Hi all ,

i have one website which downloads the content (image/video/html) and save in localStorage also i have service worker who fetches those files.

while downloading the files from one url lets assume ( download.files.com) firefox downloads correctly , but when my service worker tries to fetch the html file from its own url ( url/content/files/downloadedHtml.html) its gives  404 not found , but when i open same url ( url/content/files/downloadedHtml.html) in second tab its giving 200OK. 

also in network tab it gives me "NS_BINDING_ERROR" .

Everything worked normally for me for 2 years, but recently i decided to reinstall windows. So i did it, downloaded firefox on raw system and now i get this error on some youtube videos. I tried everything i could find but nothing fixed this issue. It pops up with firefox account, without it, in private vindows, in regular ones, with addons, without them. I tried reinstalling firefox, i updated every driver, i use google DNS, but it still doesnt work. In edge, chrome etc. theese videos play fine

I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY ORIGINAL FIREFOX THUNDERBIRD BACK ON MY COMPUTER. I AM ELDERLY AND DO NOT WANT A LOT OF DIFFERENT ITEMS OR CHANGES. I HAD NO PROBLEM USING WHAT I HAVE HAD FOR YEARS !!!!!!!!!

So slow I almost think MSFT AI has invented a thing that trips you up... After all, they're the fallback. Just saying.

I have MSFT 11 on a strong Nvidia gaming laptop. It's a fast machine. Once Firefox is open everything works fine and fast. It's just the opening.

What is the compatibility using Google Meet with Jamboard / is it fully supported using Firefox? A simple Google Meet video call works fine. But I want to share a Jamboard or Google Doc during a Google Meet session, and it's not working. I tried to follow the instructions on this link: https://support.google.com/meet/answer/10540294 That is, I opened the Jamboard and looked for the Meet icon at the top, but it wasn't there. When I tried the same thing using the Chrome browser, the Meet icon was there and I had no problem sharing the Jamboard during the meeting.

I would prefer to continue using Firefox browser, but will have to switch to Chrome if the problem persists. FYI - I am using a Mac

It even happened while I was playing MMOs, making it crash.

I am using Zone Alarm Antivirus + Firewall, which does not find any malware on my computer. I NEVER use MSN news, so for the time being I placed the site on block list.

I am very concerned with FF (up to date) launching on its own, regardless which site it opens; that could be a breach of security in FF code itself.

I use the closed captions (CC) in YouTube videos with FireFox. Lately I have been seeing videos that seem to misbehave. At the very start of the video, ALL the captions display at once, one after the other. Then, as play continues there are no more captions. Most videos still show captions normally, that is, captions appearing only when the dialog matches them. But a few videos misbehave by showing all the captions at once. Here is one such video.

I noticed this misbehavior within the last month and assumed that the video was doing something peculiar with the timing of the captions. But when I use the YouTube Show Transcript option to display the captions and associated timing outside the video, the transcript looks quite reasonable.

One further oddity, if I take that same URL and load the video in a different browser, for example, Chrome, the captions are displayed normally.

I recently got help (thank you, Cor-El!!) and was able to put Firefox into compact mode. It's still not enough. Is there anyway to make even compact mode smaller? After websites add their own headers and all, it now leaves me about 2 inches of working space; it's better than one inch but isn't enough to see things.

I've been trying to keep going back to version 99 (darker attached screenshot in blues) but it isn't being allowed. The other screenshot (lighter, in oranges and pinks) is the current version in compact mode. It's a bit better, but still is not good.

Is there any way I can change the height of the headers myself? Or can I ask someone else to do it? I'd like it about half to 2/3 the size it is now, even in compact mode. Can I do that? If so, how?

Or, can I switch things around so the headers are at the side of the screen? This is a standard 15" diagonal screen laptop currently running Windows 10.

I have one Firefox profile with work and personal stuff, and am creating another profile just for work. I have exported the passwords from the first profile and deleted all my personal ones, so the Excel file just have personal passwords. I am looking for a way to import this file into my new Firefox profile. I see how to do that from another browser, but not from a file or another Firefox profile. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello team, hope you're doing well. I purchased a new laptop recently(HP Omen 16 with RTX 3070Ti). I installed Kali OS via VMware, which runs on my host machine(Windows 11).

Everything seems to be working fine in Kali, except when I try to play any video via Firefox Browser, it lags a lot and is very choppy. At first, I thought it was the issue with Kali hence, I reinstalled Kali and tried again. The issue still persists. I then did a clean Windows 11 install and tried everything again right after Win11 was set up, but I still couldn't find a solution. Tried all the methods which I could find online, but still, nothing worked.

I tried again, but this time with Windows 10 Pro on VMware. The issue was resolved and everything worked perfectly fine when videos were played on Microsoft Edge.

I've installed the Firefox browser on my host machine, and everything runs smoothly on my host machine(Windows 11), but the issue occurs only when videos are being played in the Firefox browser via Kali on Vmware/VirtualBox. I had asked many known people, but none of them have ever faced this issue with Firefox to date. Neither did I with my previous laptops. This is the first time something like this has occurred.

Issue: Any Video, from any site, when being played in Firefox Browser via Kali OS in Vmware/VirtualBox lags a lot and it is super slow(even when the video speed is set to normal). The audio that comes out from each video is like a robotic voice and it is super slow and laggy.

Kindly help and I really hope that we can resolve this issue!!!

After the latest update, "synced tabs" suddenly appeared in my history menu above Recently Closed Tabs. I don't use syncing of any sort so this is just a nuisance. How can I get rid of it?

The websocket is working all the browser except only firefox. It gives error:
Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at wss://cstechnologyindia.com/websocket1.
I am trying to solve it from past 2 days.
I'm using a shared hosting. The hosting provider is saying that everything is perfect from our side. Now I'm hopeless. Please solve my problem anyone.  Please check added image.

if i have the "clear cache" addon: and i have 2 browser instances open, when i clear the cache, does it clear both instances or just the one whose button i clicked ?

Firefox is Generating Error Messages. I use a password manager and know the correct ID and Password is being used. Twice recently, I have had to resort to Microsoft Edge to get around denial of access by Firefox. What do I need to do with Firefox to eliminate the denial of access of a website?

After installing Apple Ventura, and trouble with User Accounts, Firefox won't open, giving me the error message about not finding or having a Profile.

I did all of the suggested fixes on the Help pages, renaming files with "OLD" etc., finally deleting the entire Firefox folder in Library/Application Support, and the program still won't launch and gives me the same message about not finding a "profile."

Please advise how I can eradicate every trace of Firefox on the computer and start over; the program should create a new profile and let me use the program, but it's refusing to do so.
