Hello there. I had to recently wipe my computer on 4/12/2025. I forgot to sync my bookmarks and passwords. Is there any way I can possibly get these back? I don't know how far back Mozilla itself keeps files, I've been told they do but I'm not sure how far back.

i reinstalled windows and re downloaded firfox i logged into my firfox account like a normaly doo to get all my data but non of my data is getting synced it always works but it is not working no i need my data i have my passwords to all my account on it pls help

Lost my Passwords on my desktop and can't recover them through profile manager, I found them on my android phone and want to recover my passwords from there, but am worried if I try and sync to the desktop, the desktop might overwrite the passwords in the phone.

Hi, I just switched laptop< I no longer have my old one. I thought I'd just have log in to Firefox to recover all my information, like bookmarks and saved passwords, but now that I'm logged in, I can't find any of that. Is it possible I didn't save it? Can you help me recover it?

So recently I had reinstalled windows and reformated all my drives, I am also sure that this account is my only firefox account. But when i checked the sync data it shows only 1 sync data which is today 14/3/2025. I am also sure that I had left all my sync data as default therefore it should have automatically sync. But currently I do not have access to my bookmarks, etc

So.... I ended up getting a new laptop and I signed in on my mozilla account and it turns out I have lost everysingle bookmarks/saved stuff / passwords etc....

Now... the thing is I do not have my old laptop anymore cause it doesn't even turn on.. I did not make a backup cause I thought all this information is saved online...

What do I do now to get my old stuff back???

I've been trying to get this computer to work. The last time a clean install was done a few days ago Firefox immediately remembered my favorites, extensions (or one important one of them) and the configuration of the browser.

My old laptop computer completely died. I installed Firefox on my new computer. However, after signing back into Firefox, my stored passwords and tabs were not available. How do I find/recover saved login passwords and tabs? I am a long-time Firefox user and had a lot of stored information that I assumed would follow my account.

Hello Firefox team,

I did update my Mac to IOS 26.0.1 and I have lost all the history and bookmarks, I have the "Sync" enabled with my browser.

All my important data has been lost, can you please look into this and help me please.

I am contacting you because I have a colleague who lost all her bookmarks when migrating her Mac computer. She was syncing with her Professional account. When she migrated and used her account to recover her bookmarks, no data came back. Her laptop was wiped and then reinstalled, so it is not possible to recover any data from it.

Would it be possible for you to find his bookmarks?

I had sync turned on before I reinstalled my OS, and now I have lost everything. Is there anyway to recover the stuff that should be there? Yes or no. If yes please provide steps, and not the self help articles here as they are worthless.

I have two computers. Both sign into the same Firefox account. Both instances of Firefox are the same version (134.0.1 64-bit).

On my main computer, creating a new tab is set to Firefox Home (default), and clicking the "+" sign to create a new tab results in the recommendations appearing as seen in the first image (firefox_2025-01-19_17-42-57.png)

On the other computer, creating a new tab is set to Firefox Home (default), and clicking the "+" sign to create a new tab results in the recommendations appearing as seen in the second image (firefox_2025-01-19_17-43-57.png)

How to I get both instances of Firefox to do the same thing when creating a new tab, i.e. organize the recommendations like the second image?

Firefox will not open up my credit union's page when I click submit on the login page. I can open up the login page and go to my account when I use a private window. Why won't it open in the general window?????

I have the latest update of Firefox using win 10 with Firefox default browser. I recently accessed my Microsoft account and found most of my bookmarks there. I deleted them, rebooted, bookmarks were still in Firefox. Why is my personal choices saved to my Microsoft account.

You jerks deleted passwords and bookmarks I needed for work just because I reset my password to login. Why in gods name would you think that's a good idea? Why would I ever use your sync function if you're gonna delete my data the moment you get the chance?
