MP4 videos fail to play with the following error messages:

1. No video with supported format and MIME type found.
2. Video can't be played because the file is corrupt.
3. NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_FATAL_ERR (0x806e0005)
4. Error no decoder found for audio/mp4a-latm

other notes:

• issue began a 1-2 weeks ago
• issue does not exist on chrome browser
• MP4 videos can be downloaded and played successfully in applications other than firefox
• other video formats play successfully in firefox
• issue persists in troubleshoot mode
• issue persists with hardware acceleration on/off
• issue persists with tracking protection on/off
• media.mp4.enabled is set to true

i just upgraded to win 10 downloaded firefox and when i play videos i get format is not supported error when i tryd playing same videos on explorer those videos worked they didint worked on opera gx too i already tried deliting firefox and clearing all left file with cc cleaner dont know what to do

If I view sites in any other browser I can view signup forms, Facebook/social media widgets on sites, etc. But they are not there when using Firefox. I do clear cache at all levels.

ADDITIONALLY: States Duckduckgo has blocked this link. HOW DO I UNBLOCK Duckduckgo?

Mozilla has been going to a gazillion methods of logon and support. The latest is Khoros. Khoros? As in Cyrrhus?

Is there any news on how Mozilla is selling out to one devil after another to offer support or communicate to users? Where is the donorbox account to just support mozilla and get it over with.

I installed mozilla today and I looked in to my settings and found this message "Your browser is being managed by your organization."

I am not part of any organization since this is my home pc.

I checked the forums but i couldn't solve this.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Firefox doesn't exist for me and i don't use avast.

On about:policies it shows "Certificates-ImportEnterpriseRoots-true"

What is this ImportEnterpriseRoots thing?

I'm using a laptop with windows 11.

Can anyone help?

I have been having an issue for a week or more and no updates from the browser seems to fix that. The error reads: Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. This is occuring with a request to RBC banking. The same appears to be true but witrh different language for a request with Desjardins Insurance portal.The second link printed in red is the result after I cleared all cookies from Desjardins site. I can access many other pages within the two sites. RBC I am logged in (In black). Desjardins I am not yet as a user when these errors come up

When using the right click menu on a PDF item in the Download Library (Ctrl+J) option Open In XYZ PDF viewer opens the pdf in chrome!!! option [selecting] Always Open In XYZ PDF viewer opens the file in chrome!!! option [deselecting] Always Open In XYZ PDF viewer opens the file in FF!!!

Double clicking on a PDF item in the Download Library (Ctrl+J) also opens the file in chrome!!!

This is totally wrong, please fix it asap. Thx

Suddenly (the last 2/3 days) the ABC TV Guide is not displaying correctly. If you click on the program and then again on the "see more" there usually is a picture and some subject matter about that what will happen in that particular program inc. mentioning whether it is a repeat or not.

I've checked by going into other browsers and it works perfectly there. Can you please review and suggest a way of how this being fixed?

Yahoo mail not working. line of buttons including delete not active.

Firefox says there is a problem and gives me the option of opening in troubleshooting mode or refreshing Firefox. Opening in troubleshooting mode doesn't solve the problem so I want to try refreshing Firefox - how can I avoid losing all my open tabs (I have many)? Thank you for any help/guidance.

I know there were quite a few people that did not like the 98.0 update to the Downloads Panel... but I was definitely not one of them, haha. I loved it, and so did several friends of mine! Unfortunately, I, along with my 4 Windows devices, no longer have that feature. :( When something is downloaded, I am now prompted with the Windows prompt to "Open with Firefox , Open , or Save" instead of it popping up in the Download Panel with the "Open , Save" options. When I choose save and the location, the file is downloaded and a green checkmark shows on the download icon, but it doesn't open.

Strangely, it DOES open if I have that file type set to "Open with Firefox" automatically... but no other option does it work for, when it 150% did before. I have the "Show panel when download begins" option checked, and I also made sure my about:config option is "true" - still doesn't work. :'( Can anyone help me? Thank you so much!

I need to download the helper application to be able to download adobe.

To be able to download, add Adobe's site to the list of "allowed sites" in Firefox:

       On the Tools menu, select Options; click the Content icon
       Check the "Block pop-up windows" box, then the Exceptions button
       On the "Allowed Sites - Popup" window, enter www.adobe.com in the Address box and click Allow, then Close.
   On the Tools menu, select Add-ons; click the "Get Extensions" link in the lower right corner of the popup window.
   On the Add-ons page, select Plugins from the menu on the left.
   Click the green Install Now button that appears under the Acrobat Reader header.
   Adobe's Reader page is displayed. Follow the instructions for downloading the correct version.
   A "Software Installation" box is displayed; click Install Now.

There is like a long white sheet pop-up that keeps appears on my Desktop on the right center. When I closed the website that I just went through, the pop-up immediately moves fast to the to hide. This is going on every day.

Something else is going on I noticed that when I make some changes in my settings, other changes take place like my email icloud was turned off yesterday. A few days ago an app game from Apple store was moved into my Apple ID, icloud with a check mark.

Yesterday, All the add-ons were disable in safe mode that I had to do a Troubleshooting mode and refresh Firefox to the add-ons back.
