When I open Firefox on my computer, I get a blank page for my home page. I have attempted to change my home page using the drop-down choices, except for blank page choice. No luck! Help.

When trying to pair my phone with firefox already signed in to my macbook, I get this error:

"General application error

Something went wrong. Please try again later."

I tried refreshing firefox and trying to pair on a private tab, and none worked. Any potential fixes would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello, recently i reinstalled firefox and made a new profile from scratch because i thought the config: browser.search.context.loadInBackground did not work for me.

My problem: everytime i open a google tab (through context search or just a new google link) it opens in the background BUT then switches to it after like 1-2 seconds. this only happens with google links.

i have no idea what to do anymore, reinstalling did fix it till the last update i got today. now it is back.

No doubt I had something to do with the (fancy font uppercase in bold) B appearing in my Firefox header line as the first and left-most character (image attached). Anyone know the source for this and how to shut it and anything else it does off? I like many others I have read commenting about unwanted things thru the PC years that have a disdain of things that sneak through uninvited.

The other thing so far as I know had nothing to do with Mozilla or Firefox but I'll mention it in case someone has an idea. A product install by the same name permanently labeled an outboard drive with this label bold text'Roboform2Gobold text. I know how it got there, it was with the install the product by that name, which I uninstalled, and no one from that company would or couldn't tell me how to get rid of the relabeling it had done. Uninstalling the software didn't take it out, and no one in a general forum had any suggestions. I know the traditional approach of adding or changing a label, but change attempts don't affect this reminder of a poor product that I had decided not to keep. They refunded, but did not help with the changeless drive label.

Running FF115.23.1ESR on a Win7/32 box I use in network maintenance/configuration.

If I log into the modem main page and select from the side-bar menu, FF drops me back to the modem's login screen (Groundhog Day style). This behaviour is repeatable (endlessly) on:

• * another identical modem (same/latest firmware). These have repeatedly been factory reset and firmware reloaded. No change.
• * another Win7 box (/64) on same FF release.

Opera - reluctantly added on those same Win7 boxes - does not have this (mis-)behaviour.

Win10/64 running FF138.0.4 does not have this issue.

Up until about ten weeks back, the (then-current) Win7/X esr release did NOT have this problem.

Yes, I HAVE cleared cache/cookies repeatedly before sessions, to no avail. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> [EDIT:] The on-line modem/router emulator can be accessed at https://support.netcommwireless.com/e.../login.html The default un/pswd is admin/admin. Once in the main page, select "Advanced" from the left menu list. This (in the emulator) opens the Advanced page, as it should. In a normal situation here, it simply reverts to the login page.

Q1: Anyone have any experience like this, or any clues/suggestions?

Q2: To continue using these Win7 boxes in that role, am I forced to abandon FF?

Using Google Voice became unusable. Firefox too slow. Had been running just fine up till maybe a month ago when I finally gave in and allowed Firefox to update. Not knowing if it was a Windows or other issue I stupidly did a Windows reset and lost all my installed programs (including Firefox). I did a fresh install of Firefox and manually reentered passwords and bookmarks.

Ran fine for a day or two and is now again unusable. Cleared cache and appears to work OK at the moment but still sluggish.

EVERY TIME I CLOSE FF WHEN I REPOPEN IT, I END UP BACK AS IF I JUST INSTALLED IT. ALL MY BOOKMARKS ARE GONE, ALL MY EXTENSIONS ARE GONE, LIKE I JUST INSTALLED IT.

I'VE TRIED UNINSTALLING AND REINSTALLING AND IT STILL DOES IT.

Support, I'm using v115.23.1ESR & my OS is 10.14.5. When I'm logged into the Pinterest website, a page with different images is visible for viewing. When I click on an individual image on that page to view it in more detail, that page opens but there is no image visible. This problem started with v115.23.0. I was hoping that the update to v115.23.1 would eliminate this, but it is still occurring. So I'm hoping you can help. I'm also adding some images. In screen shot 1, I clicked on the Madonna & dolphin image. Screen shot 2 shows the result: no image.

I tried two other browsers and had no problems, Firefox is my default browser.

I've switched to vertical tabs as soon as they became available, and although I prefer using them, at the moment there is an annoying issue with them. If you have one or several pinned tabs, clicking one of them does show the corresponding page, but you can't interact with it until you click into it. To reproduce, have at least one pinned tab and a normal one. If you click on a normal tab and then press "Tab", the focus will start jumping between elements that are focusable. But if you click on a pinned tab, pressing "Tab" will first jump through the tab bar a few times before finally getting to the page: First, the tab itself will get the focus, then the "New tab" button, then the "Customize sidebar" gear icon, and only then does the focus move to the page itself.

What's annoying about it in practice is that one of my pinned tabs is a site that uses keyboard shortcuts for interaction, and whenever I click on it and start pressing keys, nothing happens. Then I have to click into the page once to move the focus to it, and only then does it become usable again.

So, it would be great if pinned tabs would behave the same way as normal ones, immediately focusing the page when clicked.

I have a setting that keeps some videos from appearing and playing i.e. on yahoo.com - I can't figure out what setting it is!!! Maybe it is an extension?? An add-on??? Suggestions please.

I am currently a victim of grave identity theft over several platforms which prevent me from smooth and segure sign ins, confirmations, password changes , etc. Safari is gravely affected, as a mother browsers. My last resort will be to stick to Firefox/ Mozilla gladly. Any advice to further my viver security? Thankfully…Sergio

I you can say love Mozilla Firefox and have been using it for a quite long time now ,but the issue i have with her it is a pure fact that every new version that gets pushed out is worse that previous one by many things like this 138.0.4 that after installing better say updating to it was has it done it has removed all my addressees from URL address bar ,furthermore ,the ones i do not want in previous versions i was like all of us able to delete simply and effectively by pressing shift+ delete which has not been so to say debunked or non working for quite a long time and only way to delete unwanted address from URL bar is to go to History and than find that site and push forget about this site which is annoying because like previous shift + delete which just did it's job of deleting the desired address ,method of deleting unwanted addresses from the URL bar is annoying,frustrating and a glitch in code i guess because without any reason what so ever do you want it or not the deleted address space will be populated by another even more annoying and non needed site and like that in circle ,i just want my URL ADDRESS BAR to be populated with shortcuts to the site which i want and need and that is all nothing more not Firefox to be populating my address bar with everything it get his hands on which frustrates to the point of madness cause in setting Firefox has been customized to populate address bar just with the shortcuts ,but i want them to be shortcuts i want ,i will need, i will use, and i will utilize not populated by some site i visited once 1000 years ago ! Thank you very much on your guidance and listening to problems each new version brings and if someone has a suggestion on how can i stop that and get out of Firefox what i want and need it for thank you i'll will be more than grateful on your support!
