stuff. Since I can't get on the net with my other machine how do I download any fixes?

I'm moving from a W2KproSP4 (Win2000, Windows 2000) machine to an XPproSP3 (WinXP) machine. I was running AVG 9.0 and Firefox 3.6.7 with FireFTP, NoScript, WOT, and screengrabber(?). I installed Firefox on the XP machine, launched it to create a profile, and closed it. I copied the old profile folder contents into the new one. On launch: "Malformed file" "Firefox could not install this item because "install.rdf" (provided by the item) is not well-formed or does not exist. Please contact the author about this problem." (This error disappears in Firefox Safe Mode.) Install.rdf is on the old drive at \Program Files\AVG\AVG9\Firefox. "alert" "Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory." When I click on Tools/Addons, "An error occurred during a connection to services.addons.mozilla.org:443. Can't connect securely because the SSL protocol has been disabled." I tried uninstalling AVG and Firefox and installing Firefox first. (That helped me with Link Scanner related non-launch on another XP machine.) Depending on which combination of old & new profile files I have, I get some combination of the above 3 errors and not launching at all. (It may show for about 1 second in Task Manager, then quit.)

P.S. I am posting this from my old W98SE machine, running Firefox 2.0 since it won't launch anything newer. I never did solve that mystery.

"the application firefox quit unexpectedly". The latest place I visited was my local DMV when this occured. What do I need to do to make it not do that again. It is very aggravating trying to get somewhere only to have it die midstream. Will the latest version fix it?

SItes such as youtube report I have an outdated browser and I recently attempted to download a VLC plug-in which reported I had firefox 2.0.0.8. However, the "about" section states I have 3.6.8

My mac is too old for Firefox 3.6.8. Every time I try to download it says corrupt image. Is there an older Firefox to download? I have a Power Mac G4, OS X Version 10.3.9. I bought it used in 2005.

Using Hotmail I can't reply to messages nor create new ones. I'm on windows 98SE and use firefox 2.0.0.20. A new problem with some changes Microsoft made to Hotmail.
