I have my settings set to automatically update Firefox. Earlier this week, Firefox 131.0 was installed through this automatic update. Since then, Firefox repeatedly and randomly crashes, and I have no idea why because it did not happen with previous Firefox versions. There seems to be a bug in the new release that is causing this.

Restore gadget screen width to default 1/3 of screen, not 1/2. Gadgets are now too wide for easy reading, they were always 1/3 of the screen until recently. Did I inadvertently make that change, or was it part of some update?

So recently on the latest Firefox version 128.0.3 (64-bit) I have seen blank pages very often. Be it me trying to search for something using google or opening results of such searches, my Firefox just displays a blank page. Sometimes it's the fifth tab, sometimes it's the second tab - but it has happened a lot within the last week. At first I thought I might be running out of RAM but that doesn't seem to be the case because next tab opens and plays nicely as seen in first screenshot. I'm running Windows 10 x64 and have no plans on going Windows 11 ever, but this is just silly.

I have checked all the settings I can think of having read your help articles, and the bookmarks on my laptop are still not syncing with my desktop. Can you tell me what I can do to fix this? Thank you.

I have been a Foxfire user for many years, but lately a number of issues are making me go to Chrome more and more often. Images are missing on many pages after page 1. Pages with images are very slow to load, even though the images are not being displayed. Some commercial websites won't allow me to access them at all (Eddie Bauer is an example,) often displaying an "Access denied" message.

Also, I am forced to log in almost every time I access sites (Yahoo mail and Amazon are examples that I access daily.) With 2-factor ID, this is a big issue because my phone is usually at the other end of the house.

These things don't happen with Chrome. Is there a way to fix them in Firefox?

Firefox will not open this website (it is my personal photography website.) I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. Seemingly, every other website, but this one will open using Firefox. I have always been able, to use Microsoft's browser, to open this website, except, now, they no longer support W7/64. Thanks, for any help, David Johnson

When I attempt to watch videos on YouTube, the playback is consistently choppy. This occurs regardless of the video’s quality setting, and it happens both on Wi-Fi and cellular data. The video frequently pauses to buffer, even though the loading bar indicates that the video has already buffered up to a certain point. Additionally, I notice a significant drop in video quality, and the screen sometimes freezes while the audio continues to play. The problem persists across different videos and channels, suggesting it is not specific to any particular content.

I'll try placing this question here in hopes that someone knowledgeable may have a solution

What in the addon translator program could or would cause an upset in the webpage layout when the translator is active?

One forum that I am a member of which is not English requires my using a translator, up until now I've not made the use of an outside translator in that forum. Now that I'm using Firefox & there is an internal translator supplied I'm making use of it & said translator is reconfiguring the website layout. Disable the translator & the webapge returns to its normal width display, apply the translator & the webpage items are being *squeezed* from the right to left. Any ideas as to what would cause this?

Version: Firefox 129 Ubuntu/Debian I'm using the Proton theme in Firefox and would like to revert the tabs to their previous, non-floating style. I've tried using the [profile]/chrome/userChrome.css method and enabling toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets, but this hasn't worked. Is there another way to achieve this? I have been using Firefox on my HP laptop for about 2 to 3 years. The current version is 130.0 which auto downloaded about a week or 2 ago. Now I am unable to login to my eTrade account unless I remove cache. The URL for the site is https://us.etrade.com/home/welcome-back. When I first click it, a tab pops up which is labeled Investing, Trading and Retirement with a dot on that tab that continues moving left to right to indicate it's trying to bring up the login page. It never times out. I noticed while it's doing that, there is verbiage down on the bottom left corner of the screen that says "Read c.evidon.com" which never goes away. If I go to Firefox settings and delete cache, the login screen will pop up after I restart Firefox. So I can end up logging in, but once I logout of eTrade and try to come back in, the same problem occurs. Never had this issue before but now is somewhat of a pain every time I need to get to my eTrade account. I also have Brave on my laptop and I don't have that issue when using it.
