Hello, today i had weird FF behavior, for while i was browsing i have got BSOD. When i have analyzed the minidump file it says firefox.exe is a reason.

(menu bar) Firefox > Preferences I see this in hundreds of links for help. But it does NOT exist. Please do NOT tell me to go to menu bar and click on Firefox. It is NOT there. It just is NOT there. There is no tab, link, drop down or ANY thing that says Firefox. There is no tab, link, drop down or ANY thing that says Preferences. The menu bar is there. File Edit History Bookmarks Tools Help. But NO Firefox and NO preferences. I want my page to show the |||\ at the top. But I do not want the bookmarks tool bar at the top. I do NOT want Picture in Picture to show at the top. I do not want the bookmark star to show inside the url. Where and how do I fix these things???

My windows install in my dualboot pc is unable to open at the moment, I can access the windows files from my linux. But i need the firefox data on that pc that I kept. I don't remember which email I used on that account so I'm kind of stuck on getting my data from online. Is there a way to recieve all the data from another drive without opening firefox?

I have multiple windows open with multiple tabs on each. Most created before I had a Firefox login (if that makes any difference).

I am upgrading my os on my Mac and somehow either a) keep all the windows with all their tabs open (preferable) or b) easily create some record of what they all are so I could relaunch them if a) is impossible.

How can I do this?

I’m trying to make aware people of the recent Google movements to close gate the internet to their services and I suggest to folks to move to Firefox.

One of my colleagues encounters a problem clearly visible on the image attached (it shows correctly on my mac).

It's not as bad on my mac, where I only have issues every now and then - I received an email this morning on my work email, and all the apostrophes were replaced with Registered symbol (R in a circle).

I noticed that not allowing websites to use their own fonts fixes the issue (unticking "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above") but I would like to be able to view sites the way the developers intented rather than forcing my browsers default fonts.

Any ideas?

firefox monitor does not allow me to sign in using dashlane password manager. Every other website responds by either filling in the name and password, or asking if I want to use Dashlane data. Please help. thanks

Every time I log on a site where I have previously searched something in their search bar, whatever I searched either gets auto-filled (even if I want to search something else) or appears in the bottom of the search bar. They disappear if I clear all my search history but then I have to re-log into every site on my browser.

How can I delete those suggestions/make them not appear anymore without loging out? I have tried checking the autofill settings but everything is password related.

I have four active Firefox windows, each with quite a few tabs. I have been closing and re-opening Firefox with no issue until today. Earlier this week I updated my Mac OS to Ventura 13.5, and Firefox was still operating normally after the installation (closing and re-opening with all windows and tabs intact).

Today however, when I restarted Firefox, no windows opened automatically. I closed and restarted a few times, and finally one window opened intact; however the other three windows (still dispalyed on the "Windows" menu) refuse to open. When I look at my Firefox app on my iPhone, it also shows all the tabs intact.

What can I do to get these to open? I am running Firefox version 115.0.3.

Now that firefox no longer supports Windows 7 is there a way of disabling the update notificatioin? I like firefox, cannot afford to update to a newer version of Windows but find the annoyance of firefox wanting to update to aversion that does not support my system a distraction.

I know it is good practice to keep everything up to date but when the software makes this impossible ......

Every time I turn my Laptop on and visit web sites I have to reset my cookie preferences to deny - I have other add-on's such as Privacy Badger, Adblocker, Ghostery, AdBlock Plus. Do I 'need' all of these? I'm a bit paranoid about security but also a tech moron....

My previous version of Firefox was on the fritz and I was afraid there was malware in it so I uninstalled it. When I reinstalled it I realized all my bookmarks were missing and I can't figure out how to restore them from my profile or a previous backup. Please help! Thank you.

I am disabled and have been using Dragon for writing and reading for more than 20 years. With the new update I cannot install the Dragon extension into Firefox and the longer. This means I will be no longer able to use Firefox as my web browser. This means I will be going to another editor! This is a shame because I've used Firefox even before it was Firefox! (Netscape)

So recently I made a purchase via a website with my credit card. Was a one time purchase and I want the credit card data to be deleted, but it keeps auto filling the form even after I deleted all cookies, browser history, cache and everything else. I searched forums that there is auto-fill credit card & address options but only in US and Canada and I am in Europe.

How do I delete this data stored in Firefox since it keeps auto-filling it even after I contacted the billing support to delete my information.

weibo.com will not load on Firefox. I've tested it on Edge and Chrome and it loads on both. It uses a "sina passport" system, I assume to handle traffic from outside China and avoid DDOS attacks. The URL for this is passport.weibo.com. The issue with Firefox is that it never passes this check. The passport will continually refresh and never load the main website content, only serving a blank URL as it tries to enter the site.
