I updated to Firefox 141.0 and now Google Maps is not working correctly. When I look for directions the map does not show the route. If I go to street view I get a black screen. Google maps is working fine on Edge or Google on the same pc.

I've been using Firefox since forever but over the last couple of months, the auto translate subtitles (to English) hasn't been working when watching Youtube videos. There's a thread on the Youtube support site with nearly 40,000 posts of people with the same issue and tonight I was trying to watch a video where the hosts talk in Italian, so I use auto translate to English subtitles but no subtitles appear. It will show Italian language subtitles.

I've gone back through this Youtube channel's history trying videos I've previously watched from months/years ago when auto translate used to work but even they're not working now.

I decided to try the video in Edge browser and to my surprise the auto translate to English worked there. They also work in Chrome.

So what could be causing this issue on Firefox, which started about August time?

This is quite bizarre as I assumed all the processing/translation was done by Google/Youtube so in what way can Firefox be part of this issue?

To be clear, subtitles in the (foreign) language the people are speaking, works. Subtitles translated from that language to English (or other languages) has stopped working. Subtitles translated from that language to English IS working on Edge and Chrome browser.

Since the Tahoe upgrade I can't login to my google account because the 'Passkey' prompt that the system is supposed to automatically trigger, never eventuates as it used to in Sequoia. I am signed into my account on the same desktop using Safari but my preferred browser is Firefox, so this is quite frustrating.

Would it be possible to code in an F-key that would automatically send a URL to Chrome in the case where you attempt to view a page or video in Firefox and it hangs or just does nothing? Then with one key we could just be taken to Chrome where the page would work correctly! That would be just awesome! Firefox has really gone down the tubes as far as reliability is concerned. I only use it because I prefer the layout but when it fails (every day multiple times) Chrome is the solution and it always works. Why is this? Can't the FF folks write a decent package that works?

Hello. I am using Linux Mint 21.3 cinnamon and Firefox 144.0.2 When I use Google maps and the yellow small pointer (cartoon) to go on a specific street, the window come black when shifting to street view. My only extension is disabled, hardware acceleration unchecked, cache cleared and cookies cleared. I have made fresh install and nothing help. Troubleshooting mode allow street view to work fine but normal mode don't work. Google chrome work good. Chromium work good. And finally, Firefox work ok on my Linux mint LMDE 6.

Any idea where to go to solve this issue?

All of a sudden, I can't access several websites through Firefox that I have used for years -- but I CAN access them in other browsers, like Chrome and Safari. Also, Firefox no longer works with my password manager. Until about two weeks ago, I could always autofill login information, but no more.

What gives? I am up to date on my IOS (Sequoia 15.5) and on my version of firefox -- and my password manager app. Superfrustrating. I hate to have to turn to Chrome as my primary browser since I hate Google, but I might end up doing that and just not using Firefox anymore, after like 20 years of having it as my primary browser.

Latest version of Firefox browser (142.1) recently installed on my laptop and desktop both running Windows 10. The former continues to support Flightradar 24. The latter no longer does. Message reads 'Unfortunately, your current browser does not support WebGL2 . . . most major browsers (including Firefox) do'! Is there a reason for this anomaly, please? Plus a solution? FireFox has been very slow and "sticky" when accessing some sites. I have Windows 11 installed on a Dell XPS8930 desktop. Other browsers (Brave and Edge) do not have this same problem. The problem most often shows up with FOX NEWS.com. Is there an issue with FireFox and FOX News?

I have messenger loaded but with Firefox i can not video call when i want to call a friend or family. I have no way to call any one i do have a web cam. do i need to go to Chrome every time i want to call. Messenger has stopped desktop messenger that was how i could call but now i can not is there some way to Facebook video call on Firefox please let me know thanks I want to stay with Firefox why is there no way to get video calls on Facebook??

I have at least one question on the support forum which has never been answered. So I went to Bugzilla, and discovered dozens of YouTube issues under the Open/Unconfirmed status.

I can reproduce my problems. I'm sure others can reproduce their problems. Nothing is done. NOT EVEN admitting there is a problem.

If I can't use YouTube on Firefox (I can't), then why am I using FF? It is one of the biggest sites on all of the internet. But FF apparently doesn't care if it doesn't work.

I installed a extension called MAL-Sync and tried to authenticate with one of my accounts. When I went onto the websites Simkl, MyAnimeList and AniList, I was not able to access some features. For Simkl none of the 'buttons' worked, disallowing me from logging in. MyAnimeList gives a "400 Bad Request." AniList says that it requires JavaScript. I checked to see that I have java script enabled, which I do since Firefox has it enabled by default. I checked my extensions and after disabling the only one that said disabled java script it still doesn't work. What do I do?

Amazon - keeps loading and loading without ever finishing, only displaying half the page. YouTube Videos need to preload to avoid buffering. Certain websites can not be reached at all, failing with error message "Looks like your network is blocking this page" or similar. Etsy is not loading at all, just a blank page.

All these pages work fine in other browsers, so I don't think it's my network. I was not able to identify a specific error across all pages via Console. I have tried a few recommended troubleshooting tips, but no change so far. This has been going on for a while, long enough for me to reinstall Firefox - also no change. I'm on version 146.0.1

What is going on?

I have spent hours with Tech department and digital assistand department at Directv. Today they are telling me as long as I use Firefox I will be unable to access my account. I have paid to have my computer checked out and was told that it was updated and the system was working fine. How to I get Directv to recognize my system?

Can someone help please: - I've been trying to buy some tickets for an event in France. When I access the following from Firefox (140.6.0esr (64-bit)) on Debian GNU/Linux 13 (trixie)) the ticketing purchase options don't show. I typically use FF to log into social security accounts. I have not been able to use FF for a couple of months to log in to ONLY THAT SITE. I can on CHROME.

What settings do I need to get Street View to return the street view rather than a black screen in all 4 of my Ubuntu browsers, when it used to work fine but now is trash ?

Since updating to last version, when trying to access my two banking accounts, on different banks, the send button, when entering my user and password, doesn't do anyting. All other buttons and links respond.
