Hi everyone,

I am experiencing several crashes with no clear reason, I believe it has to do video players but I don't know much more than this. The browser is up to date and it crashes even in troubleshooting mode.

Additionally for a while now it is impossible to watch youtube in anything more than 360p, the option simply doesn't appear

As mentioned in the subject, the font style is terrible, forcing me to migrate to another browser as my work is suffering. I tried to find a solution but could not get it.

Pull-down tabs on websites not working properly on many webpages -- I'm on v131.0 (ARM [M1-MAX]) .

Clicking upon headings, SHOULD present an APPEARING pull-down menu, but the pull-down-menu is fleeting !

want to stop unwanted shortcuts from being placed on my home screen. I have tried settings in Home, and about:config but I cannot stop them. I want ONLY the shortcuts that I choose. When I try to delete them or dismiss from history, either they return immediately or duplicates appear - I do not know which. Please provide a solution to this problem. (I use Linux with Firefox 128.3.0esr)

(Incidentally in the midst of typing this message, I was suddenly transported to a Mozilla advertising page, and lost all my typing. Very annoying!)

I'm trying to livestream sports and some streams just keep lagging. The audio is fine but the video isn't. The streams work fine on Microsoft Edge. I've tried playing the video with all my extensions disabled and even removed, and also in troubleshoot mode. I've also tried clearing cookies, site data, updating drivers, but nothing works. This also sometimes happens on video hosting sites like streamff.com. Youtube still works for now. This has only been an issue for the last week or so.

I set Firefox as default browser on the OS, and I'm running two instances of Firefox on OSX, one is on a sockv5 tunnel for work and one is not proxied, for private browsing.

When clicking on links on other applications, say office, I don't get to decide which instance the link opens on. The instance links open on is randomly set after booting my computer and each time I boot it seems getting randomly set.

Is there a way to configure the default instance that links should be opened on?

Since the update last week I've had trouble loading pictures or even connecting to some websites. I cleared the cache but still have problems, especially with Facebook, but many others also.

Anytime I click a link in Firefox...whether it is in a search result OR in my email OR on a website...two duplicated tabs open every time. I noticed this was an issue a few years ago but it appears to have returned after the latest Firefox update last week. Has anyone else had this issue? Thank you, Brian

Since several days I have problems in using my mail-account at web.de The website starts and I can log in. But then my mails don't open up like they should. I called web.de and they said I shoud use another browser. And really when I use Microsoft Edge it is much better. I would like to use Firefox on my desktop further on. Could you give me a hint?

Hey there! System: Windows 10 x64, Firefox Nightly.

Problem: Out of the blue, when I start Firefox Nightly (I think 2-3 days ago), it just crashed with no extra info. I see the "window of the update process", it goes to the middle or to the end, immediately closes and doesn't bring up the Crash reporter. However! When I tried to run a Nightly Installer that I downloaded through Chrome, it quietly runs and then just opens up my browser no problem, profile and all. I checked and it seems to be the exact same .exe file (according to the Task Manager).

So in short: it breaks if I run it straight from my usual shortcut, or with .exe. But if I run the installer myself, the browser opens up fine.

However, the installer didn't bring any new updates that would fix the problem, I have this for 2-3 days now, I don't remember. I start working, I see I didn't fix it and run the installer again.

Any ideas on the fix? I would love to not lose my profile, settings and, if possible, tabs. I'll try disabling all the extensions after I post this, I don't think they contribute, though (seeing how the external Firefox Nightly Installer opens up my browser just fine).

i have a new Lenovo Yoga laptop. Previous laptop was a Yoga laptop. I could log in to Spotify with the previous laptop. I still can. I can't log in to Spotify on new laptop. I am being forced to log in with Microsoft Edge, which I hate! I read that I may need a Firefox add-on. What add-on? Help.

I've been having an issue recently with firefox where video players often won't load, and when they do load they are typically very slow to load even at low quality. It is affecting Youtube and Twitch.tv among others, but the videos play fine in Edge. I've tried clearing the cache, refreshing firefox, running in troubleshoot mode, and re-installing to no avail. As far as i can tell it probably started when 131.0 released.
