I recently installed v. 146 for both FireFox and Thunderbird on my laptop which is running Windows 11 Pro (Version 25H2 / Build 26200.7462). Since the upgrade to v. 146 I have been unable to use my older HP printer (Laserjet 2300d) on both products. When I try to print a browser page or e-mail using either the printer icon or the "File/Print" menu selection, the print dialog comes up like normal. However, when I click on the "Print" button, my screen flashes, the dialog box disappears, there is no indication from the printer that a file has been sent and no document is found in the print queue.

My newer HP printer/scanner (Officejet Pro 8130)works fine, as does printing to my older printer from MS Edge. So, the issue is with the Mozilla products. Using "Troubleshooting Information" and clearing the Printer cache has not resolved the issue for either FireFox or Thunderbird. Nothing else like this shows up in the knowledge base.

Do I have to retire my older, but dependable and inexpensive to use, laser printer in order to continue using FireFox/Thunderbird or is there a software solution?

I am trying to download videos from a site that I newly subscribed to. The videos do stream perfectly. The files do not download as video files and will not open at all. When I click on the download link, there is no recognition of a download happening and when I check my files later I have an "internet" file showing with a title but without a video file extension and nothing will open. The file extension is ".html". I am following the step by step instructions from the site involved. Other sites videos are downloading as expected.

Does firefox need to be my default browser? Any suggestions how to remedy this without losing what is working? Are there plug-ins that can address this issue?

Bonjour, A chaque fois que j'essaie d'imprimer un PDF sur Firefox, il me sort des pages complètement noires sur une brother DCP. J'ouvre les mêmes PDF sur Edge et pas de problème pour les imprimer. Le problème vient bien de Firefox qui envoie n'importe quoi via pourtant le même driver qu'Edge. J'ai vidé mon toner de noir avec votre bug.

I use Lightspeed Retail at work and it worked fine until recently. I can print labels, but if I need to print anything else, both tabs (print tab and main Lightspeed tab) stop responding. The print tab brings up the print preview popup, but gets stuck and I can't actually print. Both tabs essentially freeze and I have to close both and reopen Lightspeed in a new tab to do anything again. This has been going on for weeks, I'm not sure exactly when it started.

When I try to print puzzles daily from USA Today through Firefox, the crossword and/or the sudoku show up in the print box as 2 pages, when they are only 1, unnecessarily printing a blank page. If I print through Chrome instead, it only shows and prints 1 page. In order to print only one page in Firefox, I have to change the "pages" from all to current. Never used to have this problem.

Print dialog page margin custom values appear in mm only. No option for inches here.

As recommended years ago for earlier Mac OS and Ffx versions, I've tried the about:config dialog. Changed several universal page margin unit settings from 1 (mm) to 0 (inches), and also or my specific printers, for top, bottom, left and right. Also have tried to disable "unwriteable margins" settings, universal and printer-specific.

But the Print dialog Margins|custom (mm) seems to be hard wired, so not responding to changes in configuration settings.

Also have ensured that all Mac system measurement specs (Language, Region) are US and not metric.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Hi Win10 PC fully up to date. Changed my printer from a Xerox to an HP laser. In the control panel, set the HP as the default printer. MS Office prints on the HP without prompting. Firefox (134.0.2) always defaults to the Xerox. The HP is available in the drop down box. Restarting the PC or reloading Firefox makes no difference, Firefox always defaults to the (non existent) Xerox. MS Edge defaults to the HP. Any ideas? Regards - Andrew

