A white horizontal line in the top of the screen, whilst watching movies in tv5mondeplus.com. This issue happens when installed the recent update 129.0.

Tested in other browsers and doesn't appear the white horizontal line on top.

I keep getting Bad Certificate when I try to print from my Android phone. I can print from my tablet but I keep getting the message, Firefox preventing this print, Bad Certificate?

I recently tried logging in to my account at a financial institution and in addition to my user name and password they wanted to send me a verification code. I have no means other than e-mail to receive the code so I cannot log in. E-mail is not one of their optional ways to get the code. They say they have not changed their procedures. Could there possibly be something in the latest Firefox updates that could cause this problem?

Firefox flashes a white screen when loading a new page. This is a known issue. Is there a way to make it stop?

Firefox has been the only browser for me over the years, allowing customizations that free me from the frustrations of Chrome, Safari, et al. But why this flashbang, as kartana put it on reddit?

What can I do to have Firefox be compatible with my emails. When I open an email for the local newspaper, the news paper is distorted and enlarged 200% and asks me to sign in. Everything was fine until the most recent Firefox update.

I want to remove the recent update which results in Firefox and some of my email links to be incompatible. The newspaper link works on Safari but I do most of my activity on Firefox.

Also, the email link works fine on Google Chrome. But I hate Google Chrome and don't want to use it. I would prefer that the Firefox browser be compatible with sites such as my local newspaper.

Anybody. I'm ending up with dozens of tabs open because: 1. every time I hit HOME on my work tab, a new tab open up. One after another. It doesn't take long to have dozens of tabs open. Can anybody help me out here?

I never feel like webpages scale properly when I visit them. There is always content left off screen or I have to zoom out so much that the text is too small to read. Is there a setting I can change to affect this?

My Firefox Nightly version is: 135.0a1 (2024-11-26) (aarch64). My computer is a: MacBook Air (15-inch, M2, 2023) running macOS Sequoia (Version 15.1). I have been having these issues for a long time regardless of computer.

I have attached a picture of the labs settings I have enabled but I cannot see why any of them would affect this.

I searched around DDG for awhile and didn't seem to find others with this issue. I have firefox-esr installed on another device and the optiion is still enabled over there. Is there a way I can gain that back on this install? I use it for every link I copy. Thanks

Over the last month or so Firefox has been failing on my old mac OS10.15.7. I go to my mac in the morning and firefox just won't start. I try to rebuild but holding down the option key when starting the app does nothing. I restart, sometimes resetting PR. That has helped in the past but doesn't now. I have re-downloaded and re-installed. I have deleted the firefox folder in library App support. As soon as one thing works it happens again after a day. I don't know what the hell is going on but I don't like it. I have run anti-virus software and malwarebytes. They are not picking anything up.

I have another mac which uses up to date OS and that works fine.

Is it a case of using a specific older version of firefox? I have tried an older version from another boot drive (startup disk) using OS10.13 once and it also only worked for a day or so.

I have created a new Firefox profile. Now I want to copy my settings of the Developer Tools to this new profile. This should also include the custom device settings for the Responsive Design Mode. Is there a file (or files) in the profile-folder that contains these settings, and can I copy this file (or files) to the new profile? I found this link about copying profile files, but it doesn't mention devtools settings.

How do I turn this odd feature that dims FF bars when window loses focus? As of look of it only tabbar and toolbar are affected. I couldn't find anything relevant under "about:config". Also some tricks with CSS didn't work for me, maybe because I have custom chromeCSS that brings tabbar under bookmarksbar and applies other customization so that FF window looks like old good FF before they started to put everything on a single line in the bar. Thanks in advance.

I know I can hide the sidebar by clicking the button on the toolbar. But I'm used to opening my bookmarks and history with ctrl+b and ctrl+h, and being able to close them the same way. This still works to close the actual bookmarks/history, but the sidebar doesn't return to being hidden (despite being hidden before I opened them), it hangs around taking up space on the left of my screen. Even after I removed everything so it's just a useless blank rectangle with "customise sidebar" at the bottom, it defaults to staying open unless I click the button. It's really annoying. Is there any way to make it hide itself again automatically once I'm done using it?

When you check the image, you can see two "HOME" entries. This is an issue I discovered after uninstalling and reinstalling the Firefox browser and using Sync.

HOME is my PC, and this image was screenshot on my laptop.

Additionally, the Sync for these HOME entries is not functioning properly. I tested this by opening several sites, and while Sync works well from my smartphone to my PC, it doesn't sync properly from my PC to my laptop.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I tried rebooting my PC, but it didn't work out.

Starting this morning, I am constantly receiving pop ups supposedly from Mozilla regarding viruses. It says "click here to fix the error" Are these legit?

I have run my anti-virus and malware and they show nothing. I also have pop ups blocked.

Although listed as one of the options for default language, the current version of Firefox, which is my default browser, does not accept Brazilian Portuguese as the default language. It only accepts the Portuguese version, from Portugal which, to me, who speak Brazilian Portuguese, with all due respect, is a pain in the butt. I have tried, dozens of times, to delete the Portuguese version and set the Brazilian version as the default language. It works until I shut down the computer. The next time I turn on the computer, to my eternal dismay, Firefox cancels my previous language setting and reverts itself to the damn Portuguese version, which I dislike to the extreme.So I am, hereby, taking the issue to you with high hopes that this abdomally be straightened out once and forever.
