I have Dlink web cams. They are only accessable via a MyDlink app. The app is only compatible with Firefox 51 or 52. How do i get older versions running on my laptop?

I have been using Firefox for a long time certainly all this century, I regret to say that you have done something to the system such that I am unable to get into online banking and on some sites I get a message something to do with a frame whatever that is. I regret to say that i have been forced to make Edge my default browser When you have cured the problem please advise and I will revert to making Firefox my default. Many thanks Graham Blackburn

How does one migrate Firefox bookmarks and passwords from an old computer to a new computer?

There are four computers involved in this shuffle. Two new, one being retired, and one being repurposed. The only thing we haven't been able to figure out, is how to migrate Firefox's information from one computer to another one.

And, we've been working on this since Christmas. Edge, Brave, and Chrome took minutes. Combined.

But, transferring the information on Firefox has been impossible. Yes, I've read the help topics. No, they were not helpful. Firefox will not accept either the backup or export files from the old Firefox across multiple computers.

Yes, I have Sync. And, no, that hasn't worked either.

So, what is the next step?

When Firefox updated on my Windows 7 computer, I could no longer access my email on Outlook.com. I had to revert to an earlier restore point on my computer (and thus the previous version of Firefox) to use Outlook.

In trying to startup browser I get this message: The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem. I tried to uninstall the browser, but it would not let me. Help!

bold textI am a longtime Firefox user and it has been excellent. Firefox is my browser. For approx. the last 2 weeks it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to load my outlook for my emails. I have reloaded Firefox and the problem remains. I downloaded Google Chrome and set it up as my browser and Outlook and my emails load instantly. What is the problem with Firefox?

Hello guys, so my Computer crashed and was stuck in a bootloop and I needed to hard reset it. Now my Firefox passwords,bookmarks etc are gone. How can I recover them, they are very important?

After a recent migration of everything from an old PC to a new one, the Firefox logo does not appear in any of the HTML file icons on my new computer. They are all blank.

It apparently a problem unique to Firefox, and only involves the display of the Firefox logo. Although the icon is blank, when it is clicked, the document is opened by Firefox.

If I right-click on a blank HTML document icon and select "Properties", to the right of "Opens with:" is the Firefox logo. If I then click "OK", the Firefox logo remains in the "Properties" window, but the icon remains blank.

If I click on "Change", select "Microsoft Edge" and click "OK", the "Microsoft Edge" logo appears to the right of "Opens with:", and the HTML document icon also displays the Microsoft Edge logo.

There is a similar result when I select "Google Chrome", "Internet Explorer", or even "Notepad". The corresponding logo appears in the HTML document icons.

I have attached screenshots of old PC and new PC.

Any and all suggestions are welcomed.

I downloaded firefox yesterday on my windows 11 and I assumed that is my now my firefox browser as default, how can I tell if I have the firefox browser on my laptop?

It seems like no matter what I do, I can't get Firefox to download files from Google Drive. It loads for a moment, then it says "The page isn’t redirecting properly". I have confirmed that it's only Firefox because I can download files from Google Drive with Google Chrome. I have disabled Enhanced Tracking Protection, selecting the Standard Enhanced Tracking Protection Setting, and even refreshing Firefox. Though, I noticed that it only works on incognito mode for whatever reason.

swapped PC today, meaning full format and everything new, tried logging in to Firefox but I'd forgotten my password so I reset it, does that mean everything saved on my account got reset?

Could I somehow verify my identity as the same user and get everything I had going on my Firefox account on a different PC back?

The last time I updated Firefox it forgot my open tabs and browsing history. I never want to update Firefox again so how do I disable this annoying popup about a new version? If I cannot eliminate this I will change to another browser.
