I have an answer to a sent email to my firefox "relay" address and cannot find a way to retrieve it from that "relay" email. How do I access that generated email site?

Recently the reels in my Facebook newsfeed will be black and not play when clicked on. All workarounds have been tried. These included , Restart machine ( laptop Dell Lattitude E 5530)( I know, ancient. Windows 10) go to settings in Firefox, Privacy and Security then clear cookies and cache. This works, the reels play, until I visit another website, then the issue is back. Simply going to Settings and clearing does not work. The entire flow has to be redone. I had my Internet Security remote control and invesigate. Same thing. We uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled to no avail. Is there any fix for this? Thanks. Hi I am a long time user of firefox because i love its customization and tools available to help me with my work and personal life. Recently i have been ordered to remove Firefox from the company laptop as it was deemed insecure by the IT and security department. I have been told to use MS edge and Google's Chrome. Their reasoning is "An inconsistent comparator in xslt/txNodeSorter could have resulted in potentially exploitable out-of-bounds access. Only affected version 122 and later. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 136 and Firefox ESR < 128.8." I do not know what this means. Is there something i can tell my IT department to argue against the directive to only use either Edge or Chrome. Best regards, F Silva

I had a problem some months ago and my filters were compromised, so I was put on hundreds of mailing lists from commercial sites all over the world. I still get a new one once in a while, but there's one persistent one that doesn't have an 'unsubscribe' option and--despite repeatedly marking it as 'Spam' and trying to block it via a filter STILL keeps getting thru, generally an email or two about their products per day. Is there any way to report these people as a nuisance or block them totally? The problem isn't earth-ending but it is Vexing. Thanks.

Ok, there are a couple things that seem related and are worrying me.

First, every time lately that I have signed in to something new (new online account, FEMA, etc), when the little window pops up to ask if I want to save the log in info, it doesn't have the password I entered, but instead an immense string of characters (I'd say several hundred) AND I just saw this last time as I was erasing the password, that it actually looks like it might be a web address (I just briefly saw http:// before it was erased)

The next thing that has just happened today (Is black Friday now like solar flare ID theft Friday or something?!?!) is that when I tried to sign in to...I think it only happened on Amazon...when I clicked on the email/user box it took me to my saved passwords page. Every time. I couldn't even enter the log in because it would just go to passwords. That's really really worrisome.

And, then, the last thing that I haven't had a problem with so far since getting a new computer is every now and then my computer would all of a sudden just start doing things on it's own. I was logged in to an online store once that had my card saved and my computer just ordered everything in my cart. Once I was browsing on the library and it cancelled all the books I had on hold. I have video where it would just start entering random stuff in fields.

I have changed my keyboard and the keyboard I have now is wired.

Any ideas on what this might be? Or do I really have some serious bad guys out there messing with me?

I like to prune my browser history manually to keep things I might need to get back to in the near future, but don't want to clog up my bookmarks with, and get rid of the rest. As of version 133, this has been made a lot more difficult, unless I'm missing an option somewhere. - In Settings, there's only the "all or nothing" approach for browser history, no way to be selective. (You can be selective when deleting cookies, but not history.) - In the History sidebar, where I used to do this, you can group by date or site. I used both: Group by site to avoid deleting the recent stuff I want to keep, and group by date to delete old things I no longer need (anything over a week old). It's no longer possible to delete e.g. everything from the gmail domain, or everything from October. I have to delete each. and. every. site. individually. For Gmail, for example, this means roughly a gajillion lines per visit. - In the sidebar, the keyboard Delete button no longer works either. I have to manually click the trash can icon, wait for it to vanish, click the next one...

Is the option to edit this efficiently completely gone, or am I missing something?

Hey all. Please help.

Periodically I delete my cookies and site data thus... Preferences/Privacy & Security/Cookies and Site Data/Clear Data. I used to use an add on for this but it stopped working.

Today it says I have "Temporary and cached files 1.3 MB". But it says that after Clear Data. It says it after I quit and restart Firefox. And I still says it after restart the computer. My Manage Data... and Manage Exceptions... boxes are empty. I have tried running Antivirus Zap Pro, which doesn't find anything sinister. How can I get rid of it... whatever it is? Can I access the folder and delete it manually?

I'm on an old Macbook Air, running Monterey. With the latest Firefox 132.0.2

I had my application running on the Firefox earlier version where the an insecure content loaded over http from my server was being displayed on my webpage which is on https.

But with the latest versions of firefox this solution is no more working. For example the below i have a pic loaded from my server path say http://10.16.15.2:9181/pic/Pic?id=41234 .Now i need this to be displayed on my secure web page application, but the firefox browser is automatically converting to a https path. See the output from the debugger console

" Mixed Content: Upgrading insecure display request ‘http://10.16.15.2:9181/pic/Pic?id=41234’ to use ‘https’ "

Kindly suggest a way to disable this auto conversion in the latest versions of firefox, as i have no option to update the front-end or back-end of my application.

Hi, I accidentally allowed notifications (while using Firefox) from a particular web site only to find out that now I get numerous notifications regarding phony virus alerts, etc. I am unable to block the notifications.

I searched the web for how to block a notification from a web site, but have not come up with any solutions.

In particular, I went to about:preferences > Privacy & Security > Permissions > Notifications. The web site is set to Block, but still the unwanted notifications continue. Perhaps the notifications are coming from a different web site that seems to be hidden?

I also quit Firefox and restarted Firefox, but the notifications continue. I also restarted my Macbook Pro, but that didn’t help either.

My facebook account keeps getting double logins and ip4 logins rather than ip6 addresses. I think my ex-employer has installed a certificate into firefox on my laptop. I know absolutely nothing about certificates and have never knowingly installed one into my firefox web browser. But after looking I seem to have a certificate, is this certificate something that is allowing someone else access to what I view on my browser or allowing access to my cookies? Would users normally have their own firefox user certificate installed that they are unable to remove with a year on the date? I have added 2 screenshots. Now that Mozilla/Firefox have joined Google on the dark side, who is everyone switching to? I would like something that works well in both Windows and android. I hear Opera can't be trusted and I don't like how there are like 6 difference versions of Opera in the android app store. DuckduckGo is just badly made IMO. Edge causes some glitches with one of the sites I use most. Should I try Brave? I just want a browser to BROWSE the web. I don't want AI. I don't need a VPN or adblock built in. I don't want a "gamer" browser. A decent local password manager would be nice but I don't want to have to make an account to use it. I know if the product is free, you are the product, so I would almost prefer a browser you pay for but oddly that doesn't seem to be a popular option. Probably because the user data the companies collect makes them more money then people would be willing to pay. Sad times. I miss the 90's.

Несколько месяцев мне говорили что разбираются а сегодня написали что проблем нет из службы поддержки игры и отправили решать проблему с браузером в службу поддержки браузера mozilla ссылаясь на то что он не корректно работает и у меня старая ос. I WAS ON A SITE AND IT BROUGHT UP THE COOKIE PAGE FOR FIREFOX TO PROTECT ME FROM PEOPLE OR COMPANIES FROM TRACKING MY BROWSING AND I COULD NOT GET BACK TO MY PURCHASE PAGE APP ACOOUNT I WAS ON. SO WHAT HAPPEN & WHY DID THIS COME UP?

How can i force such sites to stay at the link-address ans open that properly instead of even trying to redirect?