I have two shops on Etsy. From what I understand, I cannot access them both from the same browser, so I have Google Chrome for one and Firefox for the other. However, I have had a lot of trouble printing invoices and shipping labels from Etsy. When I hit print in Etsy, the invoices and labels are sent to Word and then there is some corruption. Yesterday, the shipping label was too small and the top portion was filled with Chinese language and not English. The rest of the label was in English. Is there a reason why the forms will not print directly from Etsy in Firebox? Transferring the files to Word (this is done by Firefox) makes a process that should be quick and easy a pain in the neck. Can this be resolved or I am going to need to use another browser. Thanks. Since Version 145.0.2, November 26, 2025, 1. firefox won't print anything anymore. No matter the way that I select something to print (print to PDF, print to printer), firefox won't print anything anymore. The print options screen does pop-up when "print" is selected , but when "print" is selected on the print screen pop-up nothing happens. This includes the "print to PDF" function as no "save to" file folder pop-up opens to select where you want to save the pdf file to. After an update prior to the "Version 145.0.2, November 26, 2025" firefox no longer allows you to move your tabs from their original positions to the left or right along the tab bar in the browser. I use to be able to click on & select one or more tabs and move those tabs anywhere to the left or right of their original position to anyplace along the tabs bar. NOW at present, the only way to move any tab's position is by "right clicking" on the tab, select from the drop down "move tab" and selecting 1 of the 3 options ("Move to start", "move to end", & "move to new window"). You can also add tabs to groups through the "right clicking" process. Unfortunately you can't simply move tabs in any other ways without using those "right click menu options. This is VERY frustrating because I constantly move tabs (or strings of tabs) to better group them without having to add them to specific "groups". And speaking of groups, you can no longer rearrange the tabs in "groups" either.

These are both some of the most basic and general functions for firefox that no longer work in firefox 64 bit on windows 10 OS (my primary PC, but the same holds true on Windows 11). You should also note that recent updates also occured on both Windows 10 & Windows 11. I am still currently able to print from and move tabs in the Edge browser which I have had to start using more & more since these functions stopped working in the firefox browser. I've always preferred using firefox even though it is a huge resource hog, but if firefox doesn't fix these problems soon. I will have to resort to using the Edge browser over using the firefox browser. That reminds me of a 3rd problem with your "unload tab" function, 3. The "unload tab" function ONLY works if you click on and open the single tab first. The "unload tab" function ONLY WORKS for a SINGLE TAB at a time. When/if you select multiple tabs and select the "unload tab" function in the "right click" drop-down, ONLY the first tab selected and that you are currently on, using, and viewing will "unload" while NONE OF the remaining selected tabs will "unload". You need to make a way to "unload" ALL TABS that you are NOT currently viewing/using as "unloading" tabs one at a time is painfully tedious. The "unload tab" function would be a great idea to reduce firefox from being the huge memory hogger that it is, but only if you make using the "unload tab" function's use less tedious. Perhaps Mozilla should consider making the "unload tab" function less necessary, by either making the "unload tab" function automatic and not NEED to run every opened tab until said tabs are actually in use & actively being used OR BY making firefox less of the enormous resource hog that it has become.

I'm not sure if this is a FireFox issue or a google glitch, but here goes. Please give me direction on how to correct the above mentioned problems.

After downloading a file which is saved to my Mac Download Folder the file is removed once I close the Firefox Web window. I checked the folder before the window was closed and the file was there. After closing the window the file is no longer in the folder. Also it is not in the trash.

We print a report from an application, and the application allows the user the option to print the "title" of the report. Once the option to print the title is selected and print report is executed, the report displays in the browser, which can then be printed to a printer. On one machine using Mozilla, everything works as it should, but on a second machine that we are starting to use, even though "print the title" is selected, the title does not appear on the final print output.

In other browsers I see a "page setup" option and that is where I can select "Title" and position where I want it to appear on printed output, and I suspect Firefox must have the same settings, but for the life of me, I can't seem to find it.

I've included the images of the various stages that we are trying to achieve with Firefox on the new machine.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

About once a week, since 1/4/25, I been receiving different emails demanding payment or the author will divulge to all of my email contacts about the pornography I am supposedly viewing, which I do not. Can you do anything to close these email accounts? All of the messages are from different authors with different email addresses. I keep thinking this will run its course and end but it has not.
