Up to 126.0b9, files with encoded URLs in their filenames downloaded normally. As of 127 onward, however, it gets changed to _3A instead of %3A, etc. Is there a setting somewhere in config to revert this?

Example:

Supposed to be: test [sound=https%3A%2F%2Ffiles.catbox.moe%2Fe547nk.mp3].png Downloads as: test [sound=https_3A_2F_2Ffiles.catbox.moe_2Fe547nk.mp3].png

When signing in to websites, firefox offers e-mail address options that havebeen used before on that site. But right now it keeps offering two, one of which is incorrect, and I thought there was a way to fix that, but right now I cannot remember it.

This is explicitly for sites where I have told firefox *not* to save the password, and it is offering up potential email/login. entries *only*.

I do not want to tell firefox to not offer to autofill anything ever, because that saves time when the entries are correct. but here they are *not* correct and I need to clear them for this one specific website.

How do I do that?

When we are getting dates and time in history like Chrome? Random months and in those months, no days, no dates makes Firefox outdated.

Is Firefox not growing or everything needs to be highlighted? I have never highlighted anything to chrome yet it has done things that are worth it.

Good morning, I'm running Firefox Developer Edition 143.0b6 on Linux Mint 22.1. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that when moving tabs on the left-hand side they'll instantly get locked into an inscrutable and seemingly impossible to fix "pinned mode". Is there a way to turn this off? It is driving me crazy. I've looked through Settings > General > Tabs and about:config and didn't see anything relevant. If anyone has run into this or knows a workaround, I’d be grateful to hear it.

As practically every other Firefox user, my bookmarks evolved into a lengthy file system that uses folders to segregate categories of bookmarks.

That is, it used to have this feature.

After the last update all or most of the bookmarks (I can't tell by scrolling down the long list) are devoid of their organizing folders. This puts a great deal of information beyond easy reach. In Mozilla Help topics one is advised to click on the library icon in the toolbar ... only there is no such icon on my copy of Developer's Edition.

Can someone suggest a method or methods to recover the folders?

Some passwords have been lost as well.

Хочу заметить что у меня включена функция Handoff и она мне удобна, но мне неприятно видеть блок с ярлыками и строкой не по центру. Я использую тему ffultima, скажу еще раз, вчера все было нормально. So, forgive me, I'm a little frustrated right now, but I needed to move an Open Tab to it's own window, without the use of my mouse (yes, it's having issues right now), but: I used to do this by tabbing to the TAB in question and pressing <Shift> F10, which opened a context menu with a Move To sub-menu. Now the menu didn't have that option. see pic below. ...Yes, I was able to do the same via, File | New Window, and coping the address to it with Windows cut/paste and <Alt><Tab>. Still I would like to know how to get to the TAB context menu option without the mouse.

I'm a beta update channel user, so this may not reflect what 'normal' users are seeing. I use Firefox in Linux, debian v13, so normal people that are using Windows or MacOS also might not see the changes I'm asking about? -- I have no way of knowing.

Anyway: in FF v152.0b6, the "Connection Settings" area seems to have disappeared entirely from the settings menu. I used this area of the settings frequently.

The ability to set proxy still exists in the about:config settings area. In the future, will about:config be the standard place to go for people that want to manually set (or toggle) an http/https proxy?

I installed Firefox Developer Edition and I am having the following issues, whenever I go to Indeed and I go to a job posting the browser opens up additional tabs without my permission or me doing so. Also the browser does the same in Canvas when I go to my course the browser automatically opens up new tabs without my permission and also me doing so. The Firefox Developer Edition browser update is Firefox Developer Edition is up to date 152.0b7 (64 bit). The following extensions are installed AdBlocker Ultimate, FoxyProxy Basic, Ghostery AdBlocker For Privacy, Malwarebytes Browser Guard, Privacy Badger, and UBlock Origin. This behavior got super annoying and I don't know how to fix it. Any help on how to fix this would be appreciated. My operating system is Windows 11.

The latest update for the beta version 153.0b1 of 6/16/26 has made my theme stop working although it still says enabled. The theme is: ANIMATED Sakura by candelora 🌸 Theme Designed by candelora © 🌸 Animated Apng Theme I'm using Windows 11 on a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex with Firefox as my default browser. I'm an old lady, not tech-enabled in any way. Please help and thanks.
