I write in Scrivener and copy/paste into Google Docs for editing. In every other browser, this is no problem. In Firefox, my formatting (mostly italics) is lost when I paste. I've tried messing with the paste commands and had no luck at all. I tried copying from Microsoft Word to see if the problem was on the Scrivener end, but the same problem occurs. I need to open Chrome to paste my text into Google Docs, which keeps the formatting, in order to work around this problem. Does anyone know why this is?

Mozilla opens a random page without me doing anything. Page doesnt download all the way because i think ether avast or windows firewall blocks it. Has anyone found a solution to stop this from happening. I have done a deep scan incase of a malware and avast found nothing.

'Tried to fix extra large text on windows 11 issue. followed directions on support and went to advanced preferences. Now text is so small I cannot read it. This is on a new computer. Please help Need to get back to the original set up

How can I get certain bookmark folders from a backup json file ? I don't want to restore everything.

For example my Work bookmarks don't need to be same as home bookmarks, but I may need some of them. I can't copy paste each one manually.

I use Firefox almost exclusively. After opening a link from an email for a digital magazine download, the form necessary to complete the download does not appear in Firefox, but it will appear if I do the same in Chrome. Images attached.

Is there a setting that is affecdting this?

I really like the new Firefox View, but I'd love to be able to get to the view with a keyboard command. I tried treating like the first tab (Cmd+1), but that doesn't work, nor does Cmd+0. Hovering over it doesn't reveal a keyboard shortcut. It doesn't appear on any of the menus, so I'm at a loss as to how to assign a custom control.

I was trying to save a pdf to my computer. Can't find a way in the ff fillable pdfs. Directions I found say to click on file link (Apply Button), but I can't find any button like that. I can't find any descriptions of the buttons, either. Some buttons don't have a pop up that says what they do when you point at them.

I want my banking to remember my computer when I log in. Every time I log in and a code is sent to me it asked if I want them to remember my computer. I click yes. However, when I log in again, it has not retained my computer. I do, however, want to log in each time.

Also, there are sites when I click on them, such as Facebook or AOL I have to enter my user name and password. I used to be able to click the icon and it take me right there without asking for user and password.

my gmail account and it's corresponding mail that I have linked to my firefox account is currently overflown with data. due to my place of residence Im locked from purchasing additional data for that account's google disk, and therefore can not receive any emails. If possible, I would like to verify my account by any other means, or use any other of my mail addresses to receive verification email to my account. To add to the context the whole problem occured after I reinstalled my OS on my PC. I synced my account, saved what data I remembered to, but forgot about my linked mail inability to, well, receive emails. Any help would be really appreciated

I have Firefox 50.1.0 on openSUSE 13.1 Linux (KDE desktop). This is the last update from openSUSE, but is now deprecated by some websites. I am reluctant to download a recent Firefox version without knowing in advance that it will work under SUSE 13.1. I am familiar with 13.1 and reluctant to update that, merely to run a new version of Firefox, as it will create complications with my multi-boot system, which includes a MSDOS 6 partition for legacy software (it took me ages to get GRUB configured to load that reliably and I'm not sure I could do it again).

Please advise what is the latest version of Firefox that will run under my elderly version of Linux and how to obtain and install it (I am not an expert Linux command line user). I am using Firefox 106.0.3 under Windows 7 to send this to you (multi-boot system), because I could not sign up with 50.1.0.

Since your upgrade from 106.0.2 I am unable to correctly play video windows within FF pages. I am using this browser in Linux Mint 21 and the image attached shows a page (Left hand window) where the video playback progress indicator is pushed to the extreme right hand side of the video progress bar. I have lost the ability to start/stop and stop the video playback using the space bar on my keyboard.

Even in full troubleshooting mode, where all extensions etc are disabled, the problem persists. I have checked in another browser (Chromium) and the video controls work with the space bar and the video progress time tracks across the progress bar as the video plays, so I know it is not a specific web site issue, rather it is specifically a FF display issue.

I am sorry if I have not included more information as this is my first question / plea for support .

I logged into my Firefox account on a public computer, however, when I logged off, all of my passwords, open tabs and bookmarks are still showing up on the Firefox browser on this public computer.

Nothing I have tried to remove it from this public computer has worked.

I have tried the following:

• logged off of my Firefox profile from this public computer
• unsync from this computer, sync is now off and disabled.
• Clear ALL history, including cookies, cache, active logins, search....
• Restarted this public computer several times, including a complete shut down.

And none of it has worked. Currently, when anyone opens Firefox on this public computer, all of my saved tabs will open, even though I'm logged off and unsynced. Also, if anyone goes to Firefox settings on this computer, they will be able to see ALL of my saved passwords on my Firefox account, also, even though I'm logged off and unsynced.

Please help. I need to remove my Firefox account from this public computer without deleting it off my personal laptop.
