Hi there! Well, another company told my business partner that their product does not like Firefox so we should use Chrome and maybe Edge. First, that is a crock, but seems to be a standard answer from anyone in the business world, sadly. I would not trust Edge or Chrome, especially those two, if they were the last platforms on earth. So, help pretty please?

Is there a setting that we can use that will assist in using RSMeans Online Version so it will work more effectively? Whenever we get an error message or it just won't open, they blame it on Firefox.

This is the second time in 4 months I've had this issue. The first time I resolved it by clearing my cache. That isn't working this time. I've looked at the help articles and clearing the cache is there. This is where I found it the first time. Any ideas?

upon enabling "do not connect to http" very, very, very often i got the attached error message when the site said it was https and it was very often reliable places like my bank and TaxAct. It seemed like such a good idea but i quit out of frustration.

I am looking for a toolbar addon that allows shortcuts to local applications. Example, shortcuts to notepad, word, calc etc... on a toolbar (like the firefox [CTRL]+[SHIFT]+[B]-toolbar)

There are launchers and such to launch applications, but I just want a dedicated toolbar for this where I can place shortcuts to firefox tools/utilities on there.

10+ years ago there was an addon for firefox that was a simple toolbar which could handle url's, local applications...anything as long as it could be created as a shortcut on the desktop. But I can't find it anymore it probably got dis-continued.

Any suggestion is very welcome.

So I wanted to join Rally, but I am concerned about granting access to my passwords and logins to the Rally clients. If I create a new profile and sign in with my only Firefox account will Rally clients have access to my passwords and logins from other profiles?

latest browser shuts down when I open a new session. After a few seconds it shuts off, I reopen it and its ok until the next time I open my notebook. The without fail it happens again. Began I think with the last update on a Windows 11 notebook.

I use a touch screen HP laptop. And when I shopping or just reading news and there is a picture on the page or site it pops up, even if I do not touch it. I can not see the text behind it. I know it is a setting some here because if i go to trouble shooting mode it does not happen. i have checked and unchecked every thing I can fine and nothing helps but trouble shooting mode. So when I close out and reopen Firefox trouble back. I have not tried other browsers because I only like Firefox

Hi I don't know what has happened to Firefox, I used it all the time for many years, now I can't sign in to Outlook and have more problems than ever. It asks me to sign into Microsoft but all I get is a blank page. Firefox was always more colourful than other browsers that's why I used it and nothing you do to try to fix this problem doesn't work, it creates more problems than it's worth, that's why I use Chrome, but I do want to use FF. Not all of us are IT experts and can't do all these complicated suggestions every web site offers, so can you make it so much easier for us to understand and for example get Outlook to open automatically as it used to do, until you can fix this I will have to use another browser. I really do like FF but it's impossible. Geoff.

One aspect of Firefox I value is the ability to customize headers and footers on printed webpages. This ability is important for my work.

I customized the headers and footers in the about:config interface according to advice posted [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1323433|here].

Recently, these settings don't take effect when I print webpages to pdf. I've triple checked that the settings are correct, but every time I print, the header and footer remain in the Firefox default configuration. Inexplicably, my preferred settings do take effect if I set the destination to "Fax." All other destinations don't work.

Is there any way to make these settings work again? Sadly, this might be a dealbreaker for me if not.

I clicked on 'block cookies' option( never seen this before but I trust you guys so....) when I logged onto firefox this morning, since then there are various apps I cannot get on to, eg Twitter, my banking through Nationwide, very frsutrating. So I tried to set a restore point prior to thios morning but that made no dofference, getting desperate now.

Hi, I'm wanting to add QANTAS Shopping Points-Prompter to my add-ons. It says that it is available for Firefox but each time I try I get 'Oops, we can't find that page'. I've been liaising with QANTAS and they say there is no issue at their end, and I have downloaded it with other programs i.e. Chrome. Can you assist me please as I would prefer to use Firefox but that won't be possible if I can't get this add-on.

I have several webpages that are saved on mac using firefox with option that "save page completely".(right-click, save page, webpage-complete). I have both same name htm file and folder which contents saved in on windows PC, on same directory. I also checked all images and files inside folder is saved correctly. When I click .htm file on windows, only text is displayed, no image and simple js is not displayed. I previously checked save complete page functions properly on mac.

I just upgraded from a Windows 10 PC to a new Windows 11 PC. Under W10, the Home icon appeared in the top left of the screen, to the right of the Reload icon. But as you can see, it has disappeared. How can I get it back? I have clicked around all the options I can find, but nothing...

Recently some programs, such as Word, are opening behind the browser window, so the only way I can access them is by shrinking and moving the browser. I also find that when a program does open in front of the browser, (as did Excel just now, I am unable to pull the browser window back to the fore without shrinking or closing the app window - ie closing excel - as I did just now. I have tested this in Chrome and Edge, and they seem to behave just fine, so the problem would appear to be with Firefox settings, but I can't locate a setting to tackle this.
