Windows 11 - Just updated. Firefox - Just updated.

Just upgraded to Firefox 111.0. Now my Yahoo! Mail will not load. Worked fine before.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

I changed nothing with the cookies...unless Firefox update did.

I downloaded an emailed PDF, then saved it to a folder on my windows PC. The image includes the bookmarks, even when I turned off "show sidebars." How can I have only the original page I want without bookmarks?

Hello, as of this morning, none of the bookmarks I save on my android phone are syncing across to my PC. When I open my PC, I can see that sync is still working (as all open tabs on my phone are showing as open on the Tabs Pickup screen). I can see that several pages I bookmarked yesterday have saved without issue, so this is something that's happened today. I have my PC set to clear history whenever I close the browser, but I've manually cleared all history and cache. I've also manually synced. I've gone into settings and checked that Bookmarks are still selected as one of the things to Sync.

I have gone to about: sync-log and this is what I see:

Can anyone help? I've been using Firefox for years on my PC, but have only recently started using the Firefox app on my phone and I love the sync feature. Many thanks.

I have a feeling I know the answer, but wanted to confirm. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to reset my PC. Upon doing that and downloading Firefox all of my data is gone. Bookmarks, saved logins, etc. all gone. I thought once I logged into my Firefox account everything would be there. I've logged into my account on other computers in the past and all my stuff was there but not this time. Now it's saying all of my stuff (profiles, etc) was created today. Is my stuff really gone forever? I thought the whole point of the Firefox account was so I could just login and have everything sync.

I use Firefox to access Facebook live, from which I live stream. Starting in the last few weeks (I don't know when exactly, sorry), I now get this error message (in the stream Event log) when I stream:

Too low key frame rate (currently 0.13 key frames/second; recommended minimum 0.25 )

And I get a separate warning from Facebook that the key frame rate is too low, and will result in poor video quality.

If I stream from Chrome, I don't get the error (but Chrome has other problems), so I think it must be related to Firefox. Is there anything I can do about it? Thanks.

This release changes the function of the 'wheel' on a mouse.

Instead of scrolling up & down a page, it now 'zooms' in and out.

Is this deliberate? Or, is it a bug?

I recorded USB webcam pictures with MJPG_streamer and converted them to mp4 using

  ffmeg -r 20 -pattern_type glob -i "*.jpg" -c:v libx264 test.mp4

Firefox complains "video can't be played because the file is corrupt" Google Chrome and VLC have no problems playing the file.

What options for ffmpeg do I need to create the mp4 files so that firefox can play them?

With Windows 10 autofill with Firefox never worked for me even though the appropriate options were checked. I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and it worked! So happy. But that was only for about 2 weeks. And then a couple of days ago it stopped working. (Maybe from a Firefox update??) It's really frustrating and tedious even with the passwords being filled automatically when I start the login process with the user name. Is there anything that can be done?

I installed the Mail Link Enhancer add-on. It works, sort-of. The subject line and other fields included after the ? in the mailto address do not get filled in. Looking at the add-on info, the developer is Nick, but there is no contact info in the More Information section of the add-on profile. The add-on hasn't been updated since 2020, so I'm fairly certain that things changed since then and that's why it isn't working, but I'm no expert.

Dear Team, I have a situation when I copy a certain text from the Viber desktop app to the firefox browser, the firefox browser cashes for about 15 seconds where I cannot use anything in the browser then it comes back to normal, I've tried on Chrome and Edge and it's normal, Please help..

Checked the update on Fire Fox and it is up to date. web site connect with Microsoft Edge but gives the error

What is my next stem

When using Microsoft Outlook Online, I cannot right click and paste into the body of the email when using Firefox. The paste function does not even show up as an option. This use to work until I downloaded the most current version of windows 11. I can CTRL V and it will paste. It works on Edge and other browsers.

Calendar has 22 categories and an option to add Custom Categories. However, any custom categories I have added whilst editing an entry only seem to get saved in that entry, not in the list. If I need to use that category again I have to enter it again - every time! It seems logical to me that adding a category means it gets to stay in the list and I'd also expect that it would then be sorted apha-numerically.

Is it possible to edit the category list somewhere in FF?

Having a long list of bookmarks, I used to be able to scroll to the bottom, chose a bookmark there and after closing the page and opening bookmarks again, it has stayed focused around the last used one. Now, when I open bookmarks again, it has reverted back to the top and have to scroll all the way down again to the one I want. This happened since the latest update. I have not been able to find any solution in settings. Can anyone point me to a solution?
