When I try to make a Google search I get the following message, "I'm not a robot" with a reCAPTCHA: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?". This happens on Firefox, but not Chrome or Edge. If I 'Allow' Google in the 'Exceptions - Cookies and Site Data' then I do not get the message, but it takes several seconds for Google display the resulting page. However, if I delete the cookies/cache the message will return and I have to redo the reCAPTCHA. I have scanned with Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Hitman Pro, Trend Micro House Call and Microsoft Defender, nothing detected. Running Win 10 (64) with 'Extended Security Updates', Firefox 147.0 (64), no additional Extensions or Plugins. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

Trying to access search Home Depot, Lowes, Tractor Supply gives errors. Works with Chrome. Started about 2 weeks ago or so. I use Starlink, no VPN, tried disabling Ad Blocker, Clearing cache for Lowes, no Add ons, but still doesn't help.

Error msg from Tractor Supply is: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/catalog/lawn-garden?" on this server.

When I try to access a function of my banks website I get the message: Authorization has been denied for this request

Late last year this occurred when using FireFox but not Chome or Edge. I have contacted my bank and was told I need to add an exception to the Manage Exceptions list. I did that and I was able to access that function of the site. Now the error is occurring again. This time I figured out what the URL was that needed be added. All other functions of the site work fine without these exceptions.

My question is: what are the security ramifications of this and what do I tell my bank so they fix this? Does this make their site less or more secure? Is it necessary to fix this?

Windows 11; FF 146.0.1. All updates installed.

I have messenger loaded but with Firefox i can not video call when i want to call a friend or family. I have no way to call any one i do have a web cam. do i need to go to Chrome every time i want to call. Messenger has stopped desktop messenger that was how i could call but now i can not is there some way to Facebook video call on Firefox please let me know thanks I want to stay with Firefox why is there no way to get video calls on Facebook??

I recently installed an rtx 3060 12gb on my old system (Win10, ga-h77-ds3h gen3 mobo + xeon ivy bridge cpu). I installed latest Nvidea Studio drivers. Everything seems fine apart from Firefox, which showed visible artifacts/flickering lines on the screen. I disabled hw acceleration in Firefox settings and now instead of the lines I just see micro dots which change position frequently. As recommended by AI i changed some other settings in about:config but the tiny dots are still there. Starting Firefox in safe mode they are still there. On MS Edge its fine, there are no dots/artifacts.

Is there something else that might fix this or there is nothing that can be done, its just how the rendering engine works on older systems and rtx 30s cards?

When contacting my bank which I have been able to do for years I find that the login page of the bank opens and i put in the sign in details and send then nothing happens apart from the indicator just keeps on going round

I have been trying for WEEKS NOW to sign into my bank! The bank can use a TEMPORARY password to access my account but once that's over, when I try to log into my bank I STILL CANNOT LOG IN!!!!!!!!!! WTF has happend to Firefox after that last "update" what ever it was they changed, made it IMPOSSIBLE for me to log into my BANK. The problem is NOT the bank it's FIREFOX & FIREFOX NEEDS TO FIX THIS CONNECTIVITY PROBLEM SOON IF NOT SOONER!

I have no ability to connect to the IRS.gov account log in page. When attempting to do so, the link reverts to a maintenance page, with the hopeful message: "We apologize but there seems to be an issue completing your request. Please try again in a few minutes." An error URL is also attached.

This is not a new problem and has been ongoing for over a year. I have found several messages in the Mozilla support system describing the exact same problem from different users. There does not seem to be a fix that has been found. The information that I have found regarding the IRS website does not suggest that it will only work with Chrome or Chrome based browsers. But I can easily use the site with Edge.

There are several sites that I am unable to access with Firefox that force me to use Edge. I understand that Firefox has its security idiosyncrasies. But As this number climbs, and to include what are public facing government sites, a question I will soon ask is why use the Fireofox browser?

i asked a few days ago i am on Firefox have been for years and do not wan to have to change. I am trying to video call with my family from messenger and when i try it say it can not on Firefox. I've been a Firefox user for a very long time with no real problems, but this one may force me to move to Chrome. Recently, I've noticed that some things show up or work in Chrome, but they don't work in Firefox. I've encountered this problem more recently and it seem to be getting worse. Just today, I had a problem with the V.A. and AMC theater websites. Is there a workaround to this problem. It's going to get bad if even the government is using google extensions.

I'm having issues using Firefox with the Facebook site. Groups are slow to load and sometimes the chat and notification windows take forever to load with shimmering panels or a wait cursor displayed. I've cleared the cache and deleted the cookie, but that didn't rectify the issue. I don't have a problem with Edge.

when i login my google account on firefox they say this browser is not try another browser. and if you already use supportive browser then try again and if click on try again and try it they still show me same statement.

Onedrivelive.com displays (now already 2 months) a blank screen when opening from a "your memories from this day" email (coming from ******@onedrive.com ). Screen of rolling, blank gibberish appears. And by gibberish I mean the screen is brownish with waves of dark/light color going back and forth across the screen. it only happens when I open the link in Firefox, NOT for example in Edge. WHY IS THIS ERROR IN FIREFOX?

Facebook simply isn't loading in Firefox anymore - it loads in Edge on my PC just fine and on my Mobile Android Browser .

Ok, this happens every so often. I use a Laptop running up to date Win 11. For the last several days, when I try to get on Facebook, Firefox doesn't log me in all the way. Pages are just frozen and I can't do anything. I back out, I reboot, but nothing works so just now I logged into Edge and am just flying around Facebook! I have changed nothing so it is not me or my machine. Why does Firefox do this? I love it and have used it for years but this drives me crazy!! Thanks

I recently ported from chrome to firefox about 3 days ago and was tryin to access the dropdown menus on this website https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/governments/government-id/bc-services-card/your-card/get-a-card

I realized it wasn't working so I turned off my adblocker (ublock origin), refreshed the site and still not working.

Also attempted to use troubleshoot mode and still does not work.

Cleared cache + cookies and used troubleshoot mode and nothing working still.

I lastly checked the website was working by opening the same link on chrome after all that and it works perfectly fine over there. Any ideas what could possibly be the issue?? I basically have a fresh install of firefox with no changed settings besides anything that might of been copied over from Chrome when firefox automatically asks you to migrate your stuff over, and used the troubleshoot mode + clearing cookies and cache

There is supposed to be Windows 11 on this computer, but something is saying Windows 10 didn't support something the end of Oct. I was on the site I'm trying to reach yesterday and there was no problem.

My firefox is on the latest version and up-to-date but will not access my home router which l normally us ip address. When trying to acess in edge works with no issues I am using windows 11 and all ok but wish to use Firefox And the IP adress is corect Can you advise
