I have reinstalled Windows 10 in a new computer, installed a fresh copy of Firefox, and successfully imported my bookmarks from the original computer. But I cannot discover how to export and import my bookmarks toolbar. Another user has attempted to answer the question, but the description is very ambiguous and I can't understand it: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1266729. After an update, Firefox does not recognize middle click at all. It worked in the past, but no longer. For example, middle clicking on... - a hyperlink should open a tab in the background - a bookmark bar item or bookmark menu should open that bookmark in background - empty space on the webpage should initiate autoscroll - a tab handle on the Firefox title bar area should close that tab None of these work as of now.

I'm on Windows 10, and I am using a Logitech MX Master 3 via USB Unifying receiver. I checked Logi Options+ app and confirmed the middle button is correctly set to middle button (default) and there's no per-app settings for Firefox.

Is there a way to remove recent bookmarks from the "hamburger menu" (says "Open Application Menu" on hovering)? The bookmarks there seem to only show the most recent bookmarks added and there's no way to organize those or delete them without also deleting the bookmarks from the main bookmarks menu, which can be organized. There should be a way to not show bookmarks that are private bookmarks just because they've recently been added. I couldn't find an answer to this anywhere in support -- though I might not have been searching the right terms. Any and all help would be much appreciated. (Also, apologies if I put this in the wrong category. Wasn't sure what to use.) Thanks!

I am using Moziall Firefox 64-bit with version 107.0 on Windows 10 21H2. I always like to scroll web pages with the mouse scroll wheel by clicking the mouse wheel and then moving the mouse up and down. I think you know this function. Normally a small circle with an up and down arrow appears, but not anymore. In other programs like Outlook, Word or Edge it still works.

For troubleshooting I have already deactivated all addons and started Firefox in safe mode. Unfortunately, everything has brought nothing.

After the latest version of Fire Fox was installed, my yahoo email no longer works as before. Emails show up and can be read but that's all. Can't delete, reply to, access contacts, settings etc. Basically everything along that line of functions is inop. When using MS Edge to access yahoo mail everything is fine. And, everything was fine with the previous version of Fire Fox. Can I go back to that previous version or can this be fixed?

I'm moving to a new computer and installed Firefox.

I've done a sync and everything moved over except for my container settings/configuration.

On the new Windows PC, the Firefox settings look like this: If I go to the Sync settings for Firefox: about:preferences?entrypoint=fxa_app_menu#sync It says: You are currently syncing these items. But Containers is not on the list.

If I go to the General settings for Firefox: about:preferences#general It says: Enable Container Tabs is checked but greyed out.

If I go to the Firefox Multi-Account Containers settings, Enable synchronisation is checked.

If I can't get sync to work, is there a file I can copy from the old computer and move to the new one that has all the Container conifguraiton details?

On my personal home page, I have several links as in the subject: which I use to browse javadoc. Clicking on the link does nothing AFAICT. Is there some kind of configuration setting to get the "click" to work? (It used to work years ago)

I have started receiving "Gah. Your tab just crashed?!!" (in polish "Och — ta karta uległa awarii") when opening some pages in FireFox tabs. Some are normally wokring, others are throwing this kind of message. I wasn't even able to post this mesage from FF but other support.mozilla.org pages are working fine. Tried Troubleshoot mode, same issues.

For several weeks now I have been unable to sign in or track packages on FedEx.com. I have had to use Microsoft Edge to access FedEx.com. I never used to have this problem. I don't know what Mozilla did, but I wished it could be undone! I use a VPN, ExpressVPN, and thought this was the problem at first, but it is not. I turned off ExpressVPN and still cannot access FedEx.com. Same with using AT&T Broadband. I have tried cleaning my history/cookies and it has no affect whether I use ExpressVPN or AT&T Broadband. I went to FedEx.com on Mozilla and clicked the 'shield' and turned off Mozilla's Enhanced Tracking Feature. I still can not use FedEx.com.

I see no solution to this issue unless I can find some way to completely turn off your Enhanced Tracking software that you have added. It is ridiculous that I have to use Microsoft Edge every time I want to access FedEx.

I have using firefox for quite some time. recently my audio just quit. I listen to multiple NPR stations and Pandora. they won't work. window shows they are playing, mute button not available in tab however.

I tried it in chrome and it works fine. any ideas?

For some reason, I can no longer upload or download files, with the pop-up window failing to appear entirely. I can upload folders through, for example, Dropbox or Google Drive, but individual files don't work.

I've reset my browser, uninstalled and reinstalled it, opened it in troubleshooting mode, disabled enhanced tracking protection, but nothing seemed to work. I've tested another browser, and I was able to upload and download files just fine.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? I'm on Ubuntu 22.04 using Firefox 107.0.1.

I would like to set Firefox homepage with a background image. I don't seem to be able to find one anywhere. I am a novice at computer related issues, and require step by step basic help. Surely there must be a way to change the background image, I managed to do it in Chrome but Firefox illudes me. Thanks for any help in advance.

I would really appreciate if the Firefox Password Manager would time-out and ask me again the primary password every x minutes (lets say 10 minutes, better if configurable). I use Firefox in my home PC, I have two kids (11 and 13 years old) and they frequently use my Linux/Firefox session for their school necessities and leisure time. The problem is that often they end using my session and they have access to all my usn/pwd inside de Password Manger (Internet router configuration, Parental Control configuration, ecc.) My kids have their own Linux profiles and Chrome profiles for school but they usually get to use my own PC/web-browser sessions for practical reasons inside my family.

The video playback stuttering isn't new but I only stated looking into it now. No idea how long it's been like this. At first I thought it might be caused by running my monitors at true 120Hz and 60Hz instead of a fractional framerate but then the stuttering should be visible on other apps too. Switching to a fractional 60 didn't change anything in Firefox.

Hello, We don't want private browsing icon in the start menu. How can we prevent installation of Firefox private browsing icon in startup menu? That icon is linked through another shortcut in the C:/Users/.../AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start menu/ Programs/ to the private_browsing.exe

Windows 10 Firefox 107 & Firefox107.1

What's up with all the daily updates? Most times it's about every other day. Sometimes it's daily for a day or two. I check under the help tab. It tells me I'm up to date, without the new update. So, why so many updates? Is anyone else having the same problem?

AndyMark.com is displaying as a mobile site and unusable. No option in Firefox to request desktop site. Running Windows 10. Instructions online say to go to Firefox menu and select desktop site but that option is no longer available. I realize that Windows is a phone operating system but my phone is Android and my laptops are Windows and I use Windows no my computer. Firefox is unusable if we can not set it to always use desktop views.

Please put the option back. Thank you.
