I can't access "settings." When I click "Settings" a faint shadow around the edges of my screen appears, but the actual page does not load. Sometimes, Firefox itself won't open for several days so I've had to start using an alternate browser when this happens. Is this a known issue?

After update to 140.0.2, clicking on Firefox icon in the dock does nothing. The title bar says Firefox is active, but nothing shows on my screen. What changed? Did you reset something in my preferences?

i attempted to update my Firefox this morning and the app froze and refused to reopen after multiple attempts. i decided to throw the app away and re-download firefox on my desktop, but now have no access to my bookmarks, open tabs (history) and passwords. please assist!

Hey, Please my metamask is no longer opening over the past few days, its just showing the loading icon in an infinite looping continues and never stops and never opens. Attached the pics for the infinite loop below:

I currently use an extension to fill passwords, so I have passwords in firefox turned off. However, one of my logins shows an 'eye' which I believe is firefox wanting to provide the password. I don't know how the eye got there, as all my other logins work with the extension. I have to go to the extension and physically copy the password to paste it in the password box. If I go to firefox settings, I have no passwords set. How do I get rid of the 'eye' for that login?

Recently all my 100 plus Bookmarks all went to Grey Globes. Never had this issue in years with Firefox. I am working on Mac OS desktop version Ventura 13.7.5 and Firefox 140.0.4. How do I get all my bookmarks to come back to normal? I tried hard refresh and cleared my cache.

Yesterday I opened Firefox and found that it had completed a factory reset (without asking me) and I have lost all of my data and settings, particularly from plugins (Simple Tab Groups for example). I have a folder called Old Firefox Data on my desktop, and I have copied the files into the profiles folder from about:support, but I have still lost all my settings.

This is extremely frustrating and will take a lot of time to get everything back to how it was. Please let me know how to restore to my old state.

I can't remember my Firefox log in ID and password and I need to sign in. At the sign in window for Firefox there is not option to click on "forgot password" or "forgot User ID" . Does any one know how to recover that information?

Using iOS on Mac Mini desktop, I get no sound on democracynow.org but on the iPhone the sound works fine. Most other streams/videos have fine sound but not imdb.com on the desktop with iOS but again, fine on the iPhone.
