I have an answer to a sent email to my firefox "relay" address and cannot find a way to retrieve it from that "relay" email. How do I access that generated email site?

Recently the reels in my Facebook newsfeed will be black and not play when clicked on. All workarounds have been tried. These included , Restart machine ( laptop Dell Lattitude E 5530)( I know, ancient. Windows 10) go to settings in Firefox, Privacy and Security then clear cookies and cache. This works, the reels play, until I visit another website, then the issue is back. Simply going to Settings and clearing does not work. The entire flow has to be redone. I had my Internet Security remote control and invesigate. Same thing. We uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled to no avail. Is there any fix for this? Thanks. Hi I am a long time user of firefox because i love its customization and tools available to help me with my work and personal life. Recently i have been ordered to remove Firefox from the company laptop as it was deemed insecure by the IT and security department. I have been told to use MS edge and Google's Chrome. Their reasoning is "An inconsistent comparator in xslt/txNodeSorter could have resulted in potentially exploitable out-of-bounds access. Only affected version 122 and later. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 136 and Firefox ESR < 128.8." I do not know what this means. Is there something i can tell my IT department to argue against the directive to only use either Edge or Chrome. Best regards, F Silva

I had a problem some months ago and my filters were compromised, so I was put on hundreds of mailing lists from commercial sites all over the world. I still get a new one once in a while, but there's one persistent one that doesn't have an 'unsubscribe' option and--despite repeatedly marking it as 'Spam' and trying to block it via a filter STILL keeps getting thru, generally an email or two about their products per day. Is there any way to report these people as a nuisance or block them totally? The problem isn't earth-ending but it is Vexing. Thanks.

Ok, there are a couple things that seem related and are worrying me.

First, every time lately that I have signed in to something new (new online account, FEMA, etc), when the little window pops up to ask if I want to save the log in info, it doesn't have the password I entered, but instead an immense string of characters (I'd say several hundred) AND I just saw this last time as I was erasing the password, that it actually looks like it might be a web address (I just briefly saw http:// before it was erased)

The next thing that has just happened today (Is black Friday now like solar flare ID theft Friday or something?!?!) is that when I tried to sign in to...I think it only happened on Amazon...when I clicked on the email/user box it took me to my saved passwords page. Every time. I couldn't even enter the log in because it would just go to passwords. That's really really worrisome.

And, then, the last thing that I haven't had a problem with so far since getting a new computer is every now and then my computer would all of a sudden just start doing things on it's own. I was logged in to an online store once that had my card saved and my computer just ordered everything in my cart. Once I was browsing on the library and it cancelled all the books I had on hold. I have video where it would just start entering random stuff in fields.

I have changed my keyboard and the keyboard I have now is wired.

Any ideas on what this might be? Or do I really have some serious bad guys out there messing with me?

i just want to know who is the company owned buy? First of all, mods, if I chose the wrong category and this had to go in "customize settings and preferences" feel free to move it :)

So, for several reasons I decided to completely disable SSL and the old TLS 1.0 and 1.1. I still didn't decide if TLS 1.2 is still important or it's enough with 1.3 so for now I am leaving them both. I did this system wide, with PowerShell, following the instructions in THIS THIS article.

But then there's Firefox. I don't know if Firefox can establish SSL (or old TLS) connections despite the system "ban". But I came across THIS THIS article about how to enable TLS 1.3 in Firefox and when I went in about:config and I typed "security" I saw that there are a lot of voices with SSL and a lot more about TLS than just the security.tls.version.max mentioned in that article, so I am here to ask you what to do to be 1000% sure that all SSL and older TLS are completely disabled in Firefox, and that only TLS 1.3 is enabled.

If you have reasons to believe that disabling TLS 1.2 is not a good idea, let me know, but in THIS THIS article I've read that 1.3 is much better and it's anyway backwards compatible with 1.2 in case some server only supports 1.2, so I decided to leave only 1.3.

Hi, I accidentally allowed notifications (while using Firefox) from a particular web site only to find out that now I get numerous notifications regarding phony virus alerts, etc. I am unable to block the notifications.

I searched the web for how to block a notification from a web site, but have not come up with any solutions.

In particular, I went to about:preferences > Privacy & Security > Permissions > Notifications. The web site is set to Block, but still the unwanted notifications continue. Perhaps the notifications are coming from a different web site that seems to be hidden?

I also quit Firefox and restarted Firefox, but the notifications continue. I also restarted my Macbook Pro, but that didn’t help either.

My facebook account keeps getting double logins and ip4 logins rather than ip6 addresses. I think my ex-employer has installed a certificate into firefox on my laptop. I know absolutely nothing about certificates and have never knowingly installed one into my firefox web browser. But after looking I seem to have a certificate, is this certificate something that is allowing someone else access to what I view on my browser or allowing access to my cookies? Would users normally have their own firefox user certificate installed that they are unable to remove with a year on the date? I have added 2 screenshots. First, let me apologize if I picked a poor topic for this.

I log into a very sensitive site almost every day. Long ago I told Firefox NEVER to save the username or password. Long ago as in probably 2009. I let Firefox handle usernames and passwords for most sites, but never this one.

In the last few days, when I open the link to log into that site, there are two changes from what I had for years. One is that there is something in the Username field. It consists of a string of asterisks, then ends with the end of that username. The second change is that they box Remember my username is checked. I always uncheck it when I enter the proper username and password, but next time it starts out the same way.

What do I have to do to stop that site's login page from starting that way?

We use a privacy technology vendor named OneTrust to power much of our privacy infrastructure.

This morning, two websites reported Firefox users are encountering site functionality problems when trying to exercise their privacy rights, such as opting out of sharing data and targeted advertising. My team investigated and was able to reproduce the reported bug.

We discovered the cause of the bug is that Firefox's Privacy Enhanced Mode is by default blocking two domains from our privacy vendor OneTrust which are critical to the functioning of our CMP (Consent Management Platform): - cookielaw.org - onetrust.com

These two domains are used solely for the essential services needed to run our privacy software. They're not used for marketing, sales, or advertising. Blocking them not only causes site functionality issues it keeps our users from being able to exercise their privacy rights.

I've attached two screenshots here showing the network calls and domains.

Can Mozilla please quickly review this bug and remove these two domains from the blocklist powering Privacy Enhanced Mode?

The page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ai-chatbot lacks the list of data shared with the chatbot AI providers. It would be nice to know how it is done, how to review the data, and how pages can provide better data.

Hello, I think I may have asked about this in the past but cannot recall if I received an answer. Under Settings, I get the message "Your browser is being managed by your organization." This is my home computer and is not being managed by any organization. When I click for more information, it gives me a screen with the following information:

If I could get more information on this suspected error, or how to correct it, that would be great. Thanks!

"hi yes we're firefox, a private browser that prides ourselves on being without bloatware. but we're going to add ai integration! yay!" Are you kidding me? What is wrong with you? This new CEO joins and wants to destroy what Firefox *prides itself on* and WHY PEOPLE use it. I am very disappointed. I converted to Mozilla from Google years ago and have loved it ever since. It's such an absolute shame; I will have to find a new company to support. Was the point of Mozilla not to create private, secure programs? Do not integrate AI. We don't want it. We hate it. It's useless and it kills the earth. And I sure as heck won't be comfortable storing my passwords in my account anymore! You will destroy this.
