My Earthlink email will not scroll. I have tried talking to Earthlink, but they say it is probably a browser problem. Here is my conversation with them, so that I don't have to re-type everything.

When I open my Earthlink email in Firefox there is a box at the top that says "Enhanced by Google" and the screen won't scroll. I talked to Earthlink support and they said it's a Firefox problem

Google maps displays a map and then, a few seconds later the map goes black. I found an archive thread called "Google Maps suddenly displaying black" where it is suggested to use ctrl+F5 to bypass the cache. That solution works but then, a few seconds later: Boom, the map goes black.

Seems to me that when the page is refreshed by a script in the map that whatever gets downloaded corrupts the map and then when the refresh occurs, the map goes black.

What ever this "corruption is" Firefox fails to display the content correctly. I have killed my cache, disabled extensions, used troubleshooting mode, switched to the "auto" system theme etc. The key combo is the only way to temporarily recover the map. I should also point out that I see differences in the map UI, it looks like Google updated the UI in maps.

Why is it so difficult for Facebook to function like it does in Chrome. I am a Firefox user on Windows 11. Facebook should function freely and without having to wait for actions to complete. I want Facebook to work normally on Firefox. It should not function like I'm driving a Mack Truck. Firefox, you need to fix this so Facebook functions normally.

This is from Cabelas.com but I am getting it more and more from other web sites. American Airlines, Delta.com, etc. I accessed the help and did all the steps about fingerprinting and turning off "enhanced tracking protection" and nothing helps. Any ideas? Don't like the idea of using Chrome or Edge, but Firefox is almost unusable for me now. If I have to keep using another browser for the sites, may as well just use that one only.

By "extremely" I mean an all-caps extremely.

Some bulletpoints:

• Tried deleting stored data of affected websites
• Affects articles on e.g. science.org and pnas.org
• Tested troubleshooting mode
• Tested against Edge
• I noticed that the references (bibliography section) loads one by one, very slowly
• Hence maybe has to do with the integration of GetFTR by the affected journals
• Disabling tracking protection didn't work
• Only thing that "worked" (isn't a solution, really) is disabling all scripting and just using reading mode, using e.g. "||pnas.org^$stylesheet" in uBlock; doing that, the papers load in an instance

I first went to bugzilla, but read: "please consider checking Firefox Help instead of creating a bug", plus I don't know what technical stuff to submit.

Cannot connect to BBC Sounds web page (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds). Have tried with and without a VPN, have cleared the cache, and shutdown/restarted Firefox, but no luck.

Connects without issue when using alternative browsers.

Issue persists on Incognito Mode and it goes away if I use different browser.

I have two browsers installed Firefox and Chrome. Firefox has problems with an ever increasing number of websites (that are switching to Akamai Edgesuite) while Chrome marches on without issues.

I recently discovered the Browser User Agent identification string that is used by the server to determine what browser it is talking to. This is useful for serving content correctly to different types of devices like a phone or PC. You can find your Browser User Agent string here:

So thinking that this might be Firefox's problem I copied the string from my working Chrome installation and added it to Firefox. Unfortunately the issue continues.

So somehow Edgesuite is using something MORE than just the user agent string to kick Firefox to the curb. Does anyone have any clues as to what this might be and how to get Firefox in the good graces of Edgesuite?

Good day. For the last week or so, I've not been able to access my banking website login page. I've tried in Chrome, it works, but I prefer not to use that browser. How do I resolve scrolling issues (unable to scroll) on many websites. AI recommendations of clearing browsing history and cache have not been effective. Scrolling is possible using Google Chrome.
