For the past 2 days, Facebook won't load when I try to change my page to another (just switching between accounts). It acts like it is changing or loading, and then I just get nothing. I have done all of the things that are requested from clearing my cache, browsing data, restarting, etc. Nothing is working. I've attached a picture of my screen of I receive when I try to change pages - the big F. LOL Facebook on my phone works fine. I've tried also turning off my VPN and it doesn't load.

I've also had issues with my Xfinity email loading unless I turn off my VPN.

So what is going on?

Today (06/12/2025) upon opening a new tab, Firefox slid the new option of uploading a custom picture to apply to the background. Tried the new feature, now I can not find the setting that allows me to change the picture. I read the thread "Customize your wallpapers". The instructions are as follows; You can personalize your Firefox New Tab page by adding one of the available wallpapers. Follow these steps:

  1. In the right corner of the New Tab page, click the gear IG settings icon.
  2. In the customization panel, under the Wallpapers section, you will see different categories like Solid colors, Abstract and Photographs.

       Click the category you prefer. For example, selecting Abstract will show a variety of abstract designs. 

The problem I have is the customization panel is no where to be seen, I have click on EVERYTHING possible, it is not in my settings, why? How do find this?

I updated firefox, and all my addons and sign ins are gone now. Search history and tabs remained intact. It also created a folder on my desktop, but I'm not sure how do I "extract" my old data from it.

Why have ratings of reviews on Amazon disappeared and how do I restore that feature? I do not see a price tag in the upper righthand corner. I'm running Firefox on a PC w/Windows 10.

I have sound in Windows, but YouTube is dead quit. I have tried all that is suggested in Firefox help and some YouTube sites. Nothing worked. I have tried off the computer and restarted, but no change. My system is Windows 11, sound works, and the latest Firefox update installed. Question is this a YouTube tacit to stop NoScript and uBlock?

I updated Firefox this morning to 139.0.4 on my Mac and now the '+' sign to add a new tab no longer appears on the tab bar. I can still add new tabs with Command T however.

Any suggestions on how to restore the '+' sign?

When I try to go to costco.ca I get a connectivity error saying site cannot redirect properly. This site works with IE or other browsers.

The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

I found this file on my desktop. File type is Firefox HTML Document. Size 1KB. I've never noticed this before and wonder it I should delete it, move it, or what. Anything to worry about? I haven't opened it.

Hello, Thanks for taking your time to help me with an internet page problem. The pages load but when using the cursor to select an option, I must reload the page using the circle with an arrow icon almost every time. Never happened before and it's annoying. Recent Windows 11 update? Or, what? [email removed]@yahoo.com

Ran into an interesting bug with Firefox since installing the macOS26 Dev beta. Whenever I use command space to bring up spotlight, Firefox become unresponsive, the beach ball will spin. It will only happen if Firefox is in focus when I use spotlight, and only if I am signed into Firefox sync.

I am not sure of a way to help replicate this issue as it seems to only happen when signed with Sync, but I would be happy to provide additional if I can.

I have installed the VPN on Mac Desktop but haven't been able to turn on VPN. The icon is present in the top taskbar but only has options to quit or hide.

Nevermind. I cannot figure out how to delete my question so just editing it here.

I need to enlarge the font on the bookmarks toolbar as I have a visual impairment. I can find ideas for the regular toolbar, but not for the bookmarks toolbar...oh, and I am working on a Mac.

As the question stated I have navigated to my mozilla profile folder, ( C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\pw1dnvcy.default-release ) but there is no file called persdict.dat. I have ensured all file name extensions are visible, & none are hidden in windows file explorer (Win 10). I am at al loss I cannot figure this out.
